"So, when that monster snuck in here disguised as Clare, it was looking for the ranger database? The same source of data Professor Burner uses to develop our weapons?" Brandon questioned as they were all talking about what happened. Given what happened with the last attack, they need to be on guard.

"Persepha just sacrificed that copy monster." Damien said as he remembered what happened. "She said that he did what he needed to do."

"Mom checked the systems and everything is fine. Nothing copied or stolen." Tristan said. "It's weird they would sneak in here just to try and find where we keep the database."

"There has to be more to this. Persepha is up to something." Hallie claimed as none of them liked how things were unfolding.

"We're upping security so she can't get inside, but those guys are sneaky and smart." Zeke said. "They might find another way to get inside."

"We can't let that happen." Clare said. Knowing how dangerous it is if their enemies get a hold of that database, they have to protect it. That was right when the alarm went off and they knew there was more trouble.

"Rangers, Persepha and a monster have been spotted near the power plant!" Michael reported. Knowing Persepha was involved, the six of them hurried out.

...

The Power Plant

The rangers rode on their E-cycles straight to the power plant. Once they got there, they kept themselves hidden as they spotted Persepha with another monster. This monster was in thin black armor with white armor right over his chest and head. He also had black horns coming out of his head with spikes coming out of his arms.

"There's Persepha, but what is she doing?" Damien questioned as they all watched closely as to what she was doing.

"Are you sure you want me to do this?"

"Of course I'm sure, Shockster." Persepha said. "Do it! Now!" Shockster wasn't sure about this, but he did what she said. He placed one spike against her and jammed the other into a tower.

"What's going on?" Zeke questioned.

"I'm not sure." Hallie said. None of them understood what was happening until something did happen. Electricity was coursing through Persepha with her trying to endure against it. Then, she turned into electricity and was absorbed inside of Shockster with it going out through the other side.

"Did you all see that?!" Brandon said.

"Did... Did Persepha just get destroyed?" Zeke questioned.

"I... I don't know. Something about this seems very strange." Tristan said.

"Well, now to get to work and destroying the city." Shockster said as he was leaving.

"We'll have to figure out what happened to Persepha later. We've got to stop him." Damien said. All of them agreed to that and hurried out. "Hold it right there!"

"Rangers! Just who I was looking for!" Shockster said. "I've been given orders to eliminate you if I can, and that's exactly what I am going to do."

"You can try, but we'll send you packing just like you did to Persepha!" Tristan said.

"Ha! You rangers don't have a clue as to what's really going on, but that's the least of your worries now!" Shockster said as he build electricity in his spikes and shot it all straight at them, but they all were able to move out of the way.

"Is that all you got?" Zeke said.

"Why would you ask that?" Damien said as he knows where that question got them.

"Just need a little more juice." Shockster claimed as he was absorbing power from the plant itself and used it to attack. All of them were attacked by a powerful blast of electricity and were knocked down.

"See what I mean." Damien said. This monster has some power to it, but none of the rangers know that there's something else going on.

...

The Dark Realm

"It looks like the rangers are starting to struggle." Lecar said as all of them watched the rangers battle against Shockster.

"Yeah, but what about Persepha?" Jinsin questioned. "I don't get it, Skelderon. Why did you bring Shockster around to get rid of Persepha? It seemed like you were starting to warm up to her."

"That's not why you did it, is it?" Toxa questioned as she could tell there was something else going on. "It seemed like Persepha actually wanted that."

"That's because Persepha wasn't destroyed." Skelderon claimed with all of them being shocked to hear that. "The first phase of the plan is already in motion. All that's left to do is for Shockster to stall the rangers until everything is done."

"Done for what? What's going on?" Toxa questioned. "Skelderon, why do you trust Persepha?"

"Because I know the truth." Skelderon said. He knows something, but what exactly about Persepha does he know.

...

The Power Plant

The rangers were completely unaware of what's going on. There wasn't much they could do until they get Shockster out of the way. Tristan took his saber and tried attacking him, but Shockster used his spikes and was able to block each attack. When Tristan swung it down, Shockster grabbed his arm and swung his spare against Tristan with him slashing him with his spike.

"Beat it!" Shockster said as he threw Tristan to the ground. Hallie attempted to stop him as she took her whip and lassoed Shockster with it.

"I got him!" Hallie said.

