A/N: Oh, hi. So I know I should be working on my other fics, but here is a sample one shot of the Hevans fic I plan to write when I finish Don't Leave Me Here Alone (which won't be for a while in case you started to spaz or something). Reviews are always loved!

Just Say Yes

When Kurt Hummel was seventeen years old, he often sculpted a picture of the man he would marry in his mind. He always pictured the person to be successful, tall, somewhat nerdy, someone with impeccable fashion sense, and someone he knew he would spend the rest of his life with. He often thought of what it would feel like to be held by this man, what it would feel like to be loved.

He never actually thought that his dreams would become a reality, but as he lay across from his fiancé in their shared apartment in their shared bedroom in their shared bed, he was so happy that they all had. Except for the somewhat nerdy part. Sure, Samuel Evans was nerdy, but definitely not only somewhat.

"Kurt, what're you thinking about?" the blonde asked, concern tingeing his voice. Kurt realized at the moment that he had been staring into Sam's green eyes for longer than what should be considered normal.

He giggled and pressed his lips to his fiancé's forehead before responding, "Oh, it's nothing, love. I was just remembering how it all started."

Sam was now confused, "How what began, babe?"

Kurt smirked, "How we began."

Sam hummed, "Now that's a story they could make into a movie. I bet it would be better than anything Nicholas Sparks could come up with."

Kurt gasped in horror, "Nicholas Sparks is a genius! You take that back right now!"

The blonde shook with laughter and pulled his fiancé close to his chest. "Not until you admit that Avatar Two was just as good as the first one."

Kurt flashed his fierce blue eyes at Sam and rolled them. "The sequel is never as good as the original. I have to admit, though, you did quite a good job at converting me to nerd-ism. I think I'm starting to pick some Na'avi. Should I be worried?"

The blonde just smiled in response, "Kurt?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"I know, Sam."

Sam laughed, "And Kurt?"

"Yes, Samuel?"

"You just referenced Star Wars."

"So I guess that makes you Leia."

Sam laughed and wrapped his arms around his fiancé, "Fine. But only if you're Han Solo."

Kurt kissed the endearing blonde's forehead softly. "You know I wouldn't have it any other way."
