The rangers knew that something had to be off. They were able to win their last battle, but it might be for nothing. Persepha ended up using the power grid of the city and was able to get inside Battle Service without any problems.
"Where did that surge of power go?!" Michael said as this was urgent. Sally worked as fast as she could to find where Persepha was.
"Oh my gosh... She's in my lab." Sally said. Once she said that, all six of the rangers moved as fast as they could to stop Persepha. The fact that Persepha is in their own house means great trouble. They all hurried over to Sally's lab. Once they got there, they kept themselves hidden behind the door knowing they can't be reckless about this. Carefully taking a look inside, they saw Persepha had her tendrils around the computer and appeared to be absorbing something from it.
"What's she doing?" Zeke questioned.
"It looks like she's absorbing data." Brandon claimed. "The ranger database! That has to be what she's after!"
"Not if we can help it." Damien said as they all moved in. "Hold it right there, Persepha!"
"You're too late!" Persepha claimed as she released the computer. "I already got what I came for."
"The ranger database. That's what you were after this whole time." Tristan pointed out. "Why? What do you want with it?"
"It's quite a collection of data you have. I can see how it inspired you to fight the way you have up until now, but I got what I needed out of it." Persepha claimed. "The ranger database doesn't just have data on old ranger technology. It also holds old AND CURRENT data on veteran rangers. Now, I have information on the team of rangers I'm after."
"Another team of rangers?" Hallie questioned.
"What are you talking about?" Damien said as they could all feel some big revelation was coming.
"Persepha is not my true identity. It's just a name I went by when I was reborn, at least until I could reveal myself, but now there's no reason to hide. I once went by another name. I once ruled over so many and struck fear into others until another team of rangers defeated me. I was once...Queen Bansheera!"
"Queen Bansheera?" Damien questioned.
"I've heard of her! She was the enemy to the Lightspeed Rescue Rangers, but I thought she was destroyed." Clare said.
"Not destroyed!" Bansheera claimed. "They only sealed me away. I roamed the Shadow Lands for many years, but my time there allowed me to grow stronger and took the form you see before you. When Infernis opened the gateway, it allowed me to escape and return to this world. I worked with Skelderon and his family until I could get what I was after. Thanks to the ranger database, I now know the locations of the rangers that defeated me, so I will have...revenge!" She unleashed an energy blast and caused a small explosion around the six off them and blew them all against the wall and floor. She walked passed them and laughed evilly. Now that the truth has been revealed, they are well aware of a great evil they are up against. A former evil has returned and is now out for revenge.
"Rangers!" Michael called as he and Sally showed up and tried to help them. "What happened? Where's Persepha?"
"Yeah... About that..." Tristan said as this was going to take some explaining.
...
The Dark Realm
"So Persepha is really named Queen Bansheera?!" Lecar questioned as Skelderon told his family everything.
"I've heard of her." Toxa said. "She was quite powerful and dangerous back in her days. I heard that she was ruthless and ruled over an army of demons."
"Yes. What she was after this whole time was the location of another team of rangers that got in her way before." Skelderon said. "She has agreed to help get rid of our pesky rangers as long as she gets to destroy the ones she's after as well."
"Sounds fair to me." Jinsin said.
"And now that the likes of Queen Bansheera is on our side, it's only a matter of time until their demise." Skelderon said. Queen Bansheera surely is evil and vicious. It's going to take everything the Elemental Rangers have, and maybe even more, if they want to have a chance of defeating her.
...
Bluefin Battle Service
"Queen Bansheera... I almost can't believe it." Sally said as she and Captain Burner were informed about what the rangers just learned.
"I wouldn't have believed it myself, but I highly doubt Persepha would be the type to lie like that." Damien said. "The reason she wanted access to the ranger database is because she wanted to know the location of the Lightspeed rescue Rangers. She's going after them right now."
"We've got to warn them!" Hallie said.
"We're already sending a message out to them." Michael said. "We're alerting others about Queen Bansheera and to watch out for her. However, there is a way we can use this."
"How?" Zeke questioned.
