AN: Who's ready for more!!!

Chapter 40

Alejandro's POV

Since arriving this morning with Miguel all I've been hearing from my brothers was them bragging about their recent movie premieres in movies that they each starred in.

We all got into show business young. Each of us was approached by talent scouts. No matter the auditions we ended up getting the lead role, as well as commercials and even getting some modelling gigs. Father, of course, didn't approve of us pursuing this as our career but seeing as it worked for us and made a great reputation for our family he allowed it.

Being the youngest of three was both a blessing and a curse, the blessing part was no bigger responsibility than to focus on school, my career and my athletic ability.

Then the cursed part of it was Jose and Carlos always had to up me in everything Jose did most of the time. And father would lecture me about how he wanted me to get into the family business of politics which bothered me a lot.

I had some free time from work I decided to take Miguel out camping since Heather was away with colleagues in Italy for a Fashion Show.

Then as a surprise my brothers joined us, saying they were in the neighbourhood and decided to visit. Miguel liked seeing his uncles when they came but he wouldn't be around them very much.

With our state-of-the-art motor home ready to go we left for the 3-hour long drive to the camping grounds.

Once we arrived we got the jet skis out on the water and enjoyed the view of the lake, but during our cruising, I noticed some rafts in the distance.

" Papa it looks like my classmates, " said Miguel pointing in their direction "So it is " I answered moving towards so before we knew it we brought the jet skis to the docks and we were

Hearing someone clear their throat I turn my head to look at my brothers " Al looks like you have no manners " says Jose unimpressed "He did always lack in a lot of things " teased Carlos followed by chuckling.

Rolling my eyes and taking a breath I smile "Everyone these are my older brothers Jose and Carlos " he says as each of them steps forward " I always thought your friends were interesting but they seem suitable to you " mocks Jose before chuckling.

(AN: we're pretty familiar with Jose from TDI: all stars. If I had to give Carlos a description it would be the same skin colour and height as Jose, lean medium build, dark brown hair in textures gentlemen's cut, green eyes like Alejandro )

" What's that supposed to mean? " asks Trent raising an eyebrow " As in Alejandro's group of friends were just so...plain like himself " explains Carlos messing up my hair "True Al had this thing of making friends with less than impressive people " laughs Jose making me frown.

" You two must have been a laughing riot amongst your group of friends," said Duncan grinning at them with his arms crossed "We were more popular than our little hermanito " answers Carlos " And most charming " adds Jose smiling.

" I bet just shows that people only liked you two for just what you are..." starts Duncan looking at Jose and Carlos "Clueless" he adds making everyone laugh quietly including myself leaving my brothers stunned.

Perhaps a truce is in order.

Miguel's POV

Madre mio!!! I'd never seen my uncles go quiet before but I kept to myself and laughed quietly.

I walk away from Papa and go to where the others were, they were all currently eating lunch quietly.

" Hola " I greeted as they all look up at me "Hi" greeted Louis and Mikey holding sandwiches " Hello Miguel," says Millie smiling at me very excited "Hey" I replied smirking but then I turn seeing Serenity reaching for something in the cooler.

" Found one," says Serenity pulling out an orange juice box and smiling " Oh hi Miguel " she greets seeing me "Hola señorita " I greeted giving her my best smile " Do you want some? " asks Serenity showing me a typical peanut butter sandwich.

" So what are you doing here? " asks Mikey before biting his sandwich "Papa wanted us to go camping and enjoy nature " I answer admiring the view of nature "Do you wanna eat with us? " asks Louis as I was about to give my answer Millie grabs my hand "of course, he will you can sit by me," she says dragging me away " wait but I wanted to sit with..." not letting me finish I'm taken to a nearby picnic table.

Mikey, Serenity and Louis just watch " Does Millie like Miguel? " asks Louis before biting his sandwich, " I think so " answers Mikey taking a sip of his grape juice " Aw that's so nice," said Serenity finally biting her sandwich.

?? Minutes Later

Finally, myself, Papa and my tio's ( uncles ) were off back to our campsite.

I was upset while Papa was talking with the other adults Millie wouldn't leave me alone and fed me her already-bitten sandwich, including making us share an apple juice. The whole time she talked about how Mikey wet the bed last night which was not interesting, and got him upset.

I didn't get a chance to do anything, barely listening to Millie I would look at Serenity picking flowers she looked so pretty and cute, I definitely would have preferred doing that with her or even playing near the water with Louis and Mikey.