"Really? Using this wasn't a smart idea against me." Shockster said as he unleashed some electricity that travelled through the whip and electrocuted Hallie with her getting knocked down.

"Hallie!" Damien called as the team regrouped.

"This guy is tougher than he looks." Brandon said.

"So, what do you have for me next?" Shockster taunted as he slid his spikes together.

"Let's see if you can really take the power. Let's put them together!" Damien said. They took out their weapons and brought them together to form the Nature Bowgun.

"Nature Bowgun! Fire!" They fired the laser right at Shockster, but Shockster had a surprise for them. He held out his rods and used them to block the attack. All of the rangers were surprised that he was able to do that, but it was going to be even worst. Shockster gathered the power and actually threw it right back at them. The rangers all got a taste of their own medicine and were blasted by their own attack.

"What just happened?" Brandon questioned.

"He somehow turned our own attack against us. How did he do that?" Clare said.

"My specialty is energy manipulation. Your little toys won't have any effect on me." Shockster claimed.

"What about this?!" Damien said as he took out his saber and attacked him with it.

"Close combat only so he doesn't reflect our attacks!" Tristan said as all of the rangers charged at him and tried fighting close-range, but Shockster was still able to fight them off. Shockster fought back as he unleashed electricity around him and blasted all of them.

"This is getting annoying." Hallie claimed.

"Come on. Don't tell me that's the best you rangers can really do?" Shockster taunted. "If so, there isn't really all that much for me to worry about." It wasn't looking good for them at all. They better think of something soon or else Shockster is going to turn them into charcoal.

"You might be able to handle energy, but how do you plan to handle the heat? Wildfire Battlizer!" Damien called on his battlizer and it activated. Shockster tried blasting him with electricity, but Damien flew straight up and avoided his attacks. Then, he flew straight at Shockster and gave him a powerful kick. Shockster tried stabbing him with his spike, but Damien was able to deflect it and kicked him back. "Time to end this! Inferno Blaze!" Damien unleashed his best attack and unleashed a torrent of flames right at Shockster.

"I'm not scared of a little fire!" Shockster called as he tried to block it, but he couldn't stop it since it was fire instead of electricity. Shockster was caught up by the flames and took heavy damage. "Don't think you've won yet!" He called just before he blew-up and was destroyed.

The Dark Realm

"Jinsin, we need to stall them for just a little longer! Make him grow!" Skelderon ordered.

"I've got it, but I hope you know what you're doing. Grow!" Jinsin called as he used his magic.

...

Battle Service

Jinsin's magic reached where Shockster fell and revived him as a giant.

"Sally, send in the zords!" Michael said as he watched everything unfold.

"They're already on their way." Sally said as she managed to send the zords, but there was something else. She was looking over footage from what Shockster did to Persepha, studying it to try and figure out the enemy's real plan. "Now if I can only figure out what this was about. Something isn't right."

The Battle

The rangers zords were sent out with them forming the Pegasus Megazord and the Grand E Megazord. Once their megazords were formed, they all thought they could take him now.

"You're battling me with giant robots? That's a big mistake." Shockster said as he pulled another surprise over them. He used his power and drew electricity right out of both of the megazords. In just a few seconds, their megazords stopped moving.

"Hey! What gives?!" Tristan called. "I can't get my megazord to move!"

"Now what's going on?" Brandon questioned.

"We've lost all power! He absorbed all of it!" Clare said. Their megazords became sitting ducks in almost no time. With them unable to defend themselves, Shockster unleashed his attacks with no resistance as he kept unleashing blasts of electricity and was dealing some damage to the megazords.

"We've got to do something! We're sitting ducks like this!" Zeke called.

"Switching to back-up power, but we've got to try and prevent him from absorbing all of this as well." Clare said.

"We need to do more than that." Tristan pointed out. "Even if we get our power back online, how do we finish this guy? He can just absorb the energy from our attacks and send it right back at us."

"Tristan's right. This guy is like a power converter." Hallie claimed. "If we attack him, he'll just redirect the power of our own attacks and use it against us. We've got to try and prevent him from doing that."

"The answer is his arms." Brandon said. "If we can do something about those spikes on his arms, we can take this guy out."

"That's what we're going to do, but we've got to move fast." Damien said. "Tristan, we'll charge him once power is back online. Our megazord should be able to handle it. When we give the signal, finish him off."

