At the abandoned warehouse, Argos can see that his vampire cousin is feeling very stressed that he's a father now to his daughter. He knows he's afraid of his father finding out.
"This is not good. Being a father this young means trouble" Adrien said.
"Did you really enjoy it with her that night you mated?" Argos smirked.
"Ahem!" Adrien cleared his throat annoyed.
"I'm serious, vampire boy" Argos wanted an answer.
"Yes, I did but I didn't expect her to be pregnant by the time I died," Adrien said.
"And yet you got yourself a new family. Away from your cruel father who can't even respect your former life" Argos said.
"Yeah. Little Emma is the best gift for me and my Princess" Adrien said.
"Indeed but everyone thinks Marinette is gonna be a single mother," Argos said.
"I know. But it's gonna be hard to explain how I came back to the public" Adrien said.
"Anyways, it seems your dad's broken wrists are healed for the past few months" Argos stares at the camera footage of Monarch trying to track a victim to akumatize.
"He just doesn't know when to stop," Adrien said.
Argos listened for an akuma name and he gasped that the Akuma victim is after Kagami.
"No! He's sending after my dragon queen!" He exclaimed.
He quickly jumped out the window to head to Kagami's place. Adrien had no time but to transform to help his cousin.
"Plagg claws out!" He turns into Bat Noir and flew after him.
But they were too late, Kagami was in the clutches of Matagi Gozen, her mother.
"Mother, stop! I love him!" Kagami struggled.
"You have some nerve to love the nephew of the traitor that I worked with!" Matagi Gozen yelled.
They heard a familiar peacock angry call and the hand fan sliced Matagi Gozen's hand that was holding Kagami. Argos leaps and caught Kagami in his arms.
"I got you" He placed her gently.
"I was doing just fine but thanks," Kagami said calmly.
"Watch out!" Argos carried her to evade the Akuma villain stomping on them like a horse.
"We got this!" Bat Noir strikes at her with his staff.
To his surprise, his strength has increased as he was able to knock her off balance.
Ladybug swings in to help out but Matagi Gozen got up and was about to unleash something. Time slowed down and Bat Noir must get everyone out of the way. He rapidly moved them all one by one before anything could kill them. After getting innocent people to safety, he sees Argos slowly shielding Kagami from the quake about to hit them. So he moved them aside too. He then saw Ladybug about to miss her swing and he quickly caught her in his arms and moved her next to Argos and Kagami. The akumatized object was the sword. Time resumed to normal.
"Bugaboo! The sword!" Bat Noir said.
"On it! Lucky charm!" She summoned her charm and out came a bag of dry ice, "Dry ice? Hmmm" Ladybug looks at the river and then got an idea, "I got an idea!"
"Aaahhh! Swim now!" Argos grabbed Bat Noir and jumps into the river.
"Here it comes!" Ladybug tossed the bag into the river to cause a large amount of smoke to appear.
Argos and Bat Noir dodged the sword from the akuma villain so That Ladybug can blind her with dry ice smoke. They both swim back up to the surface for air.
"It's working!" Bat Noir said.
"And it's mine! No one treats my queen!" Argos jumps out and sliced the sword with his hand fan.
"NO!" Matagi Gozen screamed when the sword got destroyed.
"Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug caught the akuma to purify it.
Then tossing her lucky charm to repair the damage and the akumatized villain returns to Tomao. Kagami can't even look at her mother and just hugs Argos for dear life.
"Hontōni arigatō Argos" She thanked him.
"You're welcome," Argos said.
"Pound it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir fistbumps.

Later, Bat Noir broke into the lair to teach his father a lesson.
"I warned you! But you didn't listen! I gave you one warning and this is how you repay me?!" Bat Noir said furiously.
"I just want your mother back! Is that too much to ask?!" Gabriel shouted.
"Do you know the consequences of the wish? If you use the Ladybug and my miraculous there comes a price to the wish. It might be anyone even me!" Bat Noir said, "You're delusional, father! Love doesn't last forever! Mom accepted her fate but you just can't let it go! If you bring her back, she's not gonna love you for what you did to Paris, to innocent people, children, even me! Don't make me knock your head out!" Bat Noir pinned him against the casket of his mother.
