This is the fastest I've ever written a Chapter. I have had ACT Aspire today so I had a lot of time to write today. Thank you to MysteryFan1997 for your continued support. Thank you for reading. Today is Thursday, there are two days till my date with Kyron. So far my secret has been upheld but for how much longer I have no idea. It's time I start planning what I'm going to wear but I have been staring at the closet for a few hours at this point. The majority of my outfits consist of jeans and t-shirts and the minimum 3 dresses for special occasions. After staring for a little while longer I decide on a pair of jeans and a white striped shirt.

It needs something else.

I look into the back of my closet and find nothing. I decided to go ask dad if mom had something that I could wear for Saturday. He took me over to his closet where he pulled down a red leather jacket. I remember mom always wearing it. I haven't seen it in a long time. He gives it to me and I take it back to my room. I set it all out on my bed to see how it all looks.

Just one more thing.

I take the necklace off of my neck, the one my dad gave to my mom. The one he gave me.

Perfect

I fold up my clothes and set them on a chair in the corner of my room. I sit at my vanity and stare again thinking. I've done that a lot recently. Staring and thinking. Something in my consciousness wakes me up or something cause all of the sudden I had the sudden urge to run. I put on some running shoes, turned on some music and started off on my run. Starting off at a jog and as the music increased in tempo, my pace got faster and faster. Faster and faster and faster and faster and faster. I keep running, not even paying attention to where I'm going. By the time I finish my run, I'm deep into the northern woods.

Oh my god, I've been gone for 3 hours!

Knowing Dad he's probably worrying about where I am. I start to run back home but I'm lost. Really lost. I start to panic. I'm not normally one to get lost. I sat down by a tree. When I don't come home people will come and find me. There probably already was a search party on their way to find me. I hear shuffling around me.

"Hey! Over here!"

The shuffling got closer and closer. It could be an animal. And I just led it to me. Luckily it wasn't and it was just Kyron and Dad.

"Bloody hell. Thank god we found you." Dad exhales.

I stand up, but I almost fall to the ground because I've been sitting for hours. Kyron catches me as I start going down. We smile at each other. Dad pulls out the walkie talkie and talks to Grandma and Grandpa a few yards away.

"Aye. We found her. We're coming back now."

"See you soon." He hangs up the phone. "Your grandparents are gonna meet us at Granny's."

"Good, I would kill grilled cheese and some onion rings right now."

We started heading back to Granny's and I have no idea how I got lost because I was almost on the road to the town line. We finally get back on the road when all of the sudden the ground starts shaking. My dad turns around to face me and his eyes widen, and his face turns red with anger.

"Why do we always have to be trapped in this bloody town!"

"Wait what?" Kyron asks. He turned as well and his jaw dropped in shock.

"Both of you stay here, I will be right back."

Dad runs towards town and Kyron and I stay put. We sat down on the grass to the side of the road. I lean my head on his shoulder and look at him, and he looks back at me.

"What do you think is going on?" I ask Kyron.

"I have no idea. But whatever happens will not get in the way of us. Got it?"

I nod and look away. After a little while I started to shiver. It was about 7 P.M. at this point. I left the house at 4.

"Here, take my jacket, you look cold."

"Thank you."

"Your welcome.."

A few hours pass, and my dad comes back with Grandpa and Aunt Regina, in Grandpa's truck.

"Hey, Hope are you ok?" Regina asks.

"I should be fine."

"Oh my."

"We're trapped again." Dad says.

"Again!" Regina says exasperated. "Why are we always trapped in this god forsaken town?"

"No idea. But we gotta stay strong, and we gotta find out who did this."

Everyone hops into the truck, and Kyron and I sit in the truck bed.

"Who do you think it is?" I ask.

"I have an idea but I don't remember what she looks like so I have no idea."

"What do you mean?"

"Back in the Enchanted Forest, there was this witch, she was Drizella's daughter. At first she grew up nice, but then she turned evil when she realized she could never get a happy ending. Just like Regina did."

"Wow. What's her name?"

"Regan."

We stopped by Granny's and got some dinner. Kyron and I got back into the truck and ate. Regina, Grandpa, and Dad all got into the cab of the truck. 10 minutes later we got to Regina's house, and dropped her off, and then to my house.

"Dad you go inside I wanna talk to Kyron real quick."