As Papa drove the jet ski back to camp I looked back to the shore seeing the others get back in their rafts...

" Did you get to play with the others mijo? " asks Papa checking on me as I sit behind holding onto him tight "Sort of " I answered still upset that I didn't get to do much but mostly unable to talk with mi amor.

" Well your in luck we've been invited to join them for dinner tonight and spend the remaining night with them," says Papa making me smile "Really...cool " I replied getting excited. I guess this trip is about to get better.

Duncan's POV

5:00 pm

After another attempt at fishing, we called it a day and headed back.

I still couldn't believe we invited Alejandro, his brothers and Miguel to join us for dinner and stay at our campsite since we're all leaving tomorrow.

Once we got back to our campsite we decided to cook up hot dogs and burgers. Once again DJ got to cooking while the rest of us arranged the tables, got the condiments, chips, plates and buns ready.

I don't know what it was but hearing Alejandro's brothers make fun of him today just wasn't okay especially with all of us hearing, who would have thought in a hundred years I would stand up for him? As much as I didn't like the guy I thought I'd give him a helping hand.

" Alright tables are set " announced Trent smiling "Drinks are chilled " replies Geoff opening the cooler filled with iced beer, sodas and a bottle of whisky for me.

" Say Duncan that was something you did," said DJ looking in my direction as I set up the fire pit for later "Let's not bring it up shall we " I answer grabbing the firewood " There's nothing wrong with being nice " replies Tyler while lifting a cooler.

Shrugging my shoulders at the comment I keep arranging the firewood, " I guess in some way it's a bit of an improvement " I whispered thinking of my actions.

" Here Daddy," said Serenity walking up to me carrying a piece of wood "Hey what you got there? " I asked watching her walking towards the pit " I wanted to help you " she answers placing the wood in the fire pit " Thank you honey " I replied smiling at her good intentions followed by getting a hug.

I'll admit if I can be like this to the one who brightens my day the most then maybe I can show this side of myself more often "Daddy I like camping with you " said Serenity smiling "Me too maybe next time Mommy can come with us " I replied as we walk to the tables where everyone's hanging out but just then a rabbit comes out from the bush.

What is it with rabbits coming out of nowhere here?

" A bunny " points Serenity excitedly tugging my jeans "Oh yeah it's back " I reply looking at our furry visitor " It's so cute," she says as we watch it eat a leaf I was about to say something...

* HONK * * HONK *

All of our attention goes to this huge motor home approaching our campsite, I should have known Alejandro wouldn't be camping like this.

With the noise going on the rabbit hopped away "Daddy the bunny left " said Serenity sad watching it leave " I'm sorry but when too much noise is made animals run away " I explained picking her up joining the others as we watch this vehicle park.

" Geez could it get any louder? " asks Trent as the monster finally settled "Or be any bigger it's a house on wheels, " says Geoff looking stunned.

The side door opens and out walks Jose and Carlos followed by Alejandro then lastly Miguel. " Buenas Noches " they all greet walking towards us " glad you can make it " said Owen waving " we brought wine as a thank you for inviting us " says Alejandro presenting us a bottle.

Okay then maybe this won't be so bad...

" You guys arrived just in time burgers and hot dogs are ready " announced DJ making everyone head towards the tables.

Serenity's POV

I couldn't wait to enjoy the food me and the others were waiting for our daddy's to bring our plates. It smells so good.

" Mmmm I can't wait to have a burger " says Louis standing on the bench " me too " said Mikey smiling, I giggled seeing them so happy.

" What are you going to have Millie? " I ask looking at her while she hugs Miguel " I'm gonna try a hot dog " she answers smiling " me too " I say " what are you having Miguel? " I ask looking at him " I'm going to try the burger as well " he answered trying to get away from Millie...

" Okay guys dinner is served " said Daddy as him Louis, Mikey, Millie and Miguel's dad come to our table with food" YAY!!! " we cheered.

" Thank you " we all say as we each get plates " now be careful guys it's hot " said Louis dad smiling " enjoy your dinners" says Miguel's dad before they all go back to the other table.

Normal POV

While everyone enjoyed there dinner the door to the motor home was wide open giving two skunks the chance to climb in...

Throughout the dinner Alejandro's brothers have been going on and on about their lives and careers not once having any curtesy to ask anyone else anything. Along with a few remarks on Alejandro. Every so often when they looked at one another they would almost think of the same thing which was how it was a bad idea of inviting them.

