Chapter 1: The Strongest Norse God vs. The Strongest Osh-Tekk Warrior! A Bloody Fight of Strength!

In the Valhalla Arena, every God, Human, Hybrid, Elf, Dwarf, Giant and Demon across the multiverse was here to see the beginning and possibly the end of the battle.

"THIS IS THE MOMENT THAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR AGES!" Heimdall, the Watchman of Apocalypse shouted. "THE MOMENT TO BLOW IN THIS GJALLARHORN! THE TIME TO OPEN THE CURTAIN OF RAGNAROK… IS DRAWING NEAR! ARE YOU REEEADY FOR THIS!?" He asked. "THE RULEs ARE SIMPLE, A FIGHT TO THE DEATH! THAT'S ALL TO IT! THE WINNER IS DECIDED BY THE COMPLETE ANNIHILATION OF THE OTHER SIDE'S FIGHTER!"

"It's about time… Big Sis Brunhild… Lady Freya." Geir said nervously.

"FROM THE SIDE OF THE GODS, THIS MAN! ONE KNOWN FOR HIS TREMENDOUS POWER AND HIS LEGENDARY WEAPON, MJOLNIR! HE'D SLAUGHTER THE GIANTS WITHOUT MERCY AND BATTLE THE WORLD SERPENT! IT'S THE STRONGEST NORDIC'S GOD, THE THUNDER BERSERKER!" Heimdall shouted. "THOR!"

Thor appeared in the arena with the same bored look on his face, meanwhile Odin from where he was looked down at his son with only one thing to say while Sif looked excited.

"Kill them." Odin said emotionlessly.

"Have fun out there honey!" Sif shouted with a big grin.

On the side of the humans, Brunhild, Geir, and Freya were watching. But it wasn't just humans, there were also Faunus, Elves, Giants, Dwarves, Hybrids, and Half-breeds all in between watching.

"Yikes." Geir said with fright.

"As expected, Lord Thor is the first one to fight." Brunhild thought. "This will be a hard one…"

"Indeed, this won't be an easy fight." Freya stated, feeling conflicted.

"AND NOW, FIGHTING FOR HUMANITY IS THIS MAN, A WARRIOR OF OUTWORLD AND THE LEADER OF THE OSH-TEKK TRIBE AND POSSIBLE THEIR STRONGEST ONE! HE WOULD WORK FOR THE MIGHTY AND TERRIFYING LEADER, SHAO KAHN! AFTER HIS DEATH HE WOULD SERVE SHAO KAHN'S DAUGHTER BUT WOULD TAKE OVER AFTER DETHRONING HER! HE WOULD BECOME THE NEW KAHN OF OUTWORLD AND RULE IT WITH STRENGTH, HE WOULD FIGHT ALL KINDS OF BEINGS, BE IT HUMAN, MONSTER, DEMON, OR EVEN A GOD! EVEN AFTER GIVING UP THE TITLE OF KAHN, HIS STRENGTH AND COURAGE-FILL HEART WOULD REMAIN STRONG!" Heimdal shouted. "IT IS… KOTAL KAHN!" He screamed.

Kotal Kahn would appear in the arena wielding his mighty sword and have a firm determined look, many would cheer and shout for him, his own people and Outworlds.

Kotal Kahn and Thor would approach each other while making eye contact, one a look of boredom the other a look of duty and determination, one a God the other a Mortal, both of them warriors for their side and would fight to the death to decide Fate.

"THE TENSION IN THE AIR IS OVERWHELMING! THE BATTLE FOR THE STRONGEST IS HERE AND NOW!" Heimdall shouted.

"Lord Thor! Please destroy that puny mortal with one hit!" Forseti, the Norse God of Justice shouted.

On the other side of the arena, Osh-Tekk warriors would let out battle cries for their leader and Forseti would frown at this.

"I do hope Kotal will be okay." Jade said, being Kotal one and only true love.

"We must have faith in him, Jade." Kitana the New Kahn of Outworld said to her friend

"Kitana is right, all we can do is watch and believe." Lui Kang the Champion of the Mortal Kombat tournament and Chosen One said, keeping his eyes on the arena.

Meanwhile, Geir, Brunhild, and Freya were watching and saw the fight was about to begin and Geir was nervous.

"Big Sis Hilde… Lady Freya… Do you think Kotal even has a chance?" Geir asked the two.

"There's no way a mortal could push a challenge to a God, let alone defeat them. That's what you're thinking, right?" Brunhild said to her.

"Ah no! I-I mean… that wasn't…" Geir said nervously, looking away.

"It's alright, Geir. There's no shame in doubt." Freya told her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure what every other God here is thinking." She said, looking right at Odin.

"Indeed, and that's why I'm certain that's precisely why… Humanity has a chance of ramming their fist up the arse of the Gods that fucked and shat all over them." Brunhild said with a calm smile.

"You're as vulgar as usual Brunhild." Freya said with a sigh. "Where did I go wrong with you?" She said, sounding like a mother. "Promise me you'll never say such words, Geir."

"U-Uh, sure… no problem." Geir muttered then looked at the arena. "It's finally gonna start… the duel!" She thought nervously.

"ARE YOU ALL READY FOR THE SLAUGHTER TO BE BEGIN!?" Heimdall asked and the crowd would shout at the top of their lungs. "THEN LET'S GET THIS STARTED!" He screamed, then took a deep breath and blew his horn and started the match!

