It's still dark out as Teacup and I wait for Adrien to pick me up with the car so we can head to the airport. Even though I'm still half-asleep, I'm very excited. Teacup helped me pack last night, and I was so grateful as I always have trouble knowing what to bring.

"What are you hoping to accomplish in New York, Marinette?" she asks. "I'm only going for a fashion show," I say, looking at her. "Didn't you tell me you had a slight hiccup the last time you were on a runway?" Oh, I see what she's getting at. "If you mean working on my confidence, yes, I do plan to work on it. Cat Noir can't always be in the rafters cheering me on." "Marinette, will you do me a favor while your there?" If she didn't sound so serious, I would told her of course I'd bring her back a souvenir.

"What is it?" "Do everything Adrien tells you to do, and take care of each other. New York is a big place and it can be overwhelming, both emotionally and physically." I nod. "I promise." "Good. Look, here comes the car. Take care, Marinette. Call me if you need anything."

I hug her tightly. In just these short few weeks, she has become one of my closest friends, and not just because she knows I'm Ladybug. She cares about me for me. "I will."

Adrien ordered a limo for us to take us to the airport, and even though I said a taxi would be fine, he told me it would be nice to have some privacy. I realize now that if I started snoring in the back of a taxi, the only person I want to hear that is Adrien.

I look back at Teacup, waving at me, then climb into the car. The windows are tinted, and the seats are plush. A small fridge sits in the middle of the consul. But what I'm most happy to see is Adrien, looking hot in a suit.

"Hey, you look nice," I compliment him after clicking my seat belt and giving him a hug. "I figured dressing up would be appropriate since Anya is meeting us at the airport. I'm sure the cameras will be waiting too," he tells me as he adjusts his tie. "Whoever there, we'll be together," I say, giving him a hug.

"Marinette," Adrien whispers, and he leans forward, pushing the privacy window up. "I know its early, Adrien, but I'm going to wait to sleep on the plane," I tease. "I was hoping you'd sit on my lap, actually. Keep me calm?" He unbuckles my seat belt, pulling me into his lap before I can say anything.

"Would you like a good morning, kiss?" I ask. Adrien smiles. "I didn't think you did anything before morning coffee." "Just watch me. How long to the airport?" "Awhile. Why?" "No reason. Just relax."

I lean forward giving him a sweet kiss but my hands are busy. I loosen his tie and begin to work at the buttons. "As much as I like where this is going, your undoing all my hard work this morning." My hands stop. "You can't be serious." "Kidding." Adrien helps me out of his suit, and I run my hands down that powerful chest I'm learning to love so much. "You hot?" he asks, shifting in his seat. I raise my eyebrow. "Not to sound conceited, but don't you already know the answer to that question?" "Hmm, I'm getting to know even more about you, love. I've learned you can be sassy even without coffee. Let me see if there's any drinks in the fridge."

Adrien opens what seems to be the fridge, only to find its the freezer instead and takes out a small cup of ice cream. "Perfect! This will cool me down!" "Adrien, you can't eat ice cream for breakfast!" "Why not? Its not like I'll get my clothes dirty." He pops the spoon off the top, and begins to eat. I have to admit, it does look kinda good. "At least save me some! Your putting that away like no tomorrow!"

I reach for it, but Adrien puts it out my reach. "No. Mine." "Adrien!" I laugh, and we both start giggling as he plays keep away with me. Some of it splashes on his chest. "How did I know that was going to happen?" I smile. "Oh, its cold! So very cold" Adrien sings, squirming around. "Ha, serves you right for not sharing."

Its sticky and dripping. Suddenly, I have an idea. "So, you know how cats like cream? Well, here's my attempt at being a cat having a little treat."

I begin to lick Adrien's chest, lapping at the ice cream. The taste of sweat and salt is delicious and so hot. Adrien leans his head back against the seat, giving little sounds of pleasure.

"Ten minutes till the airport, Mr. Agreste," comes over the little intercom. Adrien sits up. "Thank you." "You could be a cat, Marinette. Cause I was purring with pleasure." I blush hard, as he takes some wet wipes as he shrugs back on his suit so it won't get sticky.