"AAGH!" Gabriel grunted by the impact.
"I found out that Nathalie kept the videos of my mother and how she said that you are too obsessed!" Bat Noir lifts him up.
"Nathalie was like a mother to me. She supported me more than you did! When mom disappeared, I was desperate for you, hoping you get along with me but you didn't! You wanna know why I convinced Nathalie that I wanted to go to school like everyone my age?" Bat Noir growled.
"Why is that?" Gabriel asked.
"My whole life, I never met anyone I could talk to! I needed a real teenage life outside the mansion! But you always say you're my father but you never treat me like a son. You were wrong about the world being dangerous! You were wrong about me! The only danger I see is you!" Bat Noir shoved him aside, "My kwami was more of a father than you ever were! I haven't forgotten what you did in New York and Shanghai. What you did was unforgivable! I never traveled until I did with my friends in New York and you ruined it by blaming me for being in a place that's dangerous!" He punched the wall in anger, "You manipulated me!"
"Calm down, Adrien! I beg you!" Gabriel begged.
"You beg?! For the time mom was gone, I have suffered enough!" Bat Noir yelled, "You kept me in the dark while you traumatized everyone's hopes and dreams! You think mom would love a man like that?!" He yelled.
"N...No" Gabriel uttered in fright.
"Exactly!" Bat Noir scowled.
"You'll never bring Mom back and it's time to accept that! But you always think of what she deserves than what she wanted! You can't make decisions for anyone! Not even to me!" Bat Noir morphed into a bat to leave, "Farewell Gabriel!" He coldly disowned his father.

Around midnight, Bat Noir was beyond angry that he feds on a criminal in the alley, not caring how much he drank but he needed to calm down without taking his anger out on his princess or his daughter.
"I always knew I find you here" Argos leaning against the wall.
Bat Noir groaned in annoyance while drinking blood but then he finished and tossed the corpse aside, "I've been very pissed"
"Let me guess, your father?" Argos asked.
"Yes. For his selfish goals!" Bat Noir replied.
"You are finally coming out of your shell. Remember when I told you to stop being so obedient to your father? You always say you can't disobey him" Argos said.
"I can't but you can. I remember that you tricked me again. I know you didn't disobey him in my place" Bat Noir reminded him before the Strikeback.
"I know but he also threatened me and tried to kill me with that fake Collector" Argos said.
"Yes, again he did that so no one will suspect his true identity" Bat Noir crossed his arms.
"Of course. Is something else bothering you?" Argos asked.
With a sigh, Bat Noir then looks up, holding back tears, "I had to put Nathalie out of her misery"
"What?" Argos gasped.
"The brooch of the peacock was damaged and it gave her illness the same way it happened to my mother. I assume my father fixed it when he became Shadow Moth. If it wasn't fixed and you got it, you would have gotten sick too" Bat Noir said.
"Yes, that's a relief" Argos was still shocked.
"That's why a damaged one shouldn't be used," Bat Noir said.
"I understand. And Adrien, I got bad news from Milan" Argos showed an article about Lila's escape.
"Are you shitting me?!" Bat Noir snatched the article and reads it.
After finishing reading he was in shock, "Dad wasn't kidding when he said his akuma is too far out of range. The akuma followed Lila all the way to Italy" Bat Noir said.
"This means trouble," Argos said.
"She's far away from here. What am I gonna tell my princess? She's gonna freak out too much" Bat Noir pacing back and forth.
"I think it's up to us to stop her," Argos said.
"What about Ladybug?" Argos asked.
"Lila also wants revenge on her too" Bat Noir knowing that Lila hates Ladybug and Marinette.
"Yeah. Her too" Argos said.
"Lila might come back in 3 days. She's far away from here. I can't let her madness kill my princess. Especially my daughter" Bat Noir said.
"I won't let her take my niece like she took you," Argos said.
"Awww….is the bird caring about the cat?" Bat Noir teased.
"Yes, since you died, I swore to protect the family," Argos said.
"Good. Let's patrol" Bat Noir said.
