Adrien was at Argos' hideout in the abandoned warehouse. His cousin installed microscopic cameras at Monarch's lair to keep an eye on him if he does something way too evil to endanger Paris.
"I swear. I saw he released an akuma but he didn't say the victim's name. I don't like this, Adrien" Argos said while looking at the camera on his laptop.
"Whoever it is, we're in big trouble whoever the next akuma will be" Adrien watched the footage, seeing how the cataclysm has reached Monarch's face.
"What the hell was he thinking? That cataclysm is gonna kill him" Argos said.
"Like I remember, he rather be a coward than face justice," Adrien said.
"I better hope the akuma isn't sent to Lila since she's sent to Italy now," Argos said.
"If it's her, my fangs will make my father talk. His men are after me for the past few months. The brand company has too many guards that I can't get past" Adrien paced back and forth.
"Something is bothering me, cousin. I know you're hiding something and I know it's not just about protecting Marinette" Argos said.
"Alright but be ready on that one" Adrien knew he couldn't keep his secret.
"I'm listening," Argos said.
"Marinette is five months pregnant with my daughter" Adrien confessed.
"She's WHAT?!" Argos gasped.
Adrien covered Argos' mouth, "Would you keep it down?!" He removed his hand.
"Sorry. But you two are only 15" Argos pointed out.
"Well blame the hormones. I had no idea she was pregnant while I was dead" Adrien said.
"Is that why Lila wanted to kill her?" Argos asked.
"Apparently. She went crazy after finding out my princess was pregnant" Adrien replied, "I can't remember the encounter when I took the hit to save my love" He added.
"Well from everyone's view, you rushed towards Marinette as Lila threw her weapon at her. I was at the scene with people of Paris watched" Argos said.
(Argos' Flashback)
Felix was out with Kagami on the day it happened when suddenly he heard Marinette's cries for help when Lila in her akumatized form Vengeance was cornering Marinette and with a sadistic grin pointed at her while holding her weapon.
"This is the end Marinette Dupain-Cheng! Prepare to perish for what you've done to me!" Vengeance screamed.
"Don't do this, Lila! It was your fault!" Marinette begged.
"You think it's my fault?! You exposed me in front of everyone! From now on, I am Vengeance!" Vengeance shouted.
Felix saw Adrien looking terrified at this. There are two options he had to choose from. Push Lila from throwing the weapon at Marinette or push Marinette to take the hit for her.
Adrien had no time to push Vengeance as she threw the spear at Marinette. She wasn't fast enough to move aside, so Adrien tackled Marinette aside and the spear impaled him.
"ADRIEN!" Marinette screamed in horror.
"NO!" Felix gasps at the sight.
Adrien stood limply looking at his chest before falling over, breathing fast. The akuma was recalled from Lila and she watched in shock at what she did.
Marinette ran over to Adrien, holding her boyfriend up, "Adrien! No please no!" Marinette started to cry.
"Marinette" Adrien weakly looks up at her.
"What did you just do?! Are you crazy?!" Marinette screamed.
"People do crazy things when they are in love" Adrien smiled weakly, blood gurgling in his mouth.
"Adrien, stay strong! Stay strong! Stay with me!" Marinette sobbed that he was dying.
"Stay strong for me" He weakly put his hand on her cheek, "At least….I get to spend so much time with you. Please live your life for me. I….I love….you" Adrien said before he stopped moving, his lifeless eyes staring at the sky and his hand fell.
Marinette cried out loudly as everyone watched. The young teenager sacrifices himself.
(End of flashback)
"During your funeral, your father was never there. Only Nathalie and your bodyguard. Marinette gave her speech about you how much you loved her and that you had a good life outside the mansion. She even showed Paris the video of your first and only song that you sang to her" Argos showed the video of his cousin's song of that night he and Kitty Section sang to her on the houseboat.
Adrien remembered it and it was the happiest moment of his life. The moment he poured out his love to her, even if it took a long time for Marinette to confess to him.
"My princess is a strong girl. Now my mission is to ensure hers and my daughter's safety" Adrien said.
"You know we had terrible dads. I hope you don't become like them" Argos said.
"I won't. And my father won't live to see his granddaughter" Adrien said.
"He's gonna be pissed that you mated with a non-rich girl," Argos said.
