Chapter 5: Pieces and Teaming up

Just by the gang had nevermore on their tail as they still on the run towards the ruins then they took cover from nevermore sight behind pillars of the ruins then the nevermore let out screeching roar.

"Well then...this is just great" yang said.

"One way out..." zen added.

As the gang prepared themselves to move as on the corner of alne's eyes she saw the deathstalker burst out from the forest.

"Ah crap! Time to go!" alne yelled as the others burst into sprint.

"Go,go,go!" zen yelled.

The nevermore lets out screeching roar as the fly then firing feathers projectiles towards them as deathstalker charged forward.

"Nora,distract it" ren said as he catched up with the others.

Nora sprints on the other way as dodged the incoming projectile as she unfolded her weapon 'maghild' into grenade launcher as she fired towards nevermore to cause an distraction.

On the bridge as pyrrha open fire to the deathstalker to cover the way so does zen.

"Jaune,i got you!" pyrrha said.

"This fishsticks doesnt know to give,eh?" zen added as he takes out his dual high impact blast revolver 'Emperor' and 'Móira' then fired the creature.

Then the gang begin sprinting again as nevermore flew towards the bridge as destroying the bridge as zen jumped on nevermore head as he switched his prosthesis arm into 'Punchline' which can give impact of bone breaking as zen punched without mercy on nevermore skull.

On the other side of the bridge pyrrha,ren,blake with charles and alne helped fight deathstalker as on zen diane side with R.W.Y is against nevermore.

"Great,how are we supposed to get there?" jaune asked.

"Lets go" nora beamed.

"Yeah...uh...how are we supposed to cross the bridge?" jaune said as he saw nora grinning then got pushed by nora as she changed her grenade launcher into hammer.

"No,no,no,no...wait!" nora already nailed the platform as launched jaune and herself to the other side of the bridge then they against deathstalker.

As reaching other side of the bridge nora smashed her hammer on the deathstalker, Then deathstalker counterattack using its stinger making nora jumped back making her knocked blake fell on edge of the cliff.

Blake on the other hand, saw nevermore that is blasted from zen's punched on the nevermore skull then she fired her gambol shroud in hook mode look like as she swings herself throughout while the nevermore tried to eat her as leaving a shadow clone of herself as she jumped onto nevermore that zen still punched the skull of nevermore then she begin slashing the nevermore. Just by zen and blake double attack the nevermore,they jumped then landed then both of them begin sprinting.

"Yang!" blake yelled.

"Hi again!" yang jumped from the pillars to nevermore mouth as she firing few blast onto the creature throat making the creature loses balance then crashed on the cliff then yang landed with the others.

On the other side of the bridge,Charles and alne along with jnpr fighting deathstalker.

"Graahh! TAKE THIS!" alne yelled as she striking the armoured scorpion but no succeed.

"We have to find its weakness..." charles said as the others agreed.

"Let me try!" jaune said as he rushed forward towards the deathstalker as his sheild activates.

"Jaune!" pyrrha yelled as she also rush forward.

Without forming a strategy jaune blocked deathstalker pincers then pyrrha joined in follow by ren,nora,alne and charles. Ren climbed up towards deathstalker tail as he firing it. Nora reformed her hammer into grenade launcher as charles and alne slice clean its glowing red eyes as the creatures roaring in pain. Just then,ren got thrown towards the wall.

"Ren!" nora yelled.

Then deathstalker tried to swing its tail but only found passing through which makes jaune to noticed it then he managed to find a way to defeat it.

"Pyrrha,Alne...the tail!" jaune yelled.

"Got it" alne and pyrrha replied as pyrrha throws her sheild while alne fired shot from her retractable claw with shotgun. Then deathstalker stinger landed on the creature head.

"Nora,its your turn!" jaune said.

"Ready for boost?" charles asked nora.

"Lets break some legs" nora beamed.

Then charles makes his dual disc goes larger as boosted nora high in the sky. Nora fired her hammer to boosted her then finishing 'helmet breaker' straight towards deathstalker as smashing its head then the creature let out dying roar then dissolve into ashes.

