Nothing could prepare them for what was about to come
The sight they were Immediately greeted with made all their hearts drop as suddenly they all let their guard down and it showed on how their held their weapons and went wide eyed when they laid their eyes upon the Mad Titan himself
Even on the giant deathly throne of his he looked gigantic maybe 9 feet by Pym's calculations and it only made him gulp more shown by the fear in his powers as they began to dull out
The Mad Titan wore a giant golden crown above his head and a large white beard showing he was well past his prime. And if that didn't give it away then the wrinkles and slouched position within the chair sure did
And truly on paper no one would see him as much of a threat as he once was
That would be if within the hold of his left hand displayed the Infinity Gauntlet itself making everyone damn near quake in their pants
Everyone looked at one another in silence not moving or knowing what to say about what they were seeing. Manly because they were petrified with fear
It wasn't until Torunn had took her singular first step that a giant pitcher of red smoke surrounded them before soon enough chains wrapped around all 5 of their necks and pulled them up in the air making them all drop their weapons
Immediately they all struggled to get free, grabbing their necks trying to take the chains off with no budge as they kicked their feet feeling the oxygen being pulled from their necks
Raising her hand Torunn had Torunn's sword had flown into her hand before she aggressively swung her sword snapping the chain in half setting her free as she dropped to the ground
Pym had shrunk down and escaped while Azari had quickly grabbed the metal chain and used his black light to summon a lighting panther to snap the chain in half freeing him
Getting two arrow's from his quiver Francis had tossed one to James before synced movement placed the arrow on the metal chain. The Chain began to melt away as it was an acid arrow before soon enough the two boys were free leaving the 5 heroes to let out gasps and coughs
"COUGH….COUGH….You…mistaken our interruption for something else…..we aren't here to….pick a fight…." Azari began letting out a loose flurry of coughs because those chains were way too tight
Nodding his head Pym showed his agreement as he clung to his neck
"Yeah…we….only need your help"
"COUGH…Not even your help. We need something of yours" Francis said with a hand to his neck
While everyone attempted to catch their breaths for the first time in what seemed to be centuries, Thanos from his throne let out a low grumble before slowly but surely began to raise his hand. The same hand that held the infinity gauntlet
Everyone's heart feel to their ass wondering just what the hell he could stir next for them to suffer through thinking if they could even fight back
But all he did was point directly at James before mumbling the words
"Here…boy….."
His voice was so old yet so ancient. As if he was a talking Thesaurus. This wasn't the Thanos they read about in the Data Books
Everyone looked at James and even him himself regretted for a moment being the leader of this team not moving as he was still with fear but Thanos didn't led up
"NOW !" he suddenly yelled before blue bindings were wrapped around James's holding him tightly as he was suddenly yanked towards Thanos
Everyone gasped calling after their great leader and even attempting to chase after him but a purple wave of energy was directed towards them knocking them back before the same blue bindings kept them to the ground
Looking at the shield in James's hand before staring face to face with his sea blue eyes James only stared back at the large deviant. His eyes were dark. Black and soulless like he was looking into the pitch black eyes of death themselves
It made him feel even more hesitant and of what was yet to come but he only kept a straight face not backing down to the Mad Titan
"You and your friends….come to my Ship…..and demand from me" Thanos mumbled like the old man he was
Clutching his shield tightly James stayed up in the air by the bindings that held him
"We mean no harm or disrespect. We just need something of yours. And preferably sooner rather than later as were on a bit of a time crunch"
"And what is it that you speak…."Thanos said and seeing as this was his reaction to just meeting them everyone was more or sent hesitant to see what his reaction would be to what James said next
"We need the Gauntlet"
When the heavy paused occurred everyone held their breaths to see what his answer would be
James even more was hesitant to let out a breath as he just looked at his even knowingly shocked expression that someone would even consider asking that
This must've been the first time in decades that The Mad Titan himself made a different facial expression as almost immediately the blue bindings were lifted off everyone but James as Thanos began to Laugh

He was laughing
HE WAS LAUGHING !
Francis and Pym shared a confusing look to one another as James was only left mere inches away from his face taking in his loud booming laughter confused on what was so funny ?
It was more so awkward to be so up close to The Mad Titan's thundering laugh but he was still alive so he couldn't complain
"Ohh boy…I haven't had a laugh like that in a while" Thanos stated before the Space Stone within his gauntlet shined bright once more wrapping around James tightly making him groan
Letting out one more loose chuckle Thanos sighed
"Thank you for that boy…heh, alright now I can kill you" he said before the bindings began to tighten around James crushing him deeply
"GAHHHH !"