"We now know the true identity of Persepha: an enemy that another team of rangers faced before." Michael said. "They know much more about her than we do. We can use their knowledge, maybe even their technology, to destroy her once and for all." He's got a point. For the first time, they have a chance to get prior knowledge about an enemy and use it against them. "Hit the road, rangers. You're all heading to Mariner Bay."
...
Mariner Bay
The Elemental Rangers were hitting the road like Michael said. They all jumped in a car and was being driven there. After driving for a while, they were able to make it to Mariner Bay and they apparently were able to make it before Bansheera did. They soon arrived at a building and climbed out.
"Lightspeed Rescue." Damien read the building's sign. "How original." He sarcastically commented.
"It works for us. Lightspeed Rescue was formed before they made their own team of rangers." All of them looked and were met with two people who came out to greet them. "You must be the Elemental Rangers. We were told about your arrival."
"Who are you?" Tristan asked.
"My name is Carter. I'm the Lightspeed Rescue Red Ranger."
"And I'm Dana. I'm the Lightspeed Rescue Pink Ranger." They both introduced with the six rangers amazed that they're actually meeting two former rangers.
"It's... It's great to meet both of you." Damien said as he held out his hand with Carter shaking it. "Listen, we're here about someone from your past."
"We know. Captain Burner contacted us and told us everything that is going on." Carter said as he and Dana were well aware of what's going on. Once they got the introductions done, they all moved inside and had a look around. It looked like one of the most advance public service operations.
"Lightspeed rescue was founded by my father." Dana claimed as they were all impressed with the place. "We transformed into a public service for fireman and doctors like Carter and myself."
"Our base was originally underwater called the Aqua Base, but it was destroyed a long time ago and we relocated here." Carter said.
"You lived underwater? Oh, that sounds so cool." Damien said as they moved through the building. Zeke got a little distracted and wanted to try one of the control panels. He pressed a few buttons and that caused an alarm to go off. Not really what he was going for. Especially when Dana came over and glared at him before turning the alarm off.
"Zeke..." Clare said with all of them not really approving what he did.
"I didn't do anything." Zeke claimed.
"Hands in your pockets, Zeke." Brandon said to keep him from messing with anything again, with him putting those hands right inside. After being given a small tour, they went straight to a conference room to talk so they could discuss the current situation.
"Thousands of years ago, a horde of demons plagued our world." Carter stated. "Queen Bansheera was the leader of all of it. A warlock managed to seal the demons away, but they got out. That's where we came in. Lightspeed fought off the demons and we believed we vanquished Queen Bansheera. I thought we've seen the last of her after that."
"Mariner Bay stands on the grounds where the demons once held their palace." Dana claimed. "After the demons were sealed away, time passed and Mariner Bay was built. When they returned, they wanted to destroy Mariner Bay and rebuild their palace."
"So, is that what Queen Bansheera plans to do?" Damien questioned.
"She might, but she wants revenge first." Tristan said.
"Makes sense." Carter said. "Queen Bansheera would have done anything to rebuild her palace, and she surely didn't want anyone to get in her way."
"Queen Bansheera crazed power and wanted her palace to be restored." Dana said. "She even turned against her own generals for that and to destroy us." Dana and Carter remember how powerful and vicious Queen Bansheera was like the time she trapped the rangers in a blaze of fire by turning against her own loyal generals, or how she created a giant tidal wave in an attempt to destroy all of Mariner Bay.
"We thought we got rid of Queen Bansheera once and for all." Carter said. "In our last battle, she attempted to unleash an army of demons through the power of an eclipse. We managed to stop the ceremony and seal Bansheera away ourselves. We even had help from our former enemy: Diabolico. We thought that was that, but we wouldn't be in this mess of that was the case."
"She's just not just Queen Bansheera anymore. I don't know what you guys went through when you fought her, but she's incredibly powerful now." Zeke said. "She claimed she grew stronger during the time she was imprisoned."
"If you guys were able to seal her away once before, can't you do it again?" Clare asked.
"It's not that easy." Dana said. "The only person who had the power to do that was lost a long time ago. We barely managed to defeat her."
"But there must be something we can do." Hallie said. "There has to be a way we can lock her away once again."