Back to Z.D R.W.B.Y who is forming strategy to defeat nevermore as weiss dashed forward as she used her ice dust to freeze the nevermore to prevent it from escaping then regroup back with the others as on the other hand with blake ontop of the pillars the fired towards yang on the other pillar then ruby jumped on the middle of the slingshot plan attack as weiss used her glyph as the glyph colour changed to black react as the launcher.

"Alright its all set" zen said.

"Go for it,girl!" diane beamed.

"I knew you would come with this plan" weiss added.

"I show you what im really capable of and i want prove myself till you gave me a second chance" ruby replied as readied to get launched.

Weiss smiled. "I know you will".

Without words nevermore let out loud screeching roar as trying to escape.

"Anytime now!" blake yelled.

"Ruby!" yang said.

"Okay,weiss...here we go!" ruby said as she clocking her sniper scythe.

"Brace yourself" weiss said as she unfolded her glyph into red then launched ruby towards the nevermore.

Ruby let out few blast shots to boost her speed towards nevermore as the nevermore managed to break free from the iceberg as ruby managed to caught nevermore neck with her scythe.

Then weiss perfom few glyphs along the trail upwards the cliff. Ruby on the other hand clocking her sniper scythe once again then rush upwards while dragging nevermore upwards with few blast shots and managed to eliminate the creature by decapatitate it as ruby landed on top of the cliff then she turns around with a smile on her face.

"Yeah!" yang cheered.

Few moments later

Z.D.A.C/R.W.B.Y/J.N.P.R managed to return back to beacon cliff while they were chatting.

"Man,you guys are so cool back there" jaune said to ruby.

"Oh,its nothing...without kuro's help we would be toast" ruby replied.

"Yeah,did you guys saw that zen really punched the nevermore? i really wonder if i need some robot arm to increased strike" nora beamed.

"Nora,you dont have to go that far..." ren said.

Zen just let out a chuckle.

"Russel Thrush,Cardin Winchester,Dove Bronzewing Sky Lark...4 of you retrived black Bishop pieces. From now on,you will work together as Team CDRL(Cardinal) lead by Cardin winchester" professor ozpin said.

The team cdrl get down from the stage then jaune and his fellas went onto stage.

"Jaune Arc,Lie Ren,Pyrrha Nikos Nora Valkyrie...4 of you retrieved white Rook pieces. On this day,4 of you will be known as Team JNPR(Juniper) and will be lead by Jaune arc"

"H-huh? me?" jaune pointed at himself.

"Congratulations,young man" professor ozpin said.

Pyrrha gave gentle punch on jaune shoulder. "Told you will be great leader"

"O-ow...heheh,you're right..." jaune replied as he rubbed his shoulder.

Then team jnpr get down from stage then ruby,weiss,blake yang went into stage.

"And Blake Belladonna,Ruby Rose,Weiss Schnee Yang Xiao Long...4 of you had retrieved white Knight pieces. And 4 of you will be working together as Team RWBY(Ruby) will be led by ruby rose" professor ozpin said.

This makes ruby is shocked and speechless then yang hugged her sister.

"Im so proud of you my little sis!" yang cheered.

With that,Team rwby get down from stage.

"And lastly,This 4 brave young managed to give an inspiration to be a great huntsman and huntress in the future,4 of you may get on the stage,please?" professor ozpin said.

Then...Zen,Diane,Alne charles gets on the stage.

"Zen Exia,Diane Shizukagi,Alne Wolvis Charles Donwa...managed to retrieved white King pieces...they also helped team rwby and juniper take down a grimn" professor ozpin said as he showed a playback recording of zdac devided in 2 group to helped team rwby and jnpr taking nevermore deathstalker.

With this all of students were impressed by their action of heroic and saviour.

"From this forth,these 4 will be known as Team ZDAC(Zodiac)" professor ozpin said then all of the students cheering.

Diane placed her hand on zen's shoulder. "Hope you can guide your teammates well,leader"

"Pleasure working with you,leader" charles said with smile as adjusting his glasses.

Yeah,leader!" alne beamed.

Zen let out chuckle. "Good to work together as a team"

Professor ozpin just let out a smile. (He is just like you,kenji...) "This is gonna be an interesting year"
