At Bluefin Battle Service, Clare was waiting around for Damien. The two of them had plans and she was waiting around for him, but there was no sign of him. She was getting a little impatient and wondering where he could be.
"Hey, Clare." Hallie said as she walked in. "What are you doing here? I thought you were going to get some supplies that we need around here."
"I am and will, but Damien said he would help me out and he hasn't showed up yet." Clare said. "He promised he be here."
"That's...not like Damien to just bail. Where could he be?" Hallie questioned. Clare thought it over for a minute and then it came to her.
"I think I know." Clare said as she didn't seem happy and just walked out of there with Hallie concerned on how Clare is probably feeling. Clare already left Battle Service and went to where she believed Damien might be. She soon learned she was right and wished she wasn't. She found Damien with Kathy again and was helping her instead when he promised he helped Clare. It also looked like the two of them were getting along really well with how close they appear to be. What's she sees is really bothering Clare and she can't take it how close those two seem to be.

The Dark Realm
"Are you sure about this?" Skelderon said as he was getting another monster ready. "This monster is more suited for spying instead of combat."
"That's why it's perfect." Persepha said.
"Very well." Skelderon said as he trusted her enough to do this. "Jinsin, bring this monster to life." He said as he threw the card into the statue and let Jinsin do his thing.
"As light can cause one to be blind, grant us a monster that will put others in quite a bind!" Jinsin used his magic and called upon a new monster. This monster was was green and appeared to be made of metal with a camouflaged-design.
"Copyflage is here!"
"Copyflage? All he can really do is make himself look like someone. What good can he do?" Toxa questioned.
"More than enough." Persepha said as she grabbed him. "You're coming with me. I need you to sneak into Battle Service for something." She said as she dragged him away and was putting her plan into action, but the others weren't so sure about this.
"Skelderon? What's going on?" Lecar questioned.
"Patience. All will be revealed soon. For now, she just needs the location of something inside Bluefin Battle Service." Skelderon claimed as he seems fully aware of what was going on. "Believe me when I tell you, you'll all be in for a shock."
...
Battle Service
"Hey! I'm back!" Damien called as he went into the training room where the others were waiting. The others greeted him, but Clare didn't appear to be that happy to see him.
"You've been gone for a while." Clare said. "Were you out with Kathy again?"
"Actually, yeah." Damien said with Clare getting annoyed.
"You surely spend a lot of time with Kathy. You really like her?" Clare said.
"Yeah. Kathy is awesome." Damien said. "She's always helping people, and the fact she doesn't let herself be in a wheelchair stop her is great. I like a girl that is persistent."
"She really does sound great." Zeke said.
"Yeah, so great that you seem to have forgotten that you promised to help me earlier." Clare said.
"What? I didn't... Oh man, I forgot!" Damien said as he realized he did forget that. "I'm really sorry, Clare. I got caught up and had a lot of fun with Kathy that I completely forgot I agreed to help you."
"Did you really or did you just not care anymore?" Clare said with the others finding it weird she would say that. "If you really would rather hang with Kathy or whatever, maybe you should just say so." None of them got what she was talking about, but there was no time. They heard the alarm go off and were alerted of trouble. This little problem will have to wait.

The Plaza
The rangers hurried over to the plaza and it looked like the area has already been cleared.
"This is where the alert came from." Tristan said.
"I don't see anything." Brandon claimed.
"Looking for me?" All of them turned around and saw Persepha appearing behind her. "I'm glad you rangers showed up. I'm offering you the chance to surrender right now."
"You know that will never happen." Damien said. While their backs were turned away, Copyflage was sneaking up behind them.
"Why not? It would certainly make things easier." Persepha said as she was trying to keep them distracted so Copyflage can get closer. "You are no match for my power. Why not just surrender? Do you humans actually enjoy the idea of your own destruction?" She kept talking and allowed Copyflage to reach out to Clare's hair. The rangers did thought it was rather strange how Persepha just stood there until Brandon took a look behind him.
"Clare! Behind you!" Brandon called with them all turning to face Copyflage.
"Owlets!" Persepha called as some of them appeared and went on the attack. All of the rangers didn't have time to morph as they all tried to fight off their enemies. Brandon and Zeke took on Copyflage while the others were fighting the owlets. That left Persepha and she took the fight to Clare as she swung her arm at her, but Clare ducked down. She tried attacking Persepha, but Persepha grabbed her arm, twisted it around, and threw her to the ground. Damien fought off the owlets as he took the saber of one and kicked it down.
"Hey! Persepha!" Damien called when her back was turned. Damien tried throwing the saber right at her, but Persepha moved out of the way and the saber nearly hit Clare in the head with both of them shocked over what just happened.
"Let's pull out!" Persepha said as she and the rest of them pushed the rangers away and took off.
"Are you crazy?!" Clare shouted at Damien as she went right over to him. "You nearly took my head off!"
"I'm sorry! I didn't see you!" Damien said.
"Sure you didn't." Clare said.
"Are you serious?! You really think I would do something like that on purpose?!" Damien said as he thought this whole thing with Clare was getting ridiculous.
"Guys, save it for later." Tristan said as the rangers regrouped. "What do you think that attack was about?"