Thor would continue to have a bored look on his face while Kotal had focus and serious face, both lowering their weapons which confused everyone but in reality they two were sizing each other up, no more time needed to be wasted. Thor and Kotal were face-to-face, even though they were bred differently and from different backgrounds, the one thing was for certain, each warrior was determined to prove their strength and show they alone hold the title of Strongest.

With that in mind, Thor raises Mjolnir while Kotal would raise his Macuahuitl and with the full intent of annihilating their opponent in one strike, they attack! Their weapons would clash and create a burst of force and cause sparks to fly everywhere, it seemed like a real surprise that the two looked evenly matched. Kotal gritted his teeth and put more power into his arms and force the hammer to the side and aim goes for the Nordic God's neck but Thor mange to dodge with ease and swung his hammer right at Kotal, planning on taking out his entire upper body but the former Kahn manage to block the strike with his sword but the force push him back a bit but he was fine, Thor was curious on this and decided to play with this mortal a bit before he killed him. Thor raised his hammer and swung it down at Kotal once more but he block the strike with his weapon and was sent skidding back from the force but remain firm and charge forward and swung his macuahuitl with full force at Thor and intended to chop right through the Norse God but Thor blocked with his hammer and was barely push back by the attack. The two would engage each other and swing and clash their weapons, Kotal would hold the fiery determination as he tried to cut down the Norse God while Thor continued to observe as he swung his hammer.

"A simply mortal being able to hold their own against…. Thor. Hohoho, how interesting but it won't be long now… until Thor uses his true power." Zeus said with a glint in his eyes as he enjoyed the fight.

Thor continued to fight with Kotal and at this point he had enough and decided to just end things, he jumped back and ready himself then released lightning from his hands and gripped Mjolnir with both of them and took an odd stance where it looked like he was gonna fall on his back. The story behind this stance was when a horde of giants attacked Asgard and nearly destroyed it, but Thor was able to finish them all with his instant kill technique and tales of his glory were told, but for Thor it was anything but glorious, all he could feel in that moment was sheer disappointment and absolute boredom.

"Playtime is over." Zeus stated.

"Show them." Odin ordered.

"Oh may~." Sif said with a heavy blush.

Thor unleashes the killer move named, Thor's Hammer! Kotal would look at this in shock and then a huge bursting flash of lightning that reached the skies appeared, it would kick up a huge gust of wind and dust. Geir looked at the scene with dread, believing that the fight was already over.

"That's… the true strength of a God?" Geir thought. "It's over no matter how you look at it… even the thought of a mortal beating a God is foolish after all…" She thought, falling to her knees.

"Stand up, Geir." Brunhild told her.

"Big Sis." Geir said, facing the older Valkyrie. "No more! I… I can't watch any longer!"

"Don't avert your eyes…" Brunhild told her, her eyes still on the arena.

"But!" Geir said, not understanding.

"Brunhild is right, Geir. You mustn't miss this very important moment in history between God and Mankind." Freya told her. "The moment where Humanity has surpassed the Gods!" She shouted.

When the smoke cleared, it was revealed that Kotal had survived the attack by blocking with his macuahuitl, shocking everyone but the most shocking was Thor.

"You will not finish me off so quickly." Kotal told him, pushing the hammer off.

Then with one swing of his macuahuitl, Kotal slash Thor across the chest and made the God bleed! Everyone was shocked that a mortal was able to injure a God. Then something crosses Thor's mind, had they both been born in the same time and same place or even born in the same race, they would be rivals.

"Bastard, how disappointing that such strength is wasted on a mortal like you." Thor said with a smirk, now he was intrigued.

"This isn't just a mere fight, Thunder Berserker. But… Mortal Kombat! As the Leader of the Osh-Tekk and one of the Chosen Champions, I will fight you to the bitter end for the sake of Outworld!" Kotal shouted, aiming his weapon at Thor, who just smirked a bit wider.

"Then come do so." Thor said to the Outworlder.

Things were finally getting interesting, maybe Thor could actually enjoy himself in a fight for once, he would make the first move this time and swung his hammer at Kotal and the Outworlder quickly block with his sword and grunt at the amount of force put into the strike and nonetheless push it back and does a over shoulder swing with his macuahuitl at Thor who manage to block it with his hammer, the weapons would grind hard against each other and create sparks as the two fighters look each other in the eyes, one having smirk building excitement while the other had frown of focus determination.

"Hmm… how strange." Zeus said, trying to figure how it was possible for a God to be injured by a mortal weapon.

"Lord Zeus! Is there something about him that interests you!?" Hermes, One of the 12 Olympus Gods shouted the question.

"Something impossible has occurred…" Zeus answers.

"You're wondering how a mere mortal is able to keep up with a God!?" Hermes shouted the question once more.

"Oh shut up already! Don't shout right in my ear!" Zeus shouted back. "I'm not so old my ears have stopped working!" He shouted with a huff, then calmed down. "There is that… but there's another issue is that he's up against Mjolnir. Any weapon made by man should've been destroyed in one-hit." He pointed out. "So that should be impossible… man-made weaponry would never stand against, wait a second…" He looked to where Brunhild and Freya were, the Eldest Valkyrie and Former Valkyrie Leader shot the God a sly grin. "Hmph. I see your plot, Valkyrie Girls"

"Big Sis… Lady Freya, Lord Zeusis looking over here with a creepy smile." Geir said in fright.

"It appears he's noticed." Brunhild said calmly.

"Indeed, it seems he has." Freya stated. "And without a doubt so has the old foul crow." She thought, looking at Odin, the two staring each other down for a bit before Freya focused back on the fight.