Grabbing her sword Torunn Immediately leaped into action wasting no time to strike the Mad Titan Down but right as she was in the middle of the air a wave another wave of purple energy struck her down forcing her to hit a nearby wall molding her into it
Extending his pointer and middle finger out black lighting shot from Azari's finger tips towards Thanos only for a small portal to be opened up and shot back towards Francis making him yell in pain before being knocked down to the ground below
"FRANCIS !" Azari called out before him and Pym rushed to his aid
"WAIT !..." James mustered out trying to not pay attention to the feeling of his crushed body
"We…need…..the….gauntlet…" he spoke in a light sense of breath but Thanos rolled his eyes
"Boy, you have no sense of knowledge so how about I inform you myself. You have no idea what I've done to get this thing within my hands. The worlds decimated, the People killed, the Lives I've took-"
"And if that's the case why didn't you stop Ultron" James stated ultimately admitting there was a small growl in his voice
His clap back indeed sparked a flare on Thanos as the old Titan had just let out an old growl and mumble before letting go of James within his blue bindings and replaced around his neck keeping him holstered in the air
"Tread lightly Boy, don't think for a second I don't know who you all are. Little Avengers"
Taking a look at each and everyone of the kids Thanos grumbled his voice
"Did your parents never teach you manners"
Azari snared his teeth at Thanos
"If you know who we are than you know what we've done" James stated grabbing Thanos's attention back
"We know about Ultron, and by the nasty scar that posses on your face I can tell you know about him as well"
Lightly Thanos avoided eye contact, more so impressed that James was able to get him like that. But he furthermore seeped deeper into the darkness to try to hide the giant cut on his cheek
"We meant it. When he said we didn't want to pick a fight. But we do need the Infinity Gauntlet. And we need it now. The world depends on it"
"The world always depends on something Young Captain" Thanos began before a giant flash of yellow filled around the room up for everyone to see
Francis and Torunn had looked up from their bruised positions barley keeping afloat along with the entire team themes;ves seeing the use of the mind stone in full affect as Thanos had began to talk
Flashing pictures of previous heroes saving the world came on full display. Heroes like Carol Danvers saving a world of Kree Aliens or Danny Rand battling a elder dragon for the sake of humanity
Cycle by cycle it showed more battles that heroes have fought
"The world Is always in a crisis, the bad guys fight hard, the heroes fight harder. A never ending fight of Heroes and VIllains"
The word Villains meant a whole new meaning when a display of the Avengers fighting a Young Thanos popped up
"All it is, is endless warfare. A story being told over and over again" Thanos exclaimed
The mind stone shined a bright yellow
"That was until Ultron came"
A display of Ultron shined in view for everyone to see it truly it still left the young teens disturbed
"When Ultron reigned down his regime tipped the balance of good and evil"
"There was more Evil in the world" Thanos stated visions and pictures of their parents and heroes dead bodies and weapons laying on the ground. It hurt and all of them looked away to spare the dispense "And not enough good people left to stop it. Ending the old era"
"But" he began again bringing everyone back a small podium being made shaping from thin air as 5 different figures were beginning to be carved out
"Good always prevails, and soon a new generation was born"
When the dust cleared the 5 figures revealed to be the 5 of them in what seemed to be some sort of firefight poster against a bunch of Ultron's robots
"You 5 are the standing point and epitome of what Heroes are supposed to be"
Even though Torunn was stuck in a wall, Francis was still twitching and James was holsted in the air by the Mad Titan himself none of that compared to the weird feeling in the pit of their stomach when they realized Thanos was praising them ?
"Ummm….thanks ?" Azari said in confusion
With a sigh James tried to pry himself from his bindings
"Look, Thanos. In approximately 4 days the world we know it will cease to exist" Pym revealed ripping the bandaid completely off
"Every memory, every date, every exploration you've conquered, all your work and progress will be for absolutely nothing because when Valeria Richards Universal bomb goes off it's gonna make the Big Bang look like an Oppenheimer experiment. And The Infinity Gauntlet is the only thing and key to use stopping that from happening"
Rising from his crouched position Pym stood up tall and strong no longer fearful of what was to come
"You said we were the next generation of Heroes right ? well if that's true then let us do what we do best and save the world-no the Universe as a whole. Come on, even Thanos himself must have a heart. Don't you ever miss someone from the past ? I sure do…."