"I'm not sure, but we better get back to the base." Zeke said.
"Yeah, let's go." Clare said as she was annoyed with Damien and Damien wasn't sure what to do to fix this. As the rangers retreated back to their base, Persepha was ready to put her real plan into action.
"Did you get what you needed?" Persepha questioned Copyflage.
"I did." Copyflage said as he held up a piece of hair he managed to get. "I was able to grab a piece of the Yellow Ranger's hair. Now, just simply watch this." Copyflage used magic with the hair and it traveled through his whole body with him turning into a copy of Clare.
"Excellent." Persepha said as everything was going just as she planned.
...
Battle Service
"You wanted to see me?" Clare asked when she stepped in the main room, where Damien and Captain Burner were waiting for her.
"Yes. I wanted to talk about what happened between the two of you." Michael said. "You two weren't in-sync as you usually are. With Persepha, we can't afford something like that." They both understood, but Clare still seemed upset. "I understand you two had a falling out earlier."
"It's all his fault!" Clare accused Damien. "First, he completely he forgot to help me when he said he would all because of some girl! Then, he nearly took my head off!"
"I said I was sorry!" Damien defended.
"Apologies don't fix everything." Clare said.
"Maybe not, but they're always a good step in the right direction." Michael claimed. "Find a way to work this out." He said and then dismissed them with the two of them stepping out.
"Clare, I keep saying I'm sorry. What more do you want from me?" Damien said. "You can't seriously be this upset with me. Talk to me. What's exactly the problem?" He questioned. Clare was about to talk to him, but his phone went off and it was Kathy calling. "Hey, Kathy." He answered. "Now isn't really a good time."
"Figures. If you'll excuse me, some people are still waiting on those supplies. I'll just get them myself." Clare said as she left with her being annoyed again. Damien doesn't understand the problem, so he doesn't know what to do to get her to forgive him.
...
Copyflage
Meanwhile, Persepha was putting her plan into action. She and Copyflage, disguised as Clare, waited outside and kept themselves hidden.
"Now would be an ideal chance." Persepha said. "Go inside and find what I told you about. Make sure you don't get caught."
"Just leave it to me." Copyflage said as he went on inside. Since the monster disguised himself to look like Clare, no one was aware of the danger that was walking into their own house. Copyflage just roamed around the building and was trying to find whatever it was that Persepha was looking for. He just tried to act casual so that no one suspects a thing.
"Clare! There you are!" He turned around and saw Damien with him believing it's Clare. "Look, I get you're upset that I've been hanging out so much with Kathy, but surely you know I'm not putting it above what we do here."
"Uh... Yeah... In fact, I say you should focus more on what you and she are doing." Copyflage said.
"Huh? That's not what you were saying earlier." Damien said as he was confused. "Anyway, I want to show I'm here when you need me. How about I help you with the supplies? They're outside, right?"
"Um... Yeah... Whatever you say. Just go on ahead." Copyflage claimed. Damien believed it and he went on like he said. "Moronic ranger."
...
Damien
While the others were outside and playing a little basketball, Damien thought he was actually helping Clare. He stepped outside and looked around for them.
"Where is... Ah!" Damien said as he thought he spotted the car with the supplies, but there was nothing inside when he opened it up. "Huh? Where are the supplies?" He questioned as he looked around for them. Just then, the real Clare was dropped off and began unloading the car. "Oops. Wrong car." Damien pulled himself out of there as Clare was trying to unload the supplies. "Here. Let me help."
"I got it." Clare said with some attitude and walked passed him. Hallie spotted that herself and thought that was rather weird.
"What? That isn't what you said earlier." Damien said as he was baffled.
"You guys keep playing. I got to take care of something." Hallie said as she left the game and went after Clare. "I'll talk to her." She told Damien as she went by, but Damien had to figure out what was going on.
...
Inside
"Clare! Wait!" Hallie called as she chased after Clare and caught up to her. "Clare, what is going on? You can't be this mad at Damien just because he forgot to help you." As they were talking, Damien hid himself and listened. "He's trying to make things right, he feels bad, but you're really this mad just because he didn't help you?"
"It's not just that." Clare admitted as she was telling Hallie the truth. "I thought Damien liked me, but he seems to like Kathy now. She sounds really nice and great, but Damien spends so much time with her."
"Are you jealous?" Hallie questioned.
"Yeah... I guess I am..." Clare said.
"You like him!" Hallie said as she was amazed and Damien was shocked. "I guess you really don't know what you have until it's gone. Clare, Damien does like you. You should just tell him."
"What if it's too late?" Clare questioned. "I knew he liked me, but I just kept teasing him about it. What if... What if he doesn't like me anymore?" Clare feels like she missed her chance. She assumed he liked her, but she didn't think something like this would happen. "I guess I missed my chance. Damien likes Kathy and not me." The two of them just kept walking with Damien standing there and was astonished over what he heard.
"She thinks I like Kathy...?" Damien said as he wasn't sure what to think, but there was no time. He spotted Clare again, but she was heading in the opposite direction. "Wait. She's..." He noticed that there were two Clares now and had to figured this out. He followed after the second one who was really Copyflage. Copyflage went into Sally's personal lab and was fiddling with her computer.