Prior to the beginning of Ragnarok

Brunhild had revealed the Book of Infinite Knowledge, Geir wasn't sure what it did while Freya had cold sweat at the sight then faced the Valkyrie Leader with a serious face.

"Brunhild, tell me. How did you get this?" Freya asked her. "You do realize the severity of having this let alone using it, right?" She asked her.

"I am aware." Brunhild answered her. "As for how I got this, it was left to me by… an ally." She said, solemnly as she looked away.

"I see." Freya stated. "Have you decided on 13 Champions?"

"I have… another gift from the one who left this for me." Brunhild stated, revealing a list.

"Very well then." Freya stated.

"I have no idea what's going on? Big Sis said an ally gave her that book but Lady Freya was clearly bothered by this." Geir thought, not knowing what to say. "Do you really think that any of the fighters are capable of going up against a God? Let alone Lord Thor?" Geir asked them.

"Obviously, they got no chance." Brunhild answered bluntly.

"Indeed." Freya agreed.

"Obviously? No chance!?" Geir asked in comedic horror.

"The cheats the Gods have are their divine weapons, have been forged and honed within heaven…" Brunhild explained. "Compared to the weapons of Mankind, they are simply toys and therefore would be smashed to pieces within seconds." She stated.

"Brunhild is right, the power of the Gods along with their weapon, is beyond what most mortals are capable of. Even the rare few that can challenge the Gods would have a hard time." Freya explained.

"So Geir, there is no way in hell that the mortals can defeat Gods wielding their divine weapons." Brunhild stated. "It's completely hopeless."

"No way in hell… completely hopeless" Geir said weakly, filled with dread. "WE'RE DOOOOOOOOMED!" She shouted, falling to her knees as she said this.

"Fufufu, you're right here. We're absolutely doomed~." Brunhild stated. "So let me ask you this. What if mortals had divine weapons and a boost as well?"

"Huh." Geir asked, confused.

"Brunhild is right, only a divine being with a divine weapon can defeat another divine being with a divine weapon." Freya told her, kneeling next to her and rubbed her back.

"You called dear sister." A female voice said in a plum of blossom petals. "In accordance with our sister, Brunhild's summoning. We, the 11 Valkyrie Sisters, have gathered."

"Oh… our sisters!" Geir in awe.

"It's been so long since I've seen you all." Freya said with a soft smile, wiping away a few tears

"This is the first time all 13 of us have gathered in one place?!" Geir said surprised. "But why…?"

"Randgriz. Step forth." Brunhild called out.

"Yes. Dear sister." Randgriz, The 4th Valkyrie said, approaching Brunhild.

"Sister Griz." Geir said happily.

"My you have grown, Randgriz." Freya said with a smile.

"A pleasure to see you, Lady Freya." Randgriz said, bowing.

"Randgriz, I take it you know of Lord Thor's armaments?" Brunhild asked.

"Of course. The Jarngreipr, gauntlets capable of withstanding any attack." Randgriz explained. "And most importantly, "Jotun Bane", more commonly known as Mjolnir."

"Indeed." Brunhild stated. "Those two that Thor wields are heaven's strongest, shittiest cheats. In order to win against Lord Thor, first we must overcome those obstacles." She stated. "Randgriz… will you pledge your body to me?" She asked.

"Of course sister. With pleasure." Randgriz answered.

"Pledge your body?" Geir thought confused.

"And now, it is time for us to begin the second phase of our plan." Brunhild said firmly, covering the book in the cloak.

The sound of arguing would be heard and as the door opened up, it was revealed to be three figures, one of them was a tall and buff man having orange eyes, brown hair along with a full beard that match, he was wearing a black smith outfit to boot.

"I get the stuff you ask for." The blacksmith said to Brunhild.

"Thank you for the help, Lord Hephaestus." Brunhild said with a bow.

"Huh!? L-Lord Hephaestus! What is he doing here!? Why is he here!?" Geir thought, shocked at this.

"Indeed, we appreciate this very much." Freya said kindly.

"No problem, Humanity accepted me when that bastard old man and bitch wife abandoned me." Hephaestus said seriously. "Hope you know what you're doing, these weapons weren't easy to make but luckily I had help." He stated, gesturing to two dwarves, who were still arguing. "When they weren't arguing."

The first one was a short blue dwarf with a beard and bulky body and was wearing a brown blacksmith outfit while the other dwarf was a taller and more lean body with beard and mustache in a matching outfit.

"Brokk and Sindri, you have my thanks." Brunhild said to the two dwarves.

"Ah, whatever! Make sure you butcher those bastards because we work fucking hard on those weapons!" Brokk said crudely.

"Wh-What he means is, just be careful… i-if the Gods found out… we h-help, things w-won't end well." Sindri said nervously.

"We understand." Freya told him. "With these items we have a chance to fight against God!"

Back to the present

Thor and Kotal would continue to clash weapons and as they fought, Kotal's macuahuitl was surrounded by a green glow and it was revealed to be Randgriz.

"What is that weapon?" Hermes asked, trying to block the light.

"Just as I thought…" Zeus stated.

"That right, this is the secret of us sisters… our counter to the God's cheat! It's our very own cheat!" Brunhild thought with a wide smile. "The body of a Valkyrie's body can become the shape of any mortal weapon. Along with them to option divine weapons of their own. The technique is called… Volund!" She stated.

Kotal manages to knock Thor's hammer to the ground and swings his sword at the neck of the God, but Thor blocks with his right arm.

