At the start of the following moon, You awaken early. You feel well-rested despite the exhausting battle that caught You by surprise the day before. You stretch your body out as You prepare for the day, and Seraphine speaks to You along the way.

Seraphine: It's strange to think that everyone is back here at last… There are so many people we thought we would never see again, and yet, here they are. It's refreshing.

You nod and say that You are going to make the most of the chance You have been given.

Seraphine: I wish we knew where we were supposed to be headed next, but I suppose it just comes with the territory… Confusion is a piece of the puzzle these days. It's how life has been going for ages now.

You tell her that You intend to do everything in your power to track down Belenio and Tagusol the instant they make themselves known.

Seraphine: They're bound to come out of hiding when they realize something has happened to Evenor… Or that's the hope, at the very least. I don't know for sure if that will turn out the way we would have liked, but…

You shake your head and say that You are choosing to stay optimistic.

Seraphine: I'm glad to hear it… Though I have to ask how you're able to do it.

You ask what she means.

Seraphine: We killed Evenor… You were the one holding the blade that struck her down. She was perhaps the only one who could have given you the answers you sought about the past, and now… She's gone.

You tell her that You intend to find out the truth another way. Evenor was being too vague with her answers, and You likely would not have heard what You needed from her no matter how many times You asked.

Seraphine: You're probably right about that… It's a shame we had to go so far though. I understand there was no way for us to change her mind after she decided to cause issues for us, but…

You say that You are going to continue fighting and looking to the future even in light of Evenor's death. You know what had to happen that day, and You are doing your best to not regret it.

Seraphine: You can still feel it though, can't you? No matter how much you try to avoid it, you know there's a little piece of you from the past that still cares about her. Even if you don't remember her, you know you once cared.

You hesitate before saying that You are choosing to not acknowledge that piece of yourself. You know there was no other option, and You do not regret what had to be done. The army required You to step up, and You would not be cowed simply because You had a history with Evenor years ago.

Seraphine: I'm proud of you… I wish it didn't have to come to this, but I'm glad you were able to do what was necessary.

You tell her that You want to do what You can for the sake of the army going forward. You will do what must be done regardless of what it means for your past or present.

Seraphine: Then we should go and meet with the others. Maybe they'll have come up with a plan for where we're headed next. Now that we have a bunch of extra allies on our side, we have a lot more information at our disposal, and they should be able to point us in the right direction.

You nod and tell her that You are looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for You for better or worse.

Seraphine: I'm glad to see you can be so optimistic… Let's go see what we can expect then. Everyone is waiting for us.

You start up to the cardinals' room, and Seraphine falls silent along the way. When You arrive, You find the Ashen Wolves already gathered together, and they all seem to be in a much better mood than You remember them being during your previous meeting. You can tell the new arrivals at the monastery have already done a lot to improve morale, and the idea leaves You smiling to yourself.

Ernst: Alright. Now that we're all here, we should go over everything that's happened in the last day or so.

Gabriel: The monastery is already well on its way to returning to its previous state. Things are looking up for all of us.

Taiyin: Everyone who came to help us win the battle against Evenor is putting in all the effort they can to help the monastery recover.

Ansel: It truly is amazing how much we can accomplish when there are so many people working together.

Grey: We're certainly in better hands these days than we were before everyone else came to help us out.

Saias: We needed all the help we could get, and now that we've got it, things should look up significantly.

Magnus: We should set our attention on the next place for us to march then. We need to keep fighting even with the fall of the Empire.

Quinn: I agree. Argades being defeated does little to change the fact that Belenio and Tagusol are still at large.

Tsubasa: We should ask Lady Aisa for more information about what she knows since she claims to have fought the mastermind of Malice years ago.

Eli: I spoke with her before I came to this meeting, as a matter of fact. She says she has a suggestion for where we set our attention next.

Grey: Oh? You've got our attention there. Does she have a clue that could tip us in the direction of our current enemies?

Eli: She was trying to find Evenor for a brief while, and she found an abandoned building in the Empire that appears to be… Notable.

Magnus: I have a bad feeling about that. Anything relating to Evenor that could be considered 'notable' feels like a sign of disaster.

Eli: Lady Aisa seems to believe the building in question is hiding the people Evenor has come to experiment on since the war began.