" So you should of seen this particular scene from my movie it showed all my best sides and angles clearly meant for big screens " brags Jose making most of the guys either look bored, ate or drank.

" Wow " exclaims Trent clearly not wanting to hear more " impressive " says Geoff biting into his burger " yes...yes it was " sighs Jose smiling with pride.

" So enough about our exciting movie careers tell us what do you gentlemen do? " asks Carlos picking up his cup of wine " well we all have normal jobs that's exciting enough for us " answers Owen as he takes a shot at talking.

Taking a sip of his drink Duncan speaks " look man just because you make yourselves sound great doesn't mean your better than anyone here " he starts getting the others to perk up from what he was saying " we all work hard cause we have a purpose in life and no matter what it is we're all happy so don't ruin our last night of our trip with your egotistic attitudes " finishes Duncan but not before the guys applauded.

" Yeah you tell them Duncan man " said Geoff followed by the others including Alejandro laughing.

" Whatever your just jealous of us " says Carlos standing up from the table " Cobarde " cursed Jose also standing from the table before going into the motor home most likely they will stay in there for the remainder of the evening.

" Hey " calls Duncan just as Jose and Carlos were going inside " what?! " answers Carlos upset only to get the finger from Duncan only to make everyone laugh louder " Eres tan gracioso, idiota " replies Jose before slamming the door.

A little while later the campfire was lit and they were all roasting marshmallows for s'mores...

" Okay careful " said Tyler as currently held a stick with Mikey " just enough to get it gooey " said Millie watching the marshmallow.

" Alright now we put the marshmallow on the graham cracker and chocolate " said Trent as he quickly blew off the flame " it's cooked dad " replies Louis seeing the black marshmallow " true but it's still good " Trent explains as he sandwiches the marshmallow.

" Man this is awesome guys " said Geoff while preparing a marshmallow for the fire " yeah who would of thought all of us out here in the woods camping " DJ replied smiling before eating a s'more. " I know it's like back at camp only this time I find this way better " states Owen as he roasts a whole bunch of marshmallows on a stick.

" At least this time no challenges or terrible food by chef " answers Duncan watching the flame as Serenity enjoyed her s'more " Heather always mentioned how bad the meals were " said Alejandro giving Miguel a s'more " oh they were I'm surprised neither of us got sick eating it " said Tyler preparing s'mores.

" Say remember when I got skunked during that challenge " laughed Geoff eating his marshmallow " uh I don't think that was a skunk my man " said DJ smiling " really I could of sworn it was cause a skunk was sitting beside me during elimination " Geoff explains scratching his forehead.

Trent chuckled " dude you flew into a rank pile of socks when you got tossed off that moose " he explains making everyone laugh hard.

" Oh right but still good times " breathes Geoff " could you imagine getting skunked? " asked Tyler making everyone shake there head.

" AAAAAAAAHHHH !!!!!!! "

They all turn to the motor home that's moving.

" MOFETA!!!!! "

Alejandro's eyes open up hearing his brothers but also he couldn't resist smiling.

" Uh what's going on? " asks Trent as him and the others stand up approaching the vehicle.

" Remember how we just discussed skunks " he answers while crossing his arms " well the universe has its way and right now my brothers aren't alone in that motor home " adds Alejandro as his smile grew.

Just then the door bursts open along with a foul smell and both brothers currently reeking of being sprayed.

" Woah man " exclaimed Tyler as him and the others cover there noses to prevent from inhaling the smell " kids stay away okay go to your tent for now " instructed Duncan as him and the others approached the motor home carefully.

Just then two skunks quickly ran out of the vehicle " well it indeed was skunks " said DJ looking at the others " well this should be an interesting night " adds Owen before he farted in front of everyone " oops " he says.

Next Day

11:30 AM

" Alright packed and ready to go home " announced Duncan as he shuts the vans back door " good to go " answers Geoff and Owen as they loaded the coolers. Followed by everyone ready to go.

Meanwhile a heavy duty tow truck was loading the motor home, instructed to take it back to Alejandro's house where it will get cleaned and sanitized.

Alejandro and Miguel will be getting a ride with Tyler while Carlos and Jose ride with Geoff since his jeep was open so that way the smell of skunk wouldn't be as noticeable.

Last night Alejandro shared the tent with Geoff and Tyler, Miguel slept with the kids in there tent and both Jose and Carlos slept outside with blankets which they complained about.

" Let's head out " said Tyler as they all started there cars for the 3 hour long drive home " thanks nature we had fun " said Trent looking out the window.