"A weapon that has become divine, takes on the traits of the Valkyrie it possesses. The 4th sister, Randgriz." Brunhild explained. "Is… Sheildbreaker!" After she said that, one of Thor's gauntlets shattered! "It's time for the party to begin." She said with a victorious smirk.

"Now things are a little more even." Freya said calmly, she was feeling conflicted with this fight.

Once Kotal had shattered one of Thor's gauntlets, he didn't waste time attacking one again and cut the Nordic God's chest once more creating an "X" wound now. Kotal kept swinging his sword at Thor. The Norse God dodge and make a grab for his hammer but Kotal bash his shoulder into Thor's chest making the Norse God grunt in surprise, Kotal would try to cut through Thor's neck once more but he dodge the attack once more so Kotal mix it up with kicks or body tackles, Thor grunted but decided to return the favor an use his right arm to guard against Kotal's next slash and the moment it made connect the counter with a punch to the chest, the force and power behind it was so strong it made the former kahn spat out blood and loss his grip on his weapon. Thor thought this might be as fun as he thought it his opponent was already crumbling from a single punch but was proven wrong when Kotal charged forward and returned a punch of his own right to the face.

"Do not think of me down just yet, Thunder God." Kotal told Thor.

"Hmph. Thor merely smiled, then cracked his knuckle with lightning coming off them.

It was now a battle of bare-handed combat, Kotal and Thor exchange blows with the Osh-Tekk starting with another punch to the face and Thor return with punch to the face of his own, blood spill from Kotal's mouth as a piece of his helmet fall off, he got Thor in the chest while the Norse God gave him a blow to the stomach, his strength was no joke as Kotal spat out blood and grunted in pain before attacking with a combo of punches to the face and chest, Thor push back a bit from the blows, he had light bruises on his chest and face then blood drip down from his nose, Thor felt it and smirked at the Outworlder. He attack with a punch and Kotal blocked with his arms and grunted in pain as Thor threw punch after punch at the former kahn and all Kotal could do was block as to avoid getting his vital hit, he dodge Thor's next punch and land a right hook across his face but the Thunder God merely smiled and threw a counter blow right to the chest making Kotal gasp and spat out blood. He backed up and took a knee, panting but still holding his determination, he placed his hands on the ground then his feet it was an odd stance, like he was about to pounce or something and the moment he did, he transformed into a black jaguar. Thor was not expecting so didn't have time for a counter attack as the large beast tackle him to the ground and proceeded to maul him, slashing Thor's left eye and tries to rip the Nordic God's throat out but Thor use his left arm to take the bite while using the right arm protect his face. Kotal sinks his teeth deep into the flesh of the God and was actually trying to chew through the arm while clawing at him, slashing up his other arms and chest. It was a brutal scene, Humanity had hope that they could win while the Gods panic at the sight of what they were seeing. While the fight was going on Hermes explained Volund to Zeus.

"That is… the essence of Ragnarok, correct?" Hermes asked.

"Yes… that's right… those pissy little girls… against us, mighty Gods… this is a rebellion!" Zeus shouted, not pleased. "But… to think that the Valkyries… would seriously turn their blades on us… it's so… this just… the greatest thrill I've had ever since the big bang!" Zeus said with a look of great pleasure, his muscle swelling up. "Right? Br-bru-bru-bru-bru-bru-bru-bru-brunhild?" He asked, pervertedly. This freaked out Geir while Brunhild had a blank face, and Freya a serious and stoic one.

"Quit staring over here. Creepy motherfuckering geezer." Brunhild thought.

"What will you do now? Odin…" Freya thought with venom.

Kotal continued to maul the Norse God but then a thundering boom was heard and when everyone looked where it was coming from, they saw Mjolnir was trembling and melting the ground under it into liquid hot stone. Now that Kotal was a jaguar his animal instincts were telling him that the weapon was extremely dangerous! All the Gods with the exception of Zeus and Odin and Sif began to dread the worst, believing Thor could no longer use his hammer, especially given the position he was in. Then everyone began to hear a thumping sound and it was coming from Mjolnir, it was revealed that it was pulsing!?

"Finally… you've awakened." Thor stated, and then veins burst from the hammer!

"Gaaaaaaah! It got veins!? Wha…? Huh…? Is that thing alive!?" Geir asked, completely freaking out. Even Brunhild was taken back in shock while Freya was dreaded this moment.

"Ohoho, so Mjolnir has finally awakened, eh?" Zeus stated.

"Awakened… you say?" Hermes asked, curious.

"See, there's a slight misunderstanding in the legend about Mjolnir and Jarngreipr… the gloves weren't there to protect Thor from Mjolnir." Zeus told Hermes. "Instead, it was actually there in order to protect Mjolnir, prior to its awakening from the weight of Thor's swing." He explained.

"Now that Mjolnir has awakened, honey is about to show what he can really do~!" Sif said with a heavy blush.

"This has been fun but now it's time to really cut loose." Thor said to Kotal, then proceeded to kick him off, making the black jaguar spat out blood before hitting the ground.

"What strength, he still has that much power to throw me off with ease." Kotal thought, getting to his feet and licking up the blood off his lip and teeth before returning normal.

"Come on, sleepyhead." Thor said, lifting his hammer with one hand. "Mortal… no your name is Kotal Kahn, right? I have one request to make." And lightning burst from the hammer. "Don't die on me now."