Saias: Your bad feeling was certainly correct, Magnus… I guess we were right about one thing, as much as I hate to admit it.

Taiyin: Yeah. Evenor had the chance to experiment on a few more people while we were focused on the rest of the war.

Gabriel: So the best thing for us to do is to go and find that building to free the people she left behind.

Ansel: It bothers me just how many people Evenor left behind when she decided to continue her experiments… She just never stops.

Tsubasa: I don't know why we expected much of anything to stop with her. She never backs down when she's set her mind to something.

Quinn: At least we've found a way to stop her from continuing her work ever again… We shouldn't need to worry too much about this going forward.

Eli: The recent victims of experimentation need to be freed as soon as possible. They've suffered through more than enough.

Druilla: Beyond that, they should be able to offer us a bit of information about where we can find Belenio and Tagusol going forward.

Cyrus: If Evenor didn't say anything about them before she was defeated, then her last few contacts are the best people for us to turn to.

You say that Evenor told You something about Belenio and Tagusol.

Druilla: What? What in the world did you hear? Why didn't you say anything before now?

You tell her that Evenor was vague, only saying that she knew Belenio and Tagusol were planning something without sharing any details.

Eli: It doesn't surprise me that she held back on so many details, as much as I hate to admit it… She didn't want us to come close to finding the truth because she still thought her allies could win.

Ernst: It doesn't matter. We know of a place where she was recently, and the people there might be able to point us in the right direction to figure out where to go next.

Magnus: I agree. As long as we can set our sights there and get the information we need, it doesn't matter how vague she was in the time leading up to her death.

Gabriel: That settles it then. We should spend the rest of our time trying to help the monastery to recover in preparation for our next fight.

Taiyin: Okay then… That's something I can get behind. I'm still kind of anxious about all of this, but at least we're getting closer to the end of the war.

Tsubasa: Belenio and Tagusol appear to be the only major people involved with this conflict that we haven't seen defeated yet… So we are getting closer and closer to the end of this.

Saias: I can't wait for that day to finally come… But in the meantime, we can't get distracted as long as we have other work to do.

Ansel: I can speak with the newer arrivals at the monastery about everything they've managed to accomplish in terms of the cleaning process. How does that sound?

Grey: That's a perfect place to start. We can start passing around specific information about our plan as we get closer to the date of the attack.

Druilla: That settles that then… Though I would advise you all to be careful when it comes to what we may see there.

Cyrus: The aftermath of the experimentation… To call it horrible is an understatement. There are some things no human should ever have to see, and Evenor's work… That's one of them.

Quinn: We can check in with people along the way to ensure they are all taken care of as we get closer to the day of the mission. In the meantime, we should focus on the monastery's restoration process.

Eli: Agreed. I wish you all nothing but the best. And… Do what you can to stay safe no matter what that means to you personally. I'm counting on you.

You watch as the Ashen Wolves leave the room behind. You turn to face Eli and Quinn with a small frown, asking if they are afraid of what You are bound to find in the building where Evenor was conducting her recent experiments.

Eli: As much as I hate to admit it, I don't know if there's a way for me to not be afraid. I wanted to believe something like that would never happen again, but I know now that it's much too late for that.

Quinn: With Evenor's death, we were able to cut off the head of the operation. Hopefully, that will stop most others from deciding to follow in her footsteps.

Eli: I hope so, but there are still a lot of people who learned the art from her, and they'll do what they can to continue that work as long as they believe it will benefit them.

You tell them that You will do everything in your power to bring Evenor's other coworkers to justice once the war is over.

Quinn: I'm glad to hear it… Though we still have a ways to go before we can even consider tracking down her other accomplices. The end of the war has to be our first priority.

Eli: We can use that chance to reach out to the victims of experimentation scattered across the continent as well. I know I won't be able to erase the pain they went through, but we can at least set them up with adequate living conditions so that their lives are not constantly falling apart.

Quinn: It will be difficult to set up an initiative like that, but if anyone will be able to pull it off, I know for a fact that it would be you… And you'll have my help through it all no matter what.

Eli: Thank you, Quinn… It means a lot to hear you say that.

Quinn: For now though, we should come up with a plan for how we're going to strike at the building Evenor was using as her base at some point recently. I'm sure there are other guards there looking after the captives, and we need to be ready to face them.