"Got it." Tristan said. The plan was risky, but it's all they got. They managed to get their back-up power up and the Grand E Megazord went right at Shockster. Shockster attempted to absorb all of their power, but they tried to prevent him from doing so. They grabbed Shockster by the arms and tussled with him as Shockster tried to break away, but they weren't letting him go.

"You're not very smart, are you?" Shockster said and unleashed more electricity and tried electrocuting the megazord, but the rangers did their best to endure it. The rangers were doing their best to endure and keep going. They went straight for one of the spikes as they bravely grabbed a hold of one and managed to break it right off. "Hey! You can't do that!"

"Tristan! Hurry and do it now!" Damien called as they all tried to get out of the way.

"Solar Ray!" Tristan called as he went for his finisher. He absorbed sunlight into his megazord's wings and unleashed an intense blast of light. Shockster got caught by the blast and was taking much damage since he couldn't redirect the attack. However, he was actually laughing despite knowing this was where it ends for him.

"This isn't over, rangers." Shockster said. "You don't know what's really coming. The real fun is only about to begin." He claimed before he collapsed and ended up destroyed. They defeated another monster, but this one doesn't really feel like a victory.

"What did he mean by that?" Damien questioned. None of them liked this at all.

...

The Dark Realm

"The rangers might have won again, but this victory is short." Skelderon claimed as he wasn't too concerned about this defeat. "Persepha's plan is in full bloom. All that is left is to let her have her way and leave things into her hands."

"What are you talking about?" Toxa questioned.

"Patience, Toxa. All will be revealed soon enough." Skelderon claimed. "Persepha is about to claim what she's after, but she'll keep her end of the deal. If the Elemental Rangers tried to stop her, she will destroy them, and you know they will do what they can to stop her. Their end will soon be at hand."

Battle Service

Since Shockster was destroyed, and it seemed like Persepha wasn't around anymore either, the rangers thought the mission was over and done. They all returned to their base, but none of them really felt like they won anything. Something about this battle was different than from the ones they faced before.

"Well done, rangers." Michael said as they all reported to him. They were all glad they won, but didn't really feel it. "Is something wrong?"

"Sorry, Dad. This... This doesn't really feel like a win." Tristan said.

"Tristan's right. Something seems off about this." Damien said. "Starting with what we saw earlier. What happened to Persepha?"

"Yes... That does seem rather strange." Michael said as none of them were really sure what to think of this. Sally was looking over the footage again and again. She kept thinking it over until something finally clicked.

"That's it!" Sally called as she figured it out. "Persepha wasn't destroyed!"

"What?" Hallie questioned.

"What do you mean, dear?" Michael asked.

"Yeah. We saw her, and it was almost like she wanted it." Zeke said.

"No. Persepha wasn't destroyed." Sally said. "As you just witnessed, this latest monster had the ability to manipulate electricity and electrical charges just like a conductor or a converter. Well, humans are capable of conducting a charge of their own. What if the same is said for monsters?"

"What are you saying?" Clare questioned.

"I'm saying that the monster used the charge of Persepha's body and convert her into electricity." Sally said. "Once he did that, it allowed her to travel into the power grid of the city."

"You mean... She's moving through the city's power system?" Zeke said.

"That's exactly what I'm saying." Sally asked. "Much of Bluefin Hills runs on solar power thanks to Solar Tower, but the power plant still supplies power to the tower and the tower runs through the entire city. It's almost like she's traveling through the subway on the express. By going to the tower, Persepha can go anywhere in the city."

"Anywhere she wants?" Damien questioned as that didn't sound too good. "You mean like...even in here?" When he put that idea into everyone's head, they were all worried now. They should be. Just when they put all the pieces together, it was too late. The lights of the room started flickering. Suddenly, they saw a flash of pink electricity zip around through the building's systems and left the room.

"I think she's here." Zeke said as this wasn't good for them at all. That pink light was actually Persepha and she made her way through Battle Service quickly until she got to where she wanted to go: Professor Burner's personal lab. When she arrived, she emerged out of the system and returned to her original form.

"Yes!" Persepha said as she stood in front of the computer. "It's mine now! Soon, what I desire will finally be at hand!" She claimed as the truth of what Persepha is after will soon be revealed...just as she's about to claim it.
