Adrien was sleeping on Marinette's bed with his arms crossed on his chest. There was no coffin for him to sleep like a vampire but he stayed in her bedroom to wait for her to come home.

"I hope they are alright out there," He thought while he was sleeping.

He then smelled something that made him hiss. Garlic. He knew that Felix would do mischief again but it wasn't funny at all.

"Aaahhh! Get the hell away from me!" Adrien hissed with his fangs.

"Huh. So garlic does work on vampires after all" Felix puts the garlic into a bag to stop the stench.

"Seriously, what bloody hell?!" Adrien sat up.

"How was your daymare? Scary?" Felix teased.

"Wonderful," Adrien said with sarcasm.

"By the way, your princess and baby are safe," Felix said.

"Good. And still no sign of the escaped Akuma?" Adrien said.

"Nope. Nada. I had my sentimonster find the victim all day but it's nowhere in Paris" Felix said.

"Thank goodness. So where's my love?" Adrien wondered.

"Right here, kitty. This puppy has been good all day. Aren't you a good puppy?" Marinette patted Felix's head.

He just moved her hand away, "Yeah. And a good boy" Felix said.

"The new shirt matches the peacock" Adrien noted the shirt color.

"Yeah, it sure does. Wanna hear some good news?" Felix then said.

"What's that?"

"I told Chloe off for her calling your daughter a mistake of nature," Felix said.

"She did what?" Adrien jumps off the bed.

"Yes. Just because I was carrying our Emma" Marinette said.

"That bitch. I should haunt her with my telekinesis" Adrien growled lowly.

"You do know nothing teaches her a lesson. Like the Akuma victims she caused, it never makes her understand" Felix said.

"Yes, she only cares about herself," Adrien said.

"Mmhmm. Only seeing people like me as low lives" Marinette lay on the bed.

At San Vittore prison in Milan, Lila was about to be brought to her cell, her fellow inmates mocking her for being the youngest in prison.

"I hope you enjoy your stay, Signora Rossi," The warden said.

"I will but you won't when I get out of here and kill you myself" Lila glared.

"Don't be so sure about that. You're spending 10 years" The warden said.

"10 years until I become insane and kill you all," Lila said.

The warden ignored her as the guard locks her inside.

"YOU HEAR ME, YOU BASTARD! I WILL GET OUT!" Lila grabs the door bars in anger, "This isn't over yet, Dupain Cheng. You may have lost Adrien but I will make sure you reunite with him!" Lila said.

"Enjoy while it last. And no visitors for you" The guard swats her hands away from the bars.

Lila grabbed his collar and pulled him to knock his face on the bars, "You'll be visiting me in hell!" Lila yelled.

"ARGH! You little brat!" The guard then pulls off and leaves her. Unknown to them the akuma has followed all the way.

It was night and Adrien was having blood from a donation blood bag that Argos stole from the hospital. Argos was still checking his camera on his laptop but no sign of Monarch creating an akuma.

"It seems as if the akuma he sent was unsuccessful this time. A day has passed and still nothing" Argos said.

"Damn it" Adrien growled but then had a memory of the grimoire book that his father hid behind his wife's portrait, "Unless I could get that book he kept," He said.

"What book?" Argos asked.

"The miracle book he keeps it in his safe" Adrien explained, "As I remember, I thought I lost it when I first met Lila. He pulled me out of school and grounded me, I guess he akumatized himself as the Collector to kill me for losing the book" Adrien said.

"Pretty much," Argos said.

Adrien felt very anxious that it made him drink blood from the bag.

"Are you done or are you still going batty for blood again?" Argos asked while eating his favorite crumpets.

"All done" Adrien wipes his mouth.

"Why do you always do that thing?" Argos asked.

"Do what?" Adrien raised a brow.

"This pose every time you fight akumatized victims with your lady" Argos demonstrates the pose to him.

"I'm not a poser" Adrien replied.

"But you are now. It's like you want everyone looking at you like all the time whenever you're a poser" Argos snickered and stands up.

"I've seen better posers" Adrien replied.

"Speaking of which, where's Ladybug?" Argos wondered.

"I don't know. Since there are no akuma attacks, I'm guessing she's taking a vacation break. And I've seen you were a poser once as Flairmidable. If you so hated my father, you could've bitten his ass when you had the chance. But you were busy playing fetch too much with your big mouth" Adrien said and stares at the footage laptop, still nothing.

"Yep. If I was a cat, I would rather play with yarn balls" Argos replied.

"As if" Adrien scoffs and then held a photo of Felix and Kagami out of nowhere, "Can you fetch this?"

This made Argos let out his peacock call and he quickly covered his mouth.

"Did you just make a mating call?" Adrien said amused.

"No!" Argos blushed, making his bluish face appear scarlet.

"Yes, you did. Oh my god! You can make bird calls!" Adrien laughed.

"It's not funny!" Argos was so embarrassed.

"Reminds me of when I purred in front of Ladybug," Adrien said.

"Really?" Argos asked.

"Yeah, it was embarrassing too," Adrien said.

"I can't believe I just did that. That was totally humiliating!" Argos pacing back and forth.

Adrien can tell something was up with him, "You have feelings for Kagami"

"Yes, since I rescued her from her cruel mother" Argos admitted.

"Why?" Adrien asked.

