System 192 light years from earth, 315'th day of the 4321st year of the first age of liberation, L-five Lagrange point for noster terrarum-Umbrae System (primary planet and second largest moon ), faster than light test vessel one, 291 days since disclosure,

The pilot stairs at the display, showing the planet of his birth, his home and the home of his 900 million people looking minuscule at the near infinite distances that separated them. He prepared himself and begins the pre-activation procedures for this experimental faster than light engine. This is the first ship ship designed by his people that, if this test is successful, can move faster than the speed of light. It was known that the god had this power, and many example of those foul gods work and some of another type have been found across noster terrarum and other planets in the system, but this is the first built by his peoples hands.

After a few minutes, the final preparations were complete, and he activated the hyperdrive. What looked like a new star entered the sky, as is told in stories of the foul gods' terrifying power, and with only a seconds hesitation, the pilot moved the vessel into the tear in the very fabric of reality, freeing himself from the chains of relativity and bringing a new age to his people's civilization. But this action did not go unnoticed.

System 74 light years from earth, tok'ra listening post Earth-4, 291 days since disclosure,

on a dead landmass on a dead world in a dead system, its population wiped out thousands of years ago by the Asgard, a tok'ra listening post designed to track hyper space travel in the, now mostly abandoned, earth sector stands.

In the core of the outpost, built into a almost completely destroyed underlords palace, the central computer of the outpost filters, all of the hyperspace data collected, looking for anomalies. The computer has not detected any anomalous hyperspace readings for 19 days since one of Hermes' Cheops raided one of Hephaestus's minor worlds. But today, it detects a particularly unique anomaly 134 light years away from the outpost, a hyperspace ship signature that does not match any known vessel type and is exceptionally primitive. This anomaly is brought to the attention of the small six man, crew of the outpost, who decided to send this information to the rest of the tok'ra, who, then decided to inform the tau'ri.

System 192 light years from earth, 325'th day of the 4321st year of the first age of liberation, noster terrarum orbit , 299 days since disclosure,

in orbit of their home, a bright light begins to blaze in the void, a hole in the very fabric of reality begins to form. From that hole, hundreds to thousands of tons of trinium and naquadah and steel in the form of a 48 m ship enters orbit.

upon this vessels entrance into the system, the defenses of the systems solitary world begin to activate, dozens of planetary defense satellites, armed with plasma cannons and pulse lasers, begin to warm up and turn themselves toward the strange vessel, ready to fulfill their purpose and defend the world till the end.

but before this first contact can turn into a battle, a message is sent from the ship to the planet: We are the tau'ri and tok'ra, we seek a audience with your leaders. Welcome to the galaxy.

Hundreds of millions around the world heard the message, the first message received from people from outside their solar system since the foul gods and the liberators walked their world, the first message since the liberators came and drove the foul gods into their pyramid ships to leave their world and never return. The people felt jubilation and terror and confusion in equal measures, but everyone knew what must be done.

Coordinates were sent to the strange ship, coordinates to a major spaceport that is mostly used to transport equipment and building materials into orbit. Waiting for their arrival were representatives of the planets government, and a large military force.

first to come out of the strange vessel with 16 men in military uniforms with weapons, determining the safety of the area before the representatives come.

Most of the soldiers' weapons and equipment are not dissimilar to what the soldiers of noster terrarum wear, camouflaged BDUs with bulletproof vest, and a large amount of equipment with each soldier holding a short bullpup rifle in their hands. But some of their equipment is simply bizarre and entirely unique, on the thigh of each soldier, what looks to be a metal snake is fastened to the uniform, like sidearms, but unlike any to be seen on noster terrarum in many millennia.

Out of the vessel came 10 more people, 6 men, 4 women. Four of the people were uniforms of the same design as the soldiers who came out before them, another four wore strange uniforms and carried long staffs. The man guarded by the four strangely dressed soldiers wore a dull brown robe, while the woman guarded by the other four wore a green and gray suit.

The party walked up to the representatives of the world waiting for them, and the woman spoke "hello, we represent the tau'ri and tok'ra, it is a pleasure to meet you, let's get down to business."

Remember when I originally said that the chapters for this story would be only one to one and a half thousand words long, and then, after chapter 2, it would never be that short? I remember, so I'm giving you this exceptionally short and poorly reviewed chapter to compensate (totally not because of the AP guv exam coming up on the first or the fact I was still trying to recover from a spring break sleep schedule that was about six hours off my normal during the week, no, totally to compensate for the longer than supposed to chapters).