Eli: You're right. We can leave the restoration effort to the rest of the army for now. Are you alright with helping the others, Professor?

You nod and say that You would be happy to.

Quinn: Good… You should set aside some time to visit Lady Aisa as well. I believe she said that she wanted to speak with you, though she didn't say anything about why. It would be best to ask her personally.

You tell her that You will go and see Aisa as soon as You get the chance.

Eli: Thank you. We'll speak with you again soon. Be safe, alright?

You nod once more and make your way back to your room. Seraphine speaks to You along the way.

Seraphine: Aisa wants to speak with you, huh…? I certainly didn't expect that.

You tell her that something must have happened to prompt this, though You are not sure of what it could be.

Seraphine: I'm not entirely sure either… But I guess the best thing we can do is try to learn the truth by reaching out to her ourselves. Eli and Quinn were right about that.

You tell Seraphine that You will find Aisa when You get the chance later in the day.

Seraphine: Of course. For now, we should check in on everyone else. I'm sure the newer arrivals would like to speak with us in a bit more detail about everything that happened before they arrived.

You nod and start to explore the monastery for the day. You begin by going to the Officers Academy, and You find the area bustling with your former students. First, You approach Florence in the courtyard.

Florence: It's nice to have everyone back here again after all this time… I don't know about you, but I never thought this was going to be possible given what happened five years ago. It's amazing… I'd definitely say this was worth the wait.

You see Nora in the Blue Lions' classroom.

Nora: Having so many people back in the monastery after all this time leaves me a bit nostalgic, I must admit. I know we can't go back to the way things were five years ago, but we can still step closer to it, and this… This is the closest we're going to get. I know it.

You also speak with Karim in the Blue Lions' classroom.

Karim: So, we're back to charging off against the forces of Malice again at the end of the month… I can't say I'm surprised. I had been hoping it would end when the Empire was taken out of the picture, but I guess I was a bit too optimistic. We'll just have to end things now, I suppose.

When You enter the Golden Deer classroom, You find Wollfgang speaking with a woman You do not recognize.

Wolfgang: Ah, Professor. I'm glad I caught you. I'd like to introduce you to my old friend, Calypso. She's going to be joining us from here on out.

Calypso: It's nice to meet you. Wolfgang has told me much about you.

Wolfgang: Calypso's going to be a massive help to us no matter what we come across next. I have nothing but complete confidence in her.

Calypso: I never knew you could be so much of a flatterer, Wolfgang. You must really want my attention today. Is that it?

Wolfgang: You know what? That's enough of that.

Calypso: You're so easy to tease. You honestly bring it on yourself.

Wolfgang: I somehow feel like this was a mistake.

Calypso: I had a feeling you would say something like that.

You make your way to the training hall next. Piers is standing outside the entrance to the training grounds.

Piers: There are still too many enemy forces at large for us to just rest now. It feels strange to take any sort of break when there's so much danger we need to eliminate from the world… Getting impatient about it won't help anyone, and I know that, but… I don't know. It's much easier said than done to push through.

Inside the training hall itself, You find Rodain.

Rodain: It's like the clock has turned itself back just for us… You know, while getting rid of all those pesky enemy forces who stood as a threat to the peace of the world five years ago. I would call this a massive improvement… Though we're not out of the woods yet. I'm ready to keep fighting though. You can always count on me, Professor.

You also speak with Yuliya here.

Yuliya: It's odd to think of how much changed with that one fight… We're no longer strapped for aid, and we have all the information we could possibly ask for… At least, for the most part. If the Battle of Garreg Mach wasn't already proof, everything can change with just one battle. It's a curious world we live in for better or worse.

Lastly, You encounter Tuncay.

Tuncay: It was a massive shock to me at first to learn that Chris was alive after all this time, but now… It makes a lot of sense. I should have known she wouldn't go down quite so easily to someone like Argades. I'm glad we don't need to worry about him attacking us anymore too… That rebellion really was a miracle on all fronts, and I couldn't be happier for it.

You make your way in the direction of the dorms. Along the way, You speak with Adeline.

Adeline: A lot is changing back home in the Alliance… Many nobles who decided to ally themselves with the apparent 'winning side' have been torn down, and that means new people must step up to take their places… We live in strange times, and change is around every corner. It's as exhilarating as it is terrifying, wouldn't you say?