"Let him be, I don't really care," Adrien said.
"Before the funeral, he went crazy. I spied on him and he was trashing his office out of anger. He was angry at you for getting in the way" Argos said and sipped his cranberry juice.
"I couldn't just let her die. And that was his only reaction?" Adrien was surprised to hear his father lost his mind over his death.
"Pretty much yes. He blames you more than himself. Nathalie was beyond angry at him for letting his madness have you killed" Argos said, "As well as Tomao broke his contract with him and your Gorilla bodyguard left too" He added.
"If you hate him so much, why couldn't you defeat him?" Adrien crossed his arms.
"Because I don't want to make the same mistake again. The scars are too deep. I hated myself for what I have done. I mean it was fun being Flairmidable but I couldn't bare to see the sentimonsters get sent to the sun. I know you were all saving Paris" Argos said.
"Sentimonsters are not easy to tame, Felix. One time when Milady and I faced Senti-bug who wasn't that monstrous, she couldn't help but follow orders. But then Mayura released her existence which traumatized me and Milady. Not all sentimonsters are evil but sometimes we don't have a choice. Without reason, without a heart, it can destroy mankind. Just like technology to make life better or to end it" Adrien said.
"I know. But now we better be looking for the akuma" Argos said.
"Of course" Adrien clicks on the news, "Agh, nothing. It's time I visit the Gabriel headquarters and find out more about his secrets. His men are no match for me" Adrien transformed into Bat Noir.
"Good luck with that," Argos said as Bat Noir flew off.

The headquarters was near the Montparnasse tower and Bat Noir has beaten his father's men or drank their blood dry. He came through the air ducts and landed in a pose.
"Urgh! That was disgusting" He said as he got up, "Why the bloody hell did I do that" He shuddered and hides near the wall when he hears the guard coming. He kept quiet until the guard passed.
"Coast is clear" He sneaks into one room.
"Damn it. You guys again? You know I'm gonna whoop your ass painfully" Bat Noir saw men waiting for him.
"We'll see about that!" They ran towards him to fight.
But Bat Noir delivered punches and kicks at them, even throwing one over his head and breaking his back. Then he lunges at the last man, biting his neck to feed.
"AAAAAAAGH!" The man soon died of blood loss.
The vampire tossed the body aside, wiping blood off his lips. He heads to the elevator and as it opens, Argos was texting Kagami while leaning. Bat Noir rolled his eyes and simply pushed the level button to get to the office.
"Seriously, this is childish," Bat Noir said.
"Easier than headphones" Argos replied.
They both stood there waiting to get to the level But Argos was too impatient that he wanted to get this over with and possibly help his cousin. So he reached for the button but Bat Noir slaps his hand away.
"No," He said in a deadpan manner.
Argos tries again but Bat Noir stops him again with a wheel flip move and then stood up again with a straight face. Argos now looked baffled.
"Seriously, stop," Bat Noir said.
"Alright. But this elevator is so slow" Argos said.
"If you rush it, the elevator could crash down," Bat Noir said and the elevator doors open, "Ah, see? For a bird that can't even fly had to use an elevator" He said sarcastically and went into the office to find secrets about his father and maybe destroy his legacy.
He opens a folder on his desk. Argos installed a microscopic camera to spy on the office. Bat Noir found a pic of his parents and Chloe's parents before neither was born.
"No wonder my father never lets my mom choose friends but his. Audrey is the nastiest woman" Bat Noir said.
"No kidding," Argos said.
Bat Noir went through more files, "My father can barely see that I remind himself when he and mom came from different worlds, they fell in love. And he can't see me doing the exact same thing with Marinette. Selfish bastard. I don't know his childhood but I'm guessing he wants me to be like his childhood version" Bat Noir said.
"He cares about his reputation. Your mom would never wanna be around him. My mother can see that he's a monster. She thinks everyone is a monster" Argos said.
"The only monsters are Monarch and Lie-la. Hmmm, what's this?" Bat Noir saw a file about someone called Gabi Grassette, "Gabi Grassette?" He reads through the file, "Father's been a fraud the whole time!"
"That explains why he likes to stay in that mansion," Argos said.
"Not only that, he faked his name. So there never was an Agreste household" Bat Noir said.
"So that could mean you're just a Graham de Vanily" Argos said.