"Hmph." Kotal said, grabbing his weapon once more. "I will not be the one to die here, Thunder God." He said firmly.

Back in the stands, Brunhild had received a message from her heavenly phone and pulled it out, Geir saw this and pointed out that she shouldn't have taken it out while Freya just rolled her eyes but smiled.

"Ah! That's not allowed, you know! You have to turn your phone off while in the cinema." Geir stated.

Brunhild had a look of pure shock on her face, then smirked and Null could already tell why but Geir remained confused.

"It's here. The list of combatants for Ragnarok." Brunhild told her, then showed the list.

"Huh? Th-This is it…?" Geir said, trembling. "The 30 names that will decide everything? And the countdown to decide humanity's fate… for all Humanity across the Multiverse, these are the final 15!" She shouted.

"These 15 warriors from across the Dimensions will be the ones to face off against the Gods in Ragnarok!" Null said with a proud smile.

"This will be a fight to remember." Freya stated.

On the side of the Gods, Hermes showed Zeus the roster and he was very pleased with what he saw. Back with Kotal and Thor, the Nordic God was now getting serious while the Osh-Tekk was observing him closely as he approached him.

It was a rare sight to behold, The mighty Thor with his awakened Mjolnir was getting serious. Even the all omniscients Gods were in awe at the sight!

Thor checked his other arm to see if it was still usable and it was, he then grabbed Mjolnir with both hands then swung it at Kotal with great power, the Outworld blocked with his macuahuitl but was still sent skidding back due to the sheer force of power, Thor release bolts of lightning and sent him at Kotal, the former kahn was given a nasty and hurt a lot more than Raiden's lightning. Thor close the distance and swung his hammer down at Kotal but he once more manage to block the attack, he grunted at the force and weight but push Thor back a bit and swung his sword at Thor's abdomen but the Norse God block the strike, Thor would toss his hammer at Kotal and Mjolnir would spun right at Kotal at great speed, he was able to dodge by leaning back then charge right at the God with the intent of cutting him down but the hammer spun right back at him, luckily Kotal was able to avoid it for a second time. Thor caught the hammer and combined the velocity and centrifugal force from being thrown with all his own might had created the ultimate blow, this surprised everyone. The name of this technique was called, Geirrod.

In this battle of the strongest, Thor would display his finest smile while Kotal would meet it with his most determined frown.

Thor brought the hammer down onto Kotal then there was a large crash and it kicked up a cloud of dust, once it was cleared, Kotal had managed to survive the ultimate blow by blocking with his macuahuitl.

"That blow buried Jormungandr… what with that mortal..." The Black Raven asked, confused.

"Kotal! Quit making my sister do all the heavy lifting!" Geir shouted. "Hm?" She said, confused.

Kotal didn't get out unscathed, both of his legs would end up broken and badly. He fell to his knees and was in great pain, everyone on the side of humanity was in shock and horror.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jade shouted with dread.

"This is not good." Kitana said, grimly.

"Quite." Liu Kang said seriously.

Meanwhile on the side of the Gods, they were more than glad to see a mortal push to the brink before they would die.

"Hermes…" Zeus called out.

"Yes?" Hermes answered.

"Isn't it just wonderful…? To watch men fight and die?" Zeus said, taking great pleasure in the sight before him.

"Ooooh, may~." Sif said, quivering in her seat with a more intense blush. "Honey looks sooooo hot right now~."

On the side of Humanity

"Sister! Kotal! Hurry and get out of there!" Geir shouted with great concern. "Please…" She begged.

"Hmmmm… this does not look good." Freya said, concerned and conflicted.

All of humanity had thought it was over, except for a couple of beings in the crowd of Humanity and didn't look pleased at what they were doing.

"What is the meaning of this? Why is the former Kahn that wiped the tribe now just laying there waiting for death!?" Baraka, General of the Tarkatans shouted.

"Indeed, what is with this pitiful sight? Is this truly the man that bested Goro and slayed King Gorbak?" Sheeva, Queen of the Shokan said firmly.

"Hot dang, he's more crippled than a baby horse with four left legs." Erron Black, the Outworld Sharpshooter said, tipping his hat up.

"This is unacceptable! We know that Kotal is stronger than this! He was the Kahn we chose to serve!" Ermac, the Outworld Ninja shouted in anger.

"Kotal is not done yet! He can't be!" Reptile, the Reptilian Ninja shouted.

Soon everyone started cheering for Kotal to get back up, the Gods thought it was useless and rather have the former Kahn just give up and accept death. Kotal gripped his teeth and slowly started picking himself up until he managed to get back to his feet, Thor smiled at this and was genuinely excited. Kotal raise his hand to the air and mutter something and the marking on his body glowed yellow, his broken leg started to heal which shocked the Gods and Thor but that wasn't the end of the surprise because Kotal held out his hand and release a blast of sunlight and hit Thor right in the chest, leaving a burn wound!

"We are not done here, Thunder God. I will not disappoint all that had put their faith in me." Kotal told Thor.

"Hehehe, bring it then." Thor said with an excited smirk.

