Reunion In Oz Part 1
On the very top floor of Winston Prep where the community college students went to classes, Stanley was having a difficult time paying attention in Spanish class.
All Stanley could do was glance over at Henry, who had fallen asleep on top of his own Spanish textbook.
Alan and Anne I can understand falling asleep in class, Stanley thought. it just seems so out of character for Henry to do such a thing!
Unknown to Stanley, Guinevere had already merged her own soul with Suzie's and she had already made Henry fall asleep.
Stanley himself started yawning, before too long, he too was using his Spanish textbook for a pillow.
When he awoke, Stanley found the tin man and the guard in the palace throne room.
"Hi, guys," the lion joked. "isn't it a bit too early for Halloween?"
"Cut out the ridiculous jokes, Lion!" the guard scolded sharply.
"And, Halloween," the tin man asked. "what's that?"
Where am I? This isn't WPA! The people here have never heard of Halloween, and why do they think I'm a lion? Stanley thought.
"Why have we been summoned? And where are Scarecrow, Anne, and Guinevere?" the tin man asked the guard.
"That is 'His Majesty'," the guard in green corrected the tin man. "and he as well as Guinevere and Anne should arrive any minute now."
The lion heard the tin man squeaking, so he oiled the tin man's limbs.
"Thanks," the tin man said to the lion. "when I get antsy, I start squeaking, I needed that!"
"You're welcome." Lion said to the tin man.
Before too long, Guinevere and King Scarecrow arrived in the throne room.
"Where is Anne the Wicked Witch Slayer?" King Scarecrow asked.
"Don't worry, my king," Guinevere said. "she and Chu Chu will be here soon."
Back at Winston Prep, Chu Chu jumped into Anne's arms after she had changed from her school Mary Janes to her ruby sneakers.
Anne jumped up and down three times.
"There's no place like Oz... there's no place like Oz." Anne said.
Anne's ruby sneakers worked their magic and whisked her and Chu Chu off to the magical Land of Oz.