"Yes" Bat Noir puts the file back, "Let's go!" Bat Noir can hear someone coming.
The two hide inside the janitor's closet. Once the person has passed, they made their escape.
"This is no makeout session, bird" Bat Noir morphs into a bat to leave through the open window.
"I never said it was!" Argos groans in annoyance and jumps out.

The next day, Adrien requested Felix to go to school to protect Marinette from harm since they all know she's pregnant. He also needs more sleep during the day. In the last five months Marinette has begun trusting him again after reclaiming the horse and rooster miraculous but still had doubts. But she had to trust him for protection now.
Once at school, Felix walks up and noticed Marinette waiting outside. Instead of his formal attire, he had to wear something casual like he's an ordinary boy. He wore a blue shirt, black leggings, and red sneakers.
"Hey, Marinette. Whoa, look at that" He saw her pregnant belly.
"Jeez, thanks. And I hope you behave like a good boy and do not try anything mischievous. Especially that da..." Marinette glared at him but was cut off at the last sentence.
"Yeah yeah. I get it. Adrien told me to protect you and the baby" Felix said.
Marinette crossed her arms, hoping he can apologize to her for all the horrible acts he has done.
"I'm really sorry for all I've caused by abusing the power of my brooch, impersonating and trading with that monster. I want to be a changed man now. I hope you can find it to forgive me" Felix said.
"Mmhmm...Me and Adrien are counting on you. I liked you better when you were that dog holder. You would be better in the kennel filled with real dogs" Marinette walks inside the school.
"Oh, come on. I was still a good puppy by helping Ladybug before. I mean, I used to love Dalmatians when I was a kid" Felix followed.
But Marinette didn't answer. Still angry at him for his mischief obsession.
"Look, I'm redeeming myself. Kagami is helping me understand the world and the values of life. She's the only person that understands me" Felix said.
"Alright, but just one more mischief and it's over," Marinette said.
"And again. I'm not trying to be a bad puppy again" Felix goes to Adrien's locker.
"Good" Marinette replied and gently rubbed her belly.
"We'll look who it is. And evil Adrien. I won't be fooled this time, fake clone" Chloe bullying Felix.
"That's all in the past, Chloe! And your attitude has not changed at all!" Felix shielded Marinette.
"Like I care! And now you're protecting Marinette and her mistake of nature?!" Chloe insulted Marinette's baby.
This made Felix mad enough to push her against the locker, "This is the exact reason my late cousin stopped being your friend! You go too far with bullying people and take great pride in it! And now you insult his baby within her?!"
"She took my Adrikins!" Chloe protested.
"My cousin is not some prize to be won! He was a person with his own will and life! And she did not steal Adrien from you! He fell in love with her! It's my duty to protect her to avenge my cousin!" Felix got off of her.
"Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" Chloe storms off.
"That brat is so foolish and annoying as usual," Felix said.
"Yeah. And how dare she call my baby a mistake of nature?" Marinette looks down.
"Don't let it get into your head, Marinette. Chloe is just jealous of everything. Your child is no mistake. You and Adrien will be great parents to her" Felix said.
"Then that makes you cousin once removed to her," Marinette said.
"Actually, I want to be her uncle. Adrien never had brothers or sisters" Felix said.
"That's easier for her to address you," Marinette said.
"Yes. Now come, we don't want to be late for class" Felix said.
"Okay, just don't do the peacock call," Marinette said.
"What brings you the idea?" He asked.
"I've heard Cat Noir purr once. And peacocks eat ants, millipedes, crickets, termites, centipedes, locusts, and scorpions" Marinette smirked.
"As well as berries" Felix added, "And no, I don't eat bugs like that"
Once in class, Marinette was writing on some papers. She also had a small drawing of her, Adrien, and Emma.
"Adrien never told me he had a twin brother!" Nino said to Felix.
"I'm his cousin. His mother and my mother are twins themselves" Felix replied.
"Right, knew that. But you switched attire" Nino noticed Felix's different attire.
"Yes. I promised Adrien I would protect Marinette and his baby since he passed away" Felix said.
"Even after all you have done?" Nino replied.
"Yes, I owe Ladybug and Cat Noir a debt. The death of my cousin made me feel like I lost another family" Felix said.
"I understand. Adrien was like a brother to me and Lila took him from us" Nino said.
