Reunion In Oz Part 2
Anne and Chu Chu arrived in the throne room of the Emerald City palace just in time to greet everyone.
"Yā, An!" the tin man greeted in Japanese.
"Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow!" Anne exclaimed.
"Hello, Anne!" the lion greeted.
"Hi, Anne!" the scarecrow greeted.
"You and your Japanese, Tin Man." the guard sighed.
"Yep," Anne commented. "that's Henry for sure."
"What are you saying, Anne?" the tin man asked.
"Henry easily gets annoyed by Alan and me when we speak Japanese around him." Anne answered the tin man.
"I see." the tin man said to Anne.
"So, Guinevere," Anne asked. "what is our mission?"
"You, King Scarecrow, the tin man, and the lion are to go to the Palace of the Goblin King to rescue Queen Rosma and the Wizard of Oz from the villain's clutches, will you do it?" Guinevere asked Anne.
"Of course I will." Anne volunteered.
The tin man stepped forward, "My heart is telling me that I should be in too." he said.
The lion put his right paw in, "Me too." he said.
The scarecrow thought before speaking.
"I'm in too." the scarecrow said.
Chu Chu barked in agreement.
"Terrific," Guinevere exclaimed. "now, off you go! Make all of Oz proud!"
Anne, the scarecrow, the tin man, and the lion raced out of the Emerald City castle.
The King of the Forest led the way with his medal of courage gleaming in the sun's light.
Anne had Chu Chu in her basket and was a few steps behind the lion.
Both, the scarecrow and the tin man were following behind Anne and Chu Chu.
At that moment, the lion stopped at a pit and Anne noticed what kind of pit it was.