You find Herwig standing just outside the sauna.

Herwig: All of the students from the final class at the Officers Academy are back here again at last… I never thought I would see the day. It's a step in the right direction though. I don't think I could have asked for a better outcome… Even if it took a long time to get here.

Near the dorms, You find Sofia speaking with a young man who bears a striking resemblance to her. You quickly assume that this is her younger brother, Conrad.

Sofia: Ah, Professor! I'm glad to see you. There's someone I'd like you to meet. This is Conrad.

Conrad: Hello, I suppose.

Sofia: He's my younger brother. Previously, he was living with our father in House Ruden, but now…

Conrad: …Things change, and I'm here now.

Sofia: I wanted him to stay with me throughout the rest of the war until we can figure out what to do once all of this is said and done, so he's joining us at the monastery. He's promised to cause as little trouble as possible too, so you don't need to worry about that.

Conrad: I don't think anyone was worried about that, Sofia.

Sofia: I have years worth of teasing to make up for. You shouldn't be surprised to hear that at all.

Conrad: Ugh…

You also find Adrian in this area.

Adrian: Luciana and I went to the Officers Academy together the year before you came to the monastery. We were in different houses, but we were in the same graduating class. I never thought I would see her again here of all places, but I'm not complaining. It's always nice to see an old friend again.

Nearby, You run into Luciana.

Luciana: Ah, Professor. Hello. I'm glad to be able to speak to you outside of combat. I've heard much of your skills, and I look forward to seeing them in action again. No matter what, my spear is yours to command. You have my undivided strength. I promise.

You go upstairs to the second floor of dorms. You see Aquillus in his room there.

Aquillus: My noble house has been torn to pieces compared to how it once stood… My parents are dead, and my siblings will need time to recover from what they have suffered through. Tch… At that point, it might just be best to tear it all down and not even bother to start again.

You also find Cassia in her room.

Cassia: It still amazes me to know that Lady Aisa is alive again after all this time… Everyone was under the impression she had died in the battle five years ago, but here she is. Captain Torryn never gave up on her. We have her to thank for bringing Lady Aisa back to us. I don't think any of us could ever say that enough.

Lastly, You speak with Cedric in the hallway.

Cedric: If I'm being honest, I'm afraid of what we're going to find in this upcoming battle… If Evenor was there, then she could have easily hurt even more people… She'll never be able to do it again now that she's gone, but… We still need to grapple with the aftermath of her life even after her death.

You go back downstairs and set your sights on the greenhouse. Inside, You speak with Grey.

Grey: To be honest, I'm completely exhausted… The longer the war goes on, the worse I seem to feel. I know others feel the same way, so I can't let that hold me back too much. If I get too caught up in my own negativity, I'll never get anything done. I'm just going to focus on what's happening next… Saving the people Evenor left behind. That's what matters most.

You also encounter Nesreen in the greenhouse.

Nesreen: Seeing Lady Aisa back here alive and well again doesn't even feel real… I believed she was alive all these years, but believing that and seeing her for myself are two entirely different things. I'm glad I was given the chance to see her again though… I owe her a lot, and I intend to tell her now that I have the chance.

You make for the fishing hole next. You speak with Wynne upon arriving.

Wynne: It's nice to kick back and relax for a while, isn't it? I know there's not all that much for us to do to relax given that we're still fighting a war, but I'm still trying to make the most of it. For right now, that means enjoying the fishing hole. It's not much, but I think we've all deserved at least a bit of time to ourselves. I just hope everyone else agrees with me.

You also find Hegias here.

Hegias: No matter how many times I tell myself that Evenor is gone, I can't ever bring myself to believe it… I suppose I had still been holding onto the hope that she would change her mind again without even realizing that was what I had been doing. I knew she wasn't going to side with us again after initially betraying us, but… I don't know. I was hoping for it. Now though… There's nothing to hope for. She's gone. I knew it was going to end in her death one way or another, but it still stings. Grief tastes a lot darker than I ever imagined…

You speak with Falon next.