"Because she's helping me understand the world and changing my ways to be a better person," Argos said.

"And yet she once you said you don't know to express yourself," Adrien said and fed Plagg a cheese.

"Well until now," Argos said.

"Of course. Still miss the old times when we played" Adrien said.

"Yes, but it's time that I don't impersonate you again" Argos eating his crumpets.

"Good" Adrien sat near Plagg.

"So, that book you mentioned. Are you gonna steal it from him?" Argos asked.

"Yes, since I walk at night. And besides, I need to see if Nathalie is okay. As I remember, she's very sick and this has happened to my mother. This might be happening to Nathalie" Adrien said.

"Let's hope it's not too late," Argos said.

Bat Noir arrived at the Agreste manor and lands near the window of his father's office, using his claws to circle the glass and unlock it.

"Coast is clear" He snuck inside.

He walks up to his mother's portrait, moves it aside, and cataclysm the safe door to retrieve the book, "Come to Papa" He picks up the book.

He checked to be sure it's real by examining the age of the book. Argos warned him that Gabriel once placed a fake brooch in the safe.

"Hmmm….. Exactly how I remember it" He saw it was the real one.

He then felt a stab in his back and when he turns around, it was just his father with a cast on his left arm. Bat Noir simply removes the dagger from his back and just drops it on the floor.

"Hmph, I always knew you were irredeemable and a liar" Bat Noir hissed.

"And you dare steal from me?!" Gabriel replied.

"You're one to talk" Bat Noir laughed in disbelief, "You stole all the miraculous from Ladybug. What goes around, comes around" He then pulled Gabriel's good arm and threw him over.

"You knew mother wouldn't want you chasing the miraculous but you never listen to anyone's advice. Not even my Marinette. Not even me" Bat Noir said.

"I do what is necessary, Adrien! Hand it over!" Gabriel stands back up but Bat Noir kicks him in the gut.

"No. Hand over the wedding ring or I go for your neck" Bat Noir unsheathed his fangs.

"Never!" Gabriel refused to give up the ring.

"I kinda hoped you say that" Bat Noir grabbed his arm and bites hard.

"AAAARGH!" Gabriel screamed as Bat Noir pulls the ring from the finger while biting him.

He spits black blood out of his mouth since it tasted like a cataclysm, "How does it feel? Your own child causes more pain?!" Bat Noir said and threw him to the desk.

"One day everyone will see who you really are. You may be a powerful man but you don't own Paris! Hand over the miraculous rings or my lovely bats will bite all over you" Bat Noir glared, "You got to the count of five! One...two...three" He threatened Gabriel.

"Alright! I'll surrender them!" Gabriel begged.

"Don't try anything to lie to me or I will break your broken arm" Bat Noir hissed.

"Nooro, dark wings rise" He transformed into Monarch and hands the rings to him. He morphs back to Hawkmoth with a scowl.

"Say goodbye to Monarch and hello to Hawkmoth" Bat Noir taunted him.

"I hope you're happy now!" Hawkmoth said.

"No. Tell me Hawkmoth, who did you send the Akuma to?!" Bat Noir demanded.

"I don't know!" Hawk Moth said.

"Don't lie to me! Argos and I saw it on footage!" Bat Noir snarled.

"I don't know! It's too far out of range!" Hawk Moth said.

"Where ever it is, it's not gonna end well," Bat Noir said.

"Mom would never love a madman like you. When is it ever gonna be enough, huh? Things always go wrong, Father. You can't explain it! You can't predict it! Bringing mother back will not be the same!" Bat Noir kicked him in the gut to stun him, "She would be angry at you if someone's life was taken away"

"URRGH! Adrien please" Hawkmoth groaned.

"You deserve to be all alone. Marinette and I are happy together! You can never accept my choice! Farewell Gabi" Bat Noir headed for the window.

Argos was at Kagami's place, staying hidden from her mother since she doesn't like him that much. He had Kagami sleep on his chest while Argos was thinking of what he can do to bring his cousin back as a human. His blood diet was killing him when it comes to being forced to feed to sustain life.

"What can I do? Him being a vampire ain't easy" He thought.

"Felix, stop stressing out" Kagami can tell what he was thinking about.

"I'm glad that he's back but how long can he endure as a vampire? He'd die again if he doesn't get blood in time" Argos said.

"I don't know. But even as an immortal being, he still can't die like a human" Kagami said.

"What will it take for him to become human again?" Argos said.

"If he's really cursed, he has to do an unfinished mission to regain his human form I suppose," Kagami said.

"Unfinished? Then that means..." Argos paused for a moment.

"He has to finish off the one who killed him," Kagami said.

"Technically two people killed him, not just one" Argos said.

"Yes, besides Lila, it was Monarch. She's in prison while he's on the loose" Kagami said.

He nibbles her neck, marking her as his mate, "That's the problem. Marinette is pregnant and Adrien is afraid to lose her again. We both saw his death that day" Argos said.

"Yes, I still have nightmares of it" Kagami moaned.

"Me too, my queen. He and I were raised to be prodigy children and we barely ever had the time to be like normal people. That's why he wants to be an ordinary boy" Argos said.

"I never knew my father," Kagami said.

"Some things are better left forgotten, Kagami" Argos said.

"I suppose" Kagami rests her head on his chest.