"Found it!" Copyflage said as it looks like he found what he was looking for.
"But you're not leaving with it." Damien said as he came in. "You're not Clare. I bet you're that monster from before."
"You're not as dumb as I thought." Copyflage said. "But you're too late, and you're not stopping me!" Copyflage tried attacking him, but Damien spun around and kicked him back. He looked around and spotted a security camera.
"Quick! Get help! There's an intruder!" Damien called. Captain Burner was alerted about the intruder and caused the alarm to go off. The other five rangers hurried as fast as they could to the lab.
"Damien!" Brandon called when they all ran in, but they saw there were two Damiens fighting each other. "Damien?!"
"Guys! He's the monster from before! He has the ability copy our appearances!"
"No! He's the monster! He made himself look like me to trick you!"
"I can't tell them apart." Zeke said as none of them could tell who was who.
"Clare!" The one on the right called. "Surely you can tell which of us is the real one."
"Me?" Clare questioned.
"He might be right." The one the left said. "Clare, you can tell it's me. We're friends. Think of everything that we've been through together. You, me, and all of the others. We're a team. You know I'm the real one."
"Clare, no." The other Damien said with her attention on him. "Clare, you know I'm the real one."
"What makes you think I do?" Clare questioned.
"Trust your heart." Damien claimed. "I know what the problem between us is really now. You weren't upset with me because I haven't been around. It's because I've been hanging with Kathy so much. I overheard you talking to Hallie." That got her full attention and got her heart going. "Kathy might be a good friend, and a great person, but there's nothing going on between me and her. Clare, I think you're just as amazing if not more. The way I feel about Kathy...is nothing compared to how I feel about you." Clare could feel it. Every word he said was the truth. She could tell that he was the real Damien. "I'm sorry I've been an idiot."
"But a cute one." Clare said as she went over to the one on the right and hugged her with the other rangers trusting her decision.
"Yuck! All this mushiness is making me sick!" Copyflage said as he fired a couple energy shots around the rangers and tried running for it.
...
Outside
Copyflage made a run for it. Once he was outside, he changed back to his original form and hurried straight to Persepha.
"Well? Did you find what you were looking for?" Persepha questioned.
"I sure did. It's is in the personal lab of their top scientist." Copyflage guided.
"Excellent work." Persepha claimed as she got what she was after, but Damien wasn't going to give her the chance to use it. He came flying at both of them in his battlizer and smashed against both of them.
"I don't know what you're after, but I'm stopping it now!" Damien said.
"You can't stop the likes of me!" Persepha said.
"We'll see about that." Damien said as he was aiming to end this right now. "Inferno Blaze!" Damien unleashed an intense blast of fire and was aiming to take both of them out, but Persepha had no intention of going anywhere. She shoved Copyflage right in the path of the attack and he took the full force of the attack and ended up destroyed. "No way! I can't believe you just sacrificed him like that!"
"He's served his purpose. I got what I was looking for, but don't worry. You will see me again." Persepha said before she disappeared and managed to escape. What did she mean? What was Persepha after?
...
Sally's Lab
"Any idea what they were after?" Michael questioned as Sally looked over her computer and tried to figure out what it was they wanted.
"It looks like that monster was trying to access the ranger database." Sally said.
"The ranger database?" Michael questioned. "The data on there is of all previous rangers. You've used it to help develop the weapons and technology we use. What would Persepha want with that?" None of this seemed good at all. Ranger data being used for evil could cause serious problems. What does Persepha have planned for it.
...
Damien and Clare
Although there's still some trouble, Damien and Clare were able to patch things up with each other. Especially now that they know how the other really feels.
"Listen, I'm sorry about before." Clare said. "If you really want to hang with Kathy, I'm not going to stop you."
"That won't be needed, but I do think it might help if you two actually met." Damien said as the two of them arrived at another one of Kathy's charity services and spotted Kathy among the crowd. "Kathy! Hey!"
"Hey, Damien!" Kathy said.
"Kathy, I want you to meet Clare." Damien introduced.
"Oh! So you're Clare!" Kathy said as the two of them shook hands. "Damien talks about you all the time. I like to talk, but I have a bit of work to do. I hope you can stick around to help." She said and wheeled over to do her work with Clare feeling much better around her.
"It's weird. I thought for sure there was something between the two of you." Kathy said.
"Maybe, but there's something more between Kathy and her...girlfriend." Damien said.
"Girlfriend?!" Clare said with complete shock. Acting smug, Damien showed that Kathy was with another girl and the two of them were acting like an actual couple. Seeing that, Clare felt really foolish now. "Wow. That's...surprising."
"Well, now that you see there isn't anything romantic between me and Kathy, does this mean you're finally going to go on that date with me?" Damien asked.
"Does this answer your question?" Clare said as she pulled his head in and kissed him right on the cheek.
"YEAH!" Damien shouted with him raising his fist in victory, but realized that probably made him look stupid. Clare just laughed it off as she just loved how eccentric Damien can be. "Uh... Shall we help out?" He offered. The two of them went in together...holding hands.