Kotal rush forward and swung his sword at full force while Thor meet the attack with his own swing and the moment the weapons connected it created a bigger shockwave from before, Kotal had a determined look while Thor was smiling at this and channel more lightning into his hammer and swung it at the Outworlder and Kotal meet the swung with his one and created a explosion of lightning and energy, the force of the strike was so power it sent Kotal skidding back, he grunted and tightened his grip on his macuahuitl and rush forward and call forth the power of the sun and unleash another blast but Thor block with his hammer this time but Kotal sidestep the Thunder God and swung his weapon and cut Thor across the left side of his abdomen and follows up with another cut but Thor blocked with his hammer, their weapons grind against each other and created more sparks. The two swung their weapons at full force and created multiple sparks and loud booms, they kept going until Thor swung his hammer hard enough to knock Kotal's weapon out his hands and he cursed at this. Thor swung his hammer at the Outworlder once more so Kotal sidestep the Nordic God and pull out his dagger and jam it into Thor's stomach, he grunted at this and Kotal back away and this time pull out his Crescent Maces and carve into the Norse God's flesh, aiming for the wound on the left arm.

Thor pulled out the dagger and tossed it aside and blood spilled to the ground and pain flared up making Thor grunted at this but still had a smile as he swung at the former kahn, Kotal dodge and cut into Thor's right shoulder and forearm. Thor had been the strongest for the longest time, having no form of equal or rival that could give him a challenge but now, he found someone that can handle themselves, keep up and even wound him, this was the most fun that he has ever experienced for decades! Kotal keep dodging and cut into Thor's body with his Crescent Mace but it wasn't enough and this was prove a fact when Thor use Thor's Hammer and the full weight and power of Mjolnir crash into him and he barely blocked with his weapons before getting sent flying and crashing into a wall, his body was bloody and bruise from the blow and he spat out blood, his maces were broken from taking the brunt of the blow along with his right shoulder being dislocated, he grab his shoulder and snap it back into place and channel the power of the sun and heal his injures, he saw his macuahuitl and would make a move to grab it but Thor was in his way. He get to his feet and rush forward and transform into a black jaguar, Thor swung his hammer but the beast dodge and slash at the right side of Thor's waist but the wound is shallow and the Nordic God was able to react fast to turn and attack with swung of his hammer with lightning coated it but the black jaguar dodge and only got grazed on the left shoulder making him grunted and growled but manage to get near his weapon, he turn back into his normal form and pick it up.

Kotal would grip his weapon tightly and rush forward and with both hands swung it with his full power right at the Nordic God and Thor meet the strike with his own but Kotal had been studying Thor's movement as they fight and manage to get the timing of his attack down so he dodge the swung and attack with a slash to the wound the waist he made as a jaguar and was able to give the Thunder God a deeper wound then before, making him grunt in pain and turn to face the former kahn and release a blast of lightning that gave him nasty shock made him scream in pain and get hit by the strike of the hammer, making crash into the arena wall. Kotal spat out blood and grunt in pain, his spine took a some damage and his legs weren't fully healed so getting to his feet was a struggle but he manage to and heal himself once more, he didn't have much time to think as Thor came at him and swung his hammer so the Outworlder dodge the attack and cut into the Norse God's chest and left a horizontal cut and actually made Thor stumble back, he look at all the wounds he receive and back at his opponent turn rival.

"This fight was actually worth my attention, this is the longest fight I have been in." Thor said, feeling his wound and saw his own blood paint his fingers red. "So… Kotal Kahn as a show of my respect to you… I will use my full power to kill you, I hope you can handle it." He said with a slightly craze smirk.

"Do your worst, Thunder God. I will not falter and give it my all to take your life." Kotal said with a firm and determined face.

"That's what I like to hear." Thor said now pump as they began the climax!

Thor's muscle with bulk up and lightning would flash off his body as an electric blue and white aura surrounded him, Kotal had a cold sweat but wasn't gonna back down and took a battle stance.

On the side of Humanity

"S-S-Sister… did Lord Thor… just say, he would use his full power?" Geir asked while trembling as she looked at the Norse God.

"Indeed… this might be more difficult than we thought." Brunhild said, having a couple of cold sweats.

"I haven't seen Thor use his full power since his fight with Jormungandr." Freya said seriously. "I also never seen him smile like that. He must be really enjoying himself." She thought a bit fondly.

On the side of the Gods

"Oooooooh boooooy~! To see my Honey fight at his fullest is another level of excitement~!" Sif said panting now with a red face and gushing over the fight.

"Just how strong is this mortal to cause Thor to release his full power!?" The Black Raven shouted.

"Indeed, but if Thor fights with his full strength then that mortal will be done for!" The White Raven pointed out and the Black Raven agreed.

Meanwhile, Zeus was rubbing his chin as he was trying to figure out something odd that had happened, it just didn't make sense to him now he was old but by far wasn't a fool.

"How peculiar, Hermes." Zeus stated.

"Something the matter, Lord Zeus?" Hermes asked him.

"That mortal was able to injure Thor even though he lost his divine weapon, more so he had other weapons that managed to hurt him." Zeus pointed out. "That shouldn't be possible in the least."

"You make a good point, Lord Zeus." Hermes stated. "It is likely those secondary weapons were made by divine materials." He suggested.

"It seems to me that we might have a traitor on our hands." Zeus said seriously, not pleased at the thought.