He nods his head and heads inside.

"Thank you for finding me today. I really appreciate it." I take off his jacket and hand it back to him. He smiles, and takes it.

"Of course."

I give him a huge hug, he looks up down at me and I look up at him. He plants his lips on mine. I close my eyes as we just sit there.

"Good night, Hope. See you on Saturday?"

"Yes. Planning on it. Good night, Kyron."

He grips my hand as he walks away down the street towards his house. I head inside to find my dad waiting on the couch near the window.

"Care to explain?"

"Explain what?"

"Why did you want to talk to Kyron?"

"Were you watching us?"

"No, love, I would never do that."

"Good. And all I needed to talk to him about was Saturday, and I wanted to thank him for giving me his jacket."

"Aye, well, good night, love."

"Good night, dad."

Saturday comes and I am so excited. I called Grandma over to help me get ready for my date with Kyron, but all she knows is that we are going with Sadie. As I stand in front of the mirror, she gasps.

"My grandbaby is all grown up. Goin on her first date."

"Wait what? Who told you I'm going on a date?"

"Your dad."

"Oh my God you've got to be kidding me."

"What?"

"How long has he known? How long have you known?"

"SInce Sunday."

"Sunday, that's the day he asked me out!"

I storm out of my room and go to confront my dad.

"DAD!"

"Yes, love. Bloody hell you look beautiful."

"No. You don't get to talk. How long have you known, how did you find out?"

A minute goes by in silence. In the corner of my eye, I could see Grandma coming down the stairs to listen.

"I overheard your conversation with Sadie." He says slowly.

"Oh so we're eavesdropping now?"

Dad was speechless, we haven't had a fight like this since Mom died.

"Who did you tell?"

"Your grandparents, Regina, Zelena, Alice and Robin, Ruby Dorothy and Talia."

"Jesus Dad! Why couldn't you just leave it alone!"

"Because you're my daughter! That's why! I'm completely fine with all of this! This household does not keep secrets from each other and this is why. Because anytime there are secrets there is always fighting. Your mother and I got engaged twice because back in my pirating days I killed your great grandfather, and I kept it from her. And when she found out, she was furious. She broke off the engagement. And that led to me being kidnapped by the Nautilus. But look. You wouldn't be alive if I had left and didn't come back."

"Right and all this because of secrets. I gotta go, I'm gonna be late for my date. Don't wait for me tonight."

I walk out of the door, tears threatening to burst out of my eyes. Kyron walks out of his house and comes over.

"Hey, hey hey. What's wrong?"

"I just had a fight with my Dad. I don't want to apologize though."

"Let's go and try to get your mind off of it okay."

"I know we were going to go to dinner but could we maybe just sit under the stars tonight?"

"Anything for you."

We made our way up Giants Peak, which took about one hour so it was dark by the time we got up there, where we found an open clearing and sat. We set up a blanket Kyron grabbed from his house, and lay down. He held onto me as we just stared at the stars. We laid there smiling at each other and just being happy. I completely forgot about my fight with dad.

"Hope, you should make up with your dad, I've seen what unresolved fights can do to families."

"You sound like Archie."

He laughs "I guess I do. But I'm being serious."

"Fine, I feel bad anyways, he was fine with it, and I just snapped."

"Good. Hey, what time is it?"

"Nine."

"We should head back."

"Probably."

We walked down the path back to town, and to my house. He walks me to the doorstep, and then grabs my arm. He smiles sweetly, and it makes me laugh.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing, thank you for tonight it was lovely. Would you like to come in?"

"Yes."

We walk inside and I find my dad waiting for me.

"Dad, I'm sorry for yelling. I was so focused on keeping it secret because I didn't know how you'd react that I snapped."

"Thank you , love. And I'm sorry too. I should've told you I knew. Kyron, could I talk to you please?"

Kyron sits down across from my dad, and they begin talking.

"I'm gonna head upstairs."

I went upstairs and took a shower. After a few hours, I had completely forgotten Kyron was still here. And when he walked into my room as I was about to fall asleep he scared me. He sat on my bed, I layed on his shoulder, and just sat there, and talked and listened to each other laughing.

I heard my dad whisper something outside my door, I guess he was watching us.

"Well, we must've done something right, love. She's happy."