The sun is just rising as we exit the car, and Adrien turns to me. "Its going to be pretty crowded in there, and I want to hold your hand so we don't get separated. You okay with that?" "Yes."

He takes my hand and this time it doesn't tremble, but the grips the firm fingers firmly so I don't get lost in the crowd. To me, the airport is a maze you could easily get lost in, but Adrien handles this all his life, and then I realize he probably has.

Adrien buys me a bagel and a coffee as we wait for our boarding call, but instructs me to wait to eat until takeoff. "Chewing will help with the air pressure," he says, as we sip our drinks. We don't have to wait long as soon we've joined the queue. The flight attendants greet us, and direct us to our seats.

Finally, we flop down in our seats and I breath a sigh of relief. "As soon as we're in the air, I'd like to get some more sleep," he says. I am struggling to keep my eyes open, and I lean against him as we wait.

I eat my bagel slowly as we rise into the air, and after I finish my little breakfast I fall fast asleep.

Adrien nudges me mid morning as come with little menus for lunch. We order little sliders and fries, and my goodness is the food delicious!

It doesn't feel long at all as we touchdown in New York City, and again Adrien helps me through the maze. We scan the crowd looking for Anya, who is supposed to meet us here. "Adrien! Marinette!" Anya waves her arms and we hurry over to her. "Welcome to America, my dears and to the city that never sleeps!" "Uh-oh, Marinette won't like that. She loves to sleep," Adrien jokes with affection.

The traffic is so much busy here then in Paris, and I smile to myself as I could have been relaxing by the pool by now, if I was in my suit. Once we reach the hotel, we all check in, and Anya tells us to meet down here in a half hour after we've had some time to unpack and freshen up.

Adrien and I find that our rooms connect, and I'm very glad about that as I'll be needing some help in the morning.

After putting my things away, I meet Adrien at the elevator. Its dark as we slowly descend. "Shouldn't we be going faster?" I ask, my heart thudding in my ears. I'm scared its going to stop with us stuck in here. "This is an old hotel, Marinette. Don't worry, we'll get down there eventually. Come here, and I'll see if I can calm you down."

I stand in front of him, as he rubs my back, and I soon forget the elevator ride, so good do his hands feel against my back. Suddenly, his hands move lower, past my waist and onto my jeans. My breath hitches as he rubs little circles, gently at first, then more aggressive. "What...are...you...doing…?" I ask, breathlessly. "Payback for the ice cream," he whispers in my ear, a smile in his voice. "I'm not a ball of dough to knead, Agreste." "Oh? I thought otherwise from the little sounds your making." He doesn't stop but only for a moment as he presses a button and the elevator glides to stop. He backs me against the door. "People may try to make a pass at you, love. But your mine, understood?" I nod.

"Good."

When we reach the lobby, Anya is staring worriedly at her phone. "Thank goodness! I was starting to worry." "I'm stayed here before," Adrien assures her. "The elevator is just slow, that's all."

Anya gives us the itinerary for the morning, we'll have breakfast in the hotel restaurant, then a car will take us to the show to get ready. "Tomorrow will only be a practice, and in the afternoon I have a surprise." She stands, packing away her papers. "Enjoy your evening!"

"You want to eat in the restaurant, or order room service?" "Room service," I answer, my head spinning. As we're crossing the to the bank of elevators, Adrien gets stopped, some tourists asking for his autograph. He smiles politely, as I know that's one part of being famous that he hates.

Its so good to flop down on the comfy bed and order nachos and strawberry lemonade. After, we kiss for awhile, until its time to go to bed.

"Good night," Adrien smiles at me, giving me a sweet little kiss. Even after he leaves, I'm restless and cannot sleep.

I roll out of bed, and head over to the window, gazing out at the city. I quickly change back into my clothes, thinking I'll do a lap around the hotel.

I now regret not leaving Adrien a note telling him where I was going.