Falon: Now that we're getting closer to the end of the war, I can only hope things begin to wind down. Magnolia was forced to deal with a lot of assassination attempts in Fhirdiad, and none of us wants that to repeat if it can be avoided… We'll just have to wait and see, I guess, though patience is much easier said than done to exercise right now.

You make your way into the dining hall. Inside, You find Aestlyn sitting at one of the tables.

Aestlyn: I can't stop thinking about the people we're bound to find when we go to free the hostages Evenor left behind… I already know I'm not going to like what we see. We fought against the victims of her human experimentation five years ago, and that… That's a sight I'll never forget no matter how much I wish I could.

You also see Callisto standing in the dining hall.

Callisto: It feels great to know Argades isn't sitting on the throne anymore. I was worried for a while there that we would never be able to get rid of him, but here we are. I guess that's what I get for jumping to conclusions. It'll always be possible to change things. You just have to go out there and make sure things shift for yourself.

Lastly, You approach Reese here.

Reese: My younger sister is staying in Fhirdiad… She was freed from our uncle's estate by Magnolia, and now, she's waiting for the war to end. It's been a long time since I last saw her… But I want to do what I can to rebuild that relationship. She may not remember me, but I remember her, and… This is the least I can offer her after all that happened.

You go to the marketplace. There, You approach Kyle.

Kyle: It's nice to see the monastery bustling and lively like this again. When those bandits moved in, I never thought we would get back to this, but here we are. It really does bring a smile to my face… Though I wish we didn't have to see all of this in times of war.

You also find William here.

William: It's funny… You never realize just how much you miss something until you get a taste of it again. Now that I'm back here, I miss my student days more than anything… But I know I can't go back to them. Too much has changed, and I know that… But it would be nice to visit that nostalgia again, don't you think?

Your next destination is the stables. You see Lev tending to the animals there.

Lev: I still can't believe we don't need to worry about marching on the Empire anymore… Everyone was gearing themselves up for a massive battle to take Argades off the throne, but we don't need to do that now. It's great, don't get me wrong, but… It leaves a lot on my mind, to say the least.

You also speak with Miriam in the stables.

Miriam: I have to wonder what will come of Lady Aisa's return… Her time away has changed Fódlan, and she needs to face those changed opinions whether she wants to or not. I can't say I understand her reasoning for leaving, but I don't think I'm meant to either. Whatever she does next is her decision… Though I wish it didn't have to influence so many people along the way.

You go to the knights' hall from there. You find Kaeta standing inside.

Kaeta: It's so great to have everyone back here again! I can't seem to stop smiling no matter how hard I try! It's amazing to see Captain Torryn again too… She seems so much happier now that Lady Aisa is back. I haven't seen her this relaxed in years. It's a breath of fresh air for everyone involved if you ask me.

You also find Cordelia in the area.

Cordelia: It took a long time and a lot of searching for me to figure out where Lady Aisa had disappeared to. She was intent on keeping herself hidden from the war as long as she possibly could… Of course, she couldn't escape forever, and the fact that she's here now is proof of that. I'm going to make sure she stays here too… I won't let the last five years of aimless wandering repeat again. I promise.

You move to the entrance hall from there. Inside, You speak with Derric.

Derric: The arrival of our reinforcements has done a lot to raise morale… It's amazing to see the difference honestly. The defeat of the Empire is helping everyone too. It's so strange how quickly everything can change… But I think this is a change for the better in every way you could imagine.

You approach Zelhira next where she is speaking with Liram.

Zelhira: I'm glad I finally have the chance to do this… Professor, this is my adoptive father, Liram von Schlarzer. He's going to be joining us from here on out.

Liram: Ah, the famous professor… I was wondering when I would be able to meet you. It's a pleasure to finally have the opportunity.

Zelhira: He's been helping out with the rebellion in the Empire recently, but now, he's going to be helping us with everything here.

Liram: I look forward to fighting at your side. I've heard many great things about you.

Zelhira: We'll both give you everything we've got. I promise.

You find Illona there last but not least.

Illona: I know this is going to sound a bit pessimistic, but I don't think the human experimentation is really going to end now that Evenor is gone… I really want to believe that, don't get me wrong, but… There are others out there who she taught the craft. They can pass on that information still. Getting rid of it in full won't be easy, but I guess that's something for us to take on after the war ends, huh?

You move to the reception hall next. There, You speak with Magnus.