Back in the arena, Thor made the first move once more and swung his hammer at full power and even coated it in lightning for added effect, Kotal met the attack head-on with his own attack that had his full power as well! It created a booming sound a shockwave ripple through the arena, Kotal felt his body tremble from the intense blow but didn't let up as he and Thor clash one more and made another shockwave, Thor would smile as he felt the pain his in body flare up from the intense vibration but he didn't care. Kotal barely dodge the next strike from Thor and channel the power of the sun once more and unleash a blast aim right for the but the Norse God dodge and ended up getting his right shoulder hit and having a burn but he release more lightning and shock Kotal and use Thor's Hammer on him but Kotal power through and block the attack. He then channel the power of the sun and blast Thor in the chest once more right on the burn wound and it made Thor grunt in pain but Kotal didn't let out and hit Thor with a double combo of punch the Nordic God's wounded chest and follow up with upward with the elbow making him grunt but he return the favor but throw a punch and hit Kotal right in the chest, cracking a couple of his ribs and making him grunt in pain but he remain firm and follow up with and slash of his sword and cut Thor across the abdomen but not as much blood spill out due to the new toughness of the muscle and channel lightning into his hand and land another punch on Kotal's chest sent him skidding from the force but he also left a nasty burn wound that look as if his flesh was melting, not a good feeling. Thor doesn't let up and swung his hammer and Kotal meet the swing with his own strike and create a shockwave, Kotal attack with a kick to the wound on the waist and made Thor grunt in pain but still smile as Kotal grip the macuahuitl with both hands and thrust it into his stomach to try and kill him but Thor block with his hammer so the Outwolder damage one of veins instead.

The two continue the exchange of blows as they swung their weapons at each other but it reach the point they won't just using their weapons to harm each other, Kotal land a hard punch right on Thor's face, Thor land a punch in the gut of Kotal, Kotal land a middle right kick to the abdomen, Thor land a punch to the face, Kotal cut Thor's chest making blood spill, Thor unleash lightning and shock Kotal making him scream in pain but he endure it and bash his head against Thor's face and cause blood to spill from his nose and he only grin and swung his hammer while Kotal swung his macuahuitl and the two weapons clash and create another shockwave, Kotal move out of Thor field of vision and attack the Thunder Berserker with combo of punches making Thor grunt at this but he retaliate with lightning coated punch to the face, Kotal grunt and back away. Both of them were panting as their body was covered in bruises, blood, and cuts and yet they weren't done, Thor had lost a lot of blood and Kotal had taken serious internal damage. Thor spat blood to the ground and grin then looked to the sky as he took in the feeling he hasn't felt in forever, joy, pure joy at the thought of finding a rival that pushed him this far and injured him this much. Kotal just kept his eyes on Thor knowing that the Thunder God wasn't done and knew that he needed to end this soon as his body was reaching its limit and he couldn't afford to let down all that put their faith in him.

"Kotal Kahn… I am grateful for having this fight. This is the most fun I had in forever but like all this, we're reaching the end of this battle." Thor said, aiming Mjolnir at Kotal. "So… bring your all because I will do the same." He said, releasing a ton of lightning.

"Very well, Thunder God, no Thor." Kotal said, finally using Thor's name. "Indeed we are reaching the end of this battle, I will bring my all to put an end to your life." He said firmly, gripping his macuahuitl tightly.

On the side of Humanity

"Sister… I don't know why but for some reason I can't wait to see this fight ends." Geir said quietly.

"It would make sense, Geir." Brunhild said to the youngest Valkyrie. "These two are warriors of great strength and respect, there's no telling how this will end." She stated.

"Either Thor will die or Humanity will gain the first victory." Freya thought, not sure how to feel about this but would see this fight to the end.

The two rivals charge each other as and swing their weapon and strike at each other, making a shockwave that kicks up dirt! Kotal dodge another swing of the hammer and slash Thor's right side of his abdomen making more blood spill but the Norse God release a wave of lightning and shock Kotal once more and then hit him with his hammer and sent him crashing into the arena wall once more, he spat out blood as he grunt in pain but didn't have time to proceed it as he saw Thor coming at him and dodge the next swing as it crash into the arena wall and nearly cause it to collapse, Kotal elbow Thor in the right side of his face then using his left hand he swung his macuahuitl at Thor's neck to take his head off but the Nordic God back away so only his right cheek was cut and sent more lightning at the Outworlder, Kotal stab his sword into the ground then rip out a large chunk of the ground to block at the lightning and rush forward as the lightning rip through the stone until only the weapon remain and stab Thor right in the chest, he spat out blood and tries to swing his hammer but Kotal got in close by grabbing Thor by the shoulder and push the macuahuitl a bit deeper, simply smile at Kotal and grab him by the neck and release a ton of lightning and shock him then smash his head into his face, making his stagger back before getting hit by Mjolnir making him fly and crash into the ground. Kotal was burned from the lightning and most of his bones were likely broken, he was laying on his back and looking at the sun meanwhile Thor still has the macuahuitl in his body as he panting and looking at him. Humanity dreaded the worse while the Gods cheered for Thor to finish him off, Kotal slowly pick himself up as he use the power of the sun to heal his injured but it was slow, Thor smirk at this and pull the weapon out his body and toss it at the Outworlder, confusing everyone at this.

"Let… finish this, as warriors, Kotal Kahn." Thor told him.

"Very well… Thor." Kotal told him.

He got to his feet once more, he was panting heavily as he didn't have much left so he planned to put his everything into his last attack while Thor would put his all into his swing as he tossed his hammer!

"Lady Randgriz, please lend me your power!" Kotal thought, rushing forward.

"Very well." Randgriz said to him.