A low grumble let Thanos's lips as he in fact did
But he would never tell
"So please, Thanos. Give us your Gauntlet and let us be the Heroes you see us as"
There was more or less a long pause and dwell between the wait to see what his answer would be. The long circumstance of what Thanos would reply with made everyone single one of their stomachs do loop de loops
But James and Torunn were soon dropped down to the ground below landing with hard thuds as they groaned from their injures
The Infinity Gauntlet shined bright every color glowing in it's own respectful shade as Thanos just looked at each stone in hand before looking up at the Heroes pleading eyes before finally making his decision

With a thud to the wall and a groan Hela held up Valeria and Ian by their necks forcing pressure upon them as they both began to gasp for air as Hela just kept a smile on her face
"Alright you I know" Hela began as she looked at Magni
"But you I don't" she stated looking at Valeria who just shook in her grasp
"And you…..I really want to get to know" she said when she looked at Ian who just glared daggers at her and huffed his breath
"Is this really how you're gonna treat the people who resurrected you ?" Valeria spat but Hela just shrugged her shoulders
"Ehh, with every member of my bloodline dead there's no one left to torment you could've left me to rot if you wanted-"
"I suggest you let me go right now"
Hela laughed
"Or what little girl-" Hela said before immediately being blasted away making Hela let go of Valeria and Ian
With a groan Hela looked down at her hands to find them decaying in small green atoms
"Because my armor is suited with nanomatic defense mechanisms that can burn through skin layers" Valeria said as she helped Ian up
Clenching her hand and growling Hela sported a sword from within her armor
"It's time I teach you some manners you brat"
Before the fight could emerge both Ian and Magni stepped in front of both woman to calm them down
"Hey, hey. Alright look" Magni said as he looked at his Aunt
"Aunt Hela, they are not your enemy. And tread not as there is someone of yours that you can help me kill within our bloodline"
"Unless it's the daughter of one of Thor I shall not care"
A smirk plastered on Magni's face stunning the Goddess of Death herself
"You mean….It's true ?. Thor really had a child ?"
Nodding his head Hela's whole demeanor changed in the snap of a finger as the sword she sprouted went away raising herself up to give a more serious look
"Why did you resurrect me girl ?" she asked Valeria
The blonde had just whisked her hair from his hood before explaining
"We need an army. I'm about to make some more or less loud noise and I'm gonna have some pointing fingers come directly my way. With the god of Thunder and God of Death by my side I figured I'd have more than enough help"
"And what makes you think I'd help you ?" Hela laughed
"It's a term I scratch your back you scratch mine, You keep the Heroes off my back and in return I give you Thor's Daughter, Torunn. Your niece"
When Valeria laid it all out on paper it did sound like a sweet gig But Hela was no ones dog
"I'm no lap dog"
"And I'm not saying you have to be" Valeria stated
"All I need you to do is what you do best. Kill. after that every single one of your wishes will come true"
Sucking on her tongue Hela clicked her teeth as she looked at Valeria's hand offering her partnership
A deal to kill who she wanted, and meet her own niece first hand. Seemed like a dream right ?
"I'm thousands of years old and Just got resurrected by a Young Woman who tells me a Hunk of Metal killed everyone I've ever known. What's more wrong with my life" Hela said before accepting Valeria's hand and shaking it
With a smile Valeria promised Hela a trustful partnership and agreement

"So he just gave it to you ?" Franklin said as all 6 of them crowded around the different colored Infinity Gems each Gem in it's own standalone case and glass podium
"He said he was keeping the Gauntlet. But more or less yeah" Pym said as he waved his hand over the Gem's
With a sickly laugh Franklin held himself up by 2 pairs of crutches
"Honestly can't believe you guys survived, I thought he would've killed you for sure"
Tilting his head a little Francis snorted as he looked at the Stones
"Yeah, well if we don't return you to full power soon all of this would've been for nothing. Pym when can we get this show on the road"
A small shutter was sent down Pym's spine before he opened his eyes showing he was done feeling the matter and energy the Stones gave off
"Soon, Franklin was right, these things give off massive amounts of cosmic radiation and energy. Hell absorbing these might boost you a little Franklin !"
"Well that's reassuring" Azari said
Going over to his workplace within his Lab Pym had begun to type away on his computer showing a HUD display of each individual stone
"Perfect part about this is even after Franklin absorbs the Stone the effects will be minimal like it didn't even happen"
"So you're saying the Stones will be at full power ?" Torunn said and Pym just nodded his head
"Well great, an amped Franklin and the 6 Infinity Stones at our disposal" Francis smirked
"We might actually win this thing" he said and truly enough hope for once was filled within every single one of them
"YOU BETTER !" a new coming voice had boomed within the Lab making everyone quake and turn back to find 7 different figures enter upon the lab coming from a black and purple portal
Emerging from the interdimensional portal came a sight Franklin was honestly surprised to see. The Inhumans in the flesh
And by the looks of it they weren't that happy
"You know when you asked us to help find your sister you could've told us she was planning on Big Banging the world especially since she just resurrected Hela" Ahura stated and immediately everyone shouted
"WHAT !"