Magnus: I hope Evenor left behind at least one clue for us to follow… I understand she doesn't want to let information like that fall into the hands of the enemy, but it would still do us a massive favor if she was kind enough to let us find the truth so easily… I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. I wish I was more patient by nature…

You also find Saias here.

Saias: It's kind of anticlimactic to think that we're not going to need to go to the Empire after all… I wouldn't say I was looking forward to starting a war there, but I had resigned myself to it, and now… It's not happening. This is definitely for the best, but it's still odd to think about.

Next, You approach Polly and Morgana.

Polly: Might I have a moment of your time, Professor? There's someone I'd like you to meet.

Morgana: Um… Hello.

Polly: This is my older sister, Morgana. She's going to be fighting with us from here on out.

Morgana: It's nice to finally meet you.

Polly: She helped out a lot with the rebellion in the Empire… And with taking care of a certain worm who all of us came to despise five years ago.

Morgana: Our brother is well and truly out of the picture now. I don't know if you were worried about him making a return, but you don't need to think about it now. He's gone.

Polly: And we'll use the new strength we have now that he's dead to fight to the end of the war. You can count on us no matter what happens.

Lastly, You speak with Gabriel.

Gabriel: Hearing that the rebellion forces in the Empire were able to take out Bazler months ago still brings me such overwhelming relief… I was afraid I would be living in his shadow forever with no way to escape it, but here I am. It's amazing, truly… I don't think I've ever been happier. I just hope this continues until the end of the war.

On the bridge to the cathedral, You find Taiyin.

Taiyin: It's nice to see the monastery so lively again. I didn't want to say anything that would put others in a bad mood or diminish our progress, but… It's a lot better around here when there are a lot of people to speak to. It's going to take some getting used to now that everyone is back, but I'm enjoying it, and I know others are too.

In the cathedral, You speak with Raithius.

Raithius: It really is nostalgic to be back in the monastery after all this time… In a way, it's like I'm being taken right back to my good old student days… I mean, it's hard for them to have really been that good when they were a warning of upcoming war, but it was still nicer than this. It's strange how nostalgia works that way, huh?

You find Novalee standing nearby.

Novalee: It took a long time for me and Raithius to fully clear out the rot that had found its way into the Alliance… Acting against your enemy is much easier said than done when so many people in the roundtable are working against you. Still, we've resolved the issue for the most part now. I have no idea what will come of this next, but we'll get there in time. For now, we have other matters to focus on, and you have my full attention until this side of the war has ended.

You approach Niko next.

Niko: Oh, it's great to see everyone again… I feel like a massive weight has been lifted off my chest. No matter how many times I tell myself that everything is back to the way it should be, I never seem to believe it… But I think I really should. After all, this is something worth living for. I adore it.

You find Magnolia in the area as well.

Magnolia: I've heard about everything you and the rest of your forces did to help me a few moons ago… Thank you. I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you enough. I've learned to deal with combat and assassination attempts both on and off the battlefield, but it always finds new ways to be frustrating. Thank you for taking that extra weight off my plate even if just for a little while. It means a lot to me.

Lastly, You speak with Cyrus.

Cyrus: I can certainly see why everyone enjoyed the old times of the monastery so much… It's great to see so many people happy and socializing even in the middle of the war. I wish I could have seen everything when it was still like this five years ago… But I guess it's far too late for that now, huh?

With your rounds of the monastery's main floor finished, You descend into Abyss. You see Roy not far from the entrance of the underground city.

Roy: Abyss has been doing surprisingly well for itself in the last five years… I wish the people hadn't been forced to fend for themselves that way though, so I'm doing what I can to help out. It's not much since it's coming too late but it's at least something, so I'll do it.

You approach Ernst in the library.

Ernst: I've been doing as much research as I can about Shambhala… I believe we'll need to lead an attack there if we want to end the war. Unfortunately, most literature about it was destroyed at some point, leaving us in a bit of a tough spot… I wonder how far we'll need to go in order to uncover the truth that will finally end all of this… I'm not looking forward to it no matter where it leads us though.

You also speak with Ansel in the library.