Randgriz would use her ability Shieldbreaker to break all of his limiters with a green light surround his body and made his muscles bulk up and then Kotal would channel the power of the sun directly into his weapon and it was so intense that it actually set the macuahuitl ablaze with golden flames! Both knew that this would be the strongest swing they ever thrown and likely would be the last one that they thrown for one of them, Mjolnir came back and Thor channel all the lightning into it as he use Thor's Hammer while Kotal attack with a move that he named, Wrath of the Osh-Tekk! Thor would use his insane smile while Kotal let out battle cry with a fiery determination, the two attacks connected and created an explosion of lightning and sunlight that reached the heavens of the sky, after the deafening boom there was only silence and a large dust cloud, everyone watched with great suspense. "Who had won?" That was the question on everyone's mind, whichever side won would define the outcome for all here.

When the dust cleared, it revealed Kotal with both of his arms gone and his body bloody while Thor only had a couple of burns but Mjolnir was severely damaged with golden blood spilling from all its veins. Kotal's macuahuitl one the side and crack before turning back into Randgriz, the Outworlder spat out blood as he was at the brink of death, Thor just looked at him with a dull expression. Kotal fell forward and everyone thought it was over but the former Kahn had one more surprise to give, using all the remaining strength his body had, he lunge forward and transform into a black jaguar, he let out a beastly roar as he bare his fangs at the Norse God and made one more attempt at the life of Thor aiming to tear his very heart out! Thor would give a grateful smile at this and swing his hammer once more and completely take off Kotal's head as it was reduced to pulp! The Outworlder's body would fall and turn to normal, Thor would let out a sigh and look to the sky, right at the sun.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE A WINNER AND IT IS THOR! HE CLAIMS VICTORY FOR THE GODS IN ROUND 1!" Heimdal shouted at the top of his lungs.

The Gods would cheer and mock Humanity as they felt nothing but despair from such a loss, Jade could do nothing but cry while Kitana comforted her. Brunhild would have a serious face as her eyes were shadowed, Geir could only look in shock, and Freya had a look of guilt as she turned away from the arena.

Thor would continue to look at the sun for a moment longer before turning away and walking out the arena, his expression would be unreadable.

"Jeez, for someone that had just won. You think he would be happier." Heimdal thought.

As Thor continued to walk he saw Kotal's dagger, he stared at it then picked it up and observed it and thought of the man he called his rival.

"Thank you for the greatest fight of my life, Kotal Kahn. you truly earn the title of Strongest." Thor said and put the dagger in his pocket before walking away.

Soon, Kotal and Randgriz bodies would begin breaking apart then turn into light particles. Geir fell to her knees at the sight of her Valkyrie sister, Brunhild maintained a serious face, Freya covered her mouth and didn't look.

All of Outworld would have a moment of peace to mourn the loss of a truly strong combatant, all the Clan leaders, Kitana Kahn and the fighter of Earthrealm would salute to the warrior known as Kotal.

The two older figures walk off to prepare for the next round, Geir regains her composure and follows after the two.

"S-Sister… L-Lady Freya… just wait a second." Geir shouted, trying to catch up. "What will happen to Randgriz and Kotal Kahn now?"

"After this? A Foolish question." Brunhild told her.

"Brunhild…" Freya said in a soft but firm tone.

"This is a battle of souls… if the soul itself is destroyed then there is no return to the cycle of reincarnation. As such, one shall be reduced to dust and return to the vacuum of space." Brunhild explained, not facing Geir and Freya could only gripped her fist.

"Huh…?" Geir said in pure disbelief.

"Niflhel… there is no "after this" for them anymore." Brunhild clarified.

Geir realized what she meant and it horrified her, she was brought to tears at the thought she would never see one of her sisters again, Geir nearly yelled at Brunhild for knowing the whole time but still went through with it but Freya pull her in for a hug as she had tears running down her face as well.

"Shhhh, I know. I'm in mourning too." Freya told her. "But we must continue to do what we must for the sake of Humanity. Cause will never be able to beat the Gods without risk or sacrifice."

"Must we… really… god this far? In this… fight?" Geir said, crying as she hugged Freya back.

"We have to… the very existence of all Humanity across the Multiverse is depending on this fight." Brunhild told her.

All that could be heard was the loud cries of Geir and the soft cries of Freya, mourning the loss of one of their own that would never see again. Meanwhile with Thor, he was making his way through the hall but due to his injuries he would nearly fall but Sif would appear just in time to catch him.

"Sif…" Thor said, looking at her.

"That was really hot, Honey~." Sif said to him a blush on her face.

"I'm glad you enjoy it." Thor told her.

"Did you enjoy yourself? Were you able to have fun?" Sif asked him, combing her fingers through his hair.

"It was the most fun I could have ever had." Thor said with a genuine smile.

"I'm glad." Sif said with a heartfelt smile. "You look like your dad now… will you restore your eye or arm? Given how severe the damage is." She said to her husband.

"No… I want to remember this moment for the rest of my life. The moment where I find my rival and fellow warrior." Thor said to her.

"Okay then… let's get you all healed up before you bleed out." Sif said, helping him to his feet. "And possibly fix Mjolnir."

"Hmmm." Thor said to her.

With Brunhild, Freya, and Geir they were picking the next fighter for the next round. Brunhild was wondering who to pick and Freya was helping her.

"The first battle is over. Our duty is to decide the next representative for Round 2." Brunhild stated, looking through.

"Indeed, there are a lot of choices to pick from, we must be careful of who we pick." Freya stated.

"If someone as strong as Kotal Kahn couldn't even stand up to the Gods. So who could?" Geir asked from the side.

"In that case… let's go with him." Brunhild, selecting their next fighter. "Amongst all of Humanity, the man most detested by the Gods… we shall bet on the man, with the strongest will."

"Wha…! File number… !?" Geir said with shock.