"We need everything you have on her." Damien said. "We might also need to use your old ranger technology in order to defeat her. It's not enough to just seal her away like before. We need to make sure she never comes back and the only way to do that is to destroy her once and for all."
"You're right about that." Carter said as he was in full agreement with Damien. "Her reign of terror has to be stopped once and for all. Otherwise, she won't stop with us. She'll stop at nothing to get her way, and more people will end up getting hurt in the process."
"We actually have our old weapons and technology. It hasn't been used in years, but there might be something in there you can use." Dana said.
"Anything could help." Damien said. With help from some old rangers, they might have a chance to destroy this queen of evil once and for all. Dana showed the way to a vault they had in the building with Damien and Clare going with her while the others look over everything they could on Queen Bansheera. Hopefully, it will be enough so they can destroy her.
"Here we are." Dana said as she input a code and opened up the vault. Once they got inside, Damien and Clare were impressed with some of the technology and weapons they had.
"Wow... Look at all of this stuff." Damien said.
"We did donate some of our technology to another ranger affiliation called Grid Battleforce." Dana said. "There might be something in here you can use to help."
"Maybe. We're also going to need to send the data to Professor Burner." Clare said. "Queen Bansheera could show up at any moment. We might not have a lot of time." She said as they had a look around the vault.
"Is this here your old morphers?" Damien asked as he spotted the rescue morphers.
"That they are." Dana said. "We also have our V-Lancers." She said as she showed the weapons. "They can be used as spears and as blasters."
"Damien, check out this ride." Clare said as she spotted a hi-tech cycle.
"That was the Trans Armor Cycle." Dana said. "It acted as Carter's battlizer."
"All this does seem impressive, but I wonder if it's enough." Damien said.
"It will be." Clare said as she wrapped one arm around him and grabbed him by the hand. "We've won many other tough battles. This won't be any different." She said to console him.
"Oh... Is there... Is there something going on between the two of you?" Dana said as she could see it.
"Uh... Yeah, a little..." Clare said as she moved away from Damien and was a little bashful. "We... We actually have decided to be more than teammates just recently."
"It's not a problem of rangers dating rangers, is it?" Damien questioned.
"Not really, and I do get it." Dana said. "I would say there is something appealing about red." When she said that, it had the two of them wondering. "I'll let you two look around." She said and cleared out of the vault.
"What did she mean by that?" Damien questioned. "Do you think she and Carter...?"
"I don't know. Maybe. A fireman and a doctor is certainly a powerful pair." Clare said as that was a little interesting.
...
The Rangers
Meanwhile, the other rangers were looking over everything Lightspeed Rescue had on Queen Bansheera, trying to find some way to defeat her for good. They're trying to learn more and more about her so they know what they're getting into.
"Hey, I contacted my mom." Tristan said. "She's receiving all the data herself and is going to look for something we can use, but she thinks it would be beneficial to combine technology of both rangers."
"Good idea. Create a more powerful weapon using Lightspeed Rescue technology with your elemental powers." Carter said. "On that note, how powerful has she become. This data was from when we fought her, but if she grew stronger like you say, it might not be enough."
"Very powerful. When we first fought her, we couldn't even scratch her." Hallie said.
"Ooh..." Zeke said as he realized something he didn't like. "I just now thought of something. She could have been holding back the whole time, so we don't know how powerful she really is."
"Not likely. She's not the type to hold anything back." Carter said as she referred to her cruelty.
"Well, maybe we can..." Brandon was about to run an idea until they all felt the ground shake and it sounded like a large explosion go off. That explosion caused an alarm to go off and everyone got to work.
"What was that?" Hallie said.
"It can only be one thing." Tristan said. "She's here."
...
Mariner Bay
Tristan was right. Queen Bansheera has finally arrived in Mariner Bay and she surely didn't waist any time with her attacking the place.
"Mariner Bay... It's been so long." Bansheera claimed as she strolled through the streets while the people ran in fear and terror. "How degrading that this city still stands where my palace should be. Well, once I have my revenge, nothing will stop me!" The truth about Persepha has been revealed, and she desires to have vengeance on those who stood in her way before. This time, another team of rangers plans to stand in her way, but do they even have the power to destroy this wicked queen forever?