Ansel: As much as I enjoy having so many people back in the monastery, that also means things are a lot noisier than I'm used to. I'm going to enjoy a bit of quiet time down here before I go back to helping our guests out. They need it, as far as I can tell, and I know better than to be a poor host. Who would I be if I didn't do something to help them through their current confines of adjustment, hm?

You find Tsubasa in the Wilting Rose Inn.

Tsubasa: Now that we have so many royals hanging out at the monastery, the tavern down here has all sorts of good spirits again. I've been having a lot of bottom of the barrel stuff recently since that's about all we could get our hands on, but this… Oh, this is incredible. I'm going to enjoy this for as long as I possibly can. I think I've more than earned it.

You see Druilla in the Ashen Wolves' classroom.

Druilla: I have to wonder what it would have been like to be a student here at the Officers Academy… It's so exclusive though, and very few people are given the chance to understand how great an honor it is to be here. I suppose that's why the Ashen Wolves were formed. It's as good a starting point as any for evening the playing field, I suppose.

On the second floor of the monastery, You see Jill standing in the hallway.

Jill: Lady Aisa is in the infirmary at the moment. I think you're going to like what she has in store for you there… She's been looking forward to talking to you about it, not that she's said it out loud. You should pay her a visit while you're here. I know she would appreciate it.

You enter the infirmary and see Aisa standing near one of the beds. Janae lays under the covers. Note: this conversation will play out at the end of the exploration day if the player does not deliberately trigger it.

Aisa: Ah, Professor… I am glad to see you. There is something I would like to show you.

You look down to the infirmary bed and see Janae. Your eyes go wide on the spot.

Aisa: I have been caring for her ever since she was attacked by Evenor all those years ago… I did my best to continue looking after her even after the monastery fell, and I brought her with me in my travels.

You thank her for all that she has done.

Aisa: You have no reason to thank me. I am doing what any person would in my position.

You say that it still means a lot to You.

Aisa: I wish I could have done more… She is not yet awake, and she has shown no signs of awakening for quite some time.

You ask if she believes it will happen soon.

Aisa: I do. I am sure that she will come to in time. It may take a while, but I have faith that she will return to us again soon.

You nod, saying that You are glad to hear that.

Aisa: I knew you would be… Until I can say with certainty that she is alright, I will continue to look after her. I can only hope that it is enough to aid her in her hour of need.

You thank her for everything once again.

Aisa: Of course… I would simply ask that you do all in your power to remain safe until she awakens. I doubt she would be happy if she woke up and found that you were unable to speak with her.

You nod and tell her that You will be alright no matter what.

Aisa: Good… I will tell you as soon as something changes here. I promise.

You thank her once again and leave the infirmary behind.

You see Chris standing in the commons room.

Chris: It's nice to be back in the monastery again after all this time… I didn't realize just how much I missed it until I took a look around and noticed just how much had changed since I was last here. You and the Ashen Wolves have done good work here. You shouldn't let yourselves forget that no matter what.

Last but not least, You enter the cardinals' room and see Eli and Quinn speaking with one another.

Eli: I pray that the search for Shambhala makes some degree of progress soon…

Quinn: It has to. If we can't find anything before we set out on our mission, we should be able to count on finding at least something in Evenor's abandoned facility.

Eli: We think that, but it's difficult to say when it comes to her… She always seems to find a new way to catch us by surprise these days.

Quinn: You're right about that… But stressing ourselves about it to such an extent isn't going to help anyone. Be patient, okay?

Eli: Alright… It's much easier said than done, but I'll do my best.

With your rounds of the monastery finished for the day, You return to your room to rest.

Seraphine: I still can't believe it… Everyone is back at the monastery, and on top of that, Janae was with Aisa all this time. It really seems like everything is going to be okay.

You nod, saying that You are looking forward to Janae awakening.

Seraphine: Aisa seems fairly certain she'll return to us soon… I can only hope that she's right. I don't know what I would do if that wasn't true.

You tell her that You will hold on no matter what it takes so that You can speak with Janae once again.

Seraphine: I know… But first, we need to reach that point, and we need to be patient. Right now, that means resting.

You nod and settle down for the night.

Seraphine: It really is a miracle… And I never thought those existed until now.

You lay down and ease yourself into slumber. When sleep takes You, it provides You with images of Janae awake and well once again. You can only wait until the proper moment arrives though, and You pray that it comes soon with everything that You have…
