"Mission completed, Hokage-sama," said the voice behind the fox mask. He kneeled before the fifth Hokage who smiled at him. The fifth hokage was so happy to see his former student doing so well, but he had to tell Naruto who was coming back next week or else the consequences could be dire for everyone involved.
"Naruto, I am so sorry to tell you this..." said Obito as Naruto looked at him confused "your parents are coming back to Konoha in more than a week..."
Obito noticed the reaction quickly, Naruto's entire form had gone rigid. Obito knew that it would take some time for Naruto to get used to this and even more when they return to Konoha.
"Naruto, are you okay?" asked Obito as Naruto let out a breath.
"May I be excused?" asked Naruto.
"Of course."
Naruto shunshined away to the barracks to get changed. When he arrived, Sasuke was the first to greet him noting his captain's rigid movements and not focusing attitude.
"Naruto, what's wrong?" asked Sasuke.
"My parents are coming back to Konoha," said Naruto to which every Anbu present turned towards Naruto, some were confused why this reaction is but the more knowledgeable members such as Yugao and Tenzo knew of Naruto's history. After all it was the former Anbu commander who had famously been the one who had taken in Naruto and raised him since a baby.
-Flashback-
"I will take him in and raise him in Anbu," said Obito, he was dressed in a white cloak and wolf mask. He looked directly at Kakashi and Sarutobi both of which were shocked.
"You'll turn him into a weapon," said Sarutobi.
"No of course not, we will teach him to fight, but that will be when he is 4 not any earlier, we will teach him to read and write and of course, we will ensured that he will be played with, taking him out to the park and things like that," said Obito.
-End of flashback-
"Shouldn't you be happy?" asked Anbu operative known as Wolf.
"No, my parents abandoned me here since I was a baby," said Naruto as everyone turned to look at Naruto for that.
"What was their reasoning?" asked another Anbu operative.
"They didn't want me to get jealous of my siblings who held the beast's power, 'they were some type of children of prophecy who would save the world'."
"Who exactly was your father and mother?" asked a younger Anbu operative.
"You may know my father, his face is on the hokage mountain, more specifically he is the 4th person on the mountain," said Naruto as the new Anbu all looked shocked, they looked towards their captains who confirmed this with a nod.
"How do you feel Naruto?" asked a new voice. There stood the Anbu commander Weasal, who saw Naruto shrug his shoulders.
"I honestly don't know," said Naruto.
"Part of me feels excited to meet my siblings but the other part of me is angry at my parents," said Naruto.
"That is natural," said Weasal.
"Naruto, are you going to be leaving Anbu?" asked Tenzo.
"Of course not," said Naruto "I earned my position and rank, I am not going to leave just because my parents said so!"
"Good," said Tenzo.
"Now what do you plan to do?" asked Sasuke.
"I don't think I will be able to forgive my parents but I hope I can get along with my siblings," said Naruto.
"I am pretty sure that it was Lord Jiriaya who told Lord Minato about the prophecy," said Anbu operative Zo.
"Looks like, Lord Jiriaya is going back in a casket," said Naruto darkly.
-In another location-
"Minato, dear, are you ready to go?" asked Kushina to her husband who smiled.
"Yeah, how about the kids?" asked Minato. Out came a blond haired girl, dressed in normal clothes and a red haired girl. The blond haired girl was Naruko while Himari was the red haired girl.
"Are you ready go meet your brother?" asked Kushina to the kids.
"Of course!" shouted Naruko.
"Mom, how skilled do you think he'll be?" asked Himari.
"Honestly not very skilled, we are most likely going to have to help him a lot," said Kushina "after all, the academy had depreciated in skill recently."
"Told you, Naruko," said Himari arrogantly.
"Now children, even if he isn't very skill, we should help him," said Minato.
"Do you think he will hate us?" asked Kushina, as the children rushed away.
"Of course not, he'll understand," said Minato as he swept Kushina into his hands.
-Back in Konoha-
Naruto was on the training field, dressed in a white cloak and fox mask, Opposite him was Sasuke Uchiha except his black cloak was no where to be seen, instead it was the grey flak jacket, grey arm guards and gloves with the dog mask covering his face.
"Ready, Uchiha?" asked Naruto.
"Of course, captain," said Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke rushed at each with other and met in the middle of the training field. Sasuke threw out a series of punch's but returned and blocked by Naruto. The taijutsu was fearsome, one couldn't believe they are training, Naruto then kicked Sasuke back who went through some hand signs.
"Fire style: great fireball jutsu!" shouted Sasuke as he shot out the famous coming off age technique of the Uchiha Clan. Naruto however was going through his own hand signs.
"Earth style: mud wall!" shouted naruto as he summoned a small wall that blocked the flame. Sasuke then threw some lightning infused Kunai destroying the wall.
"Water style: water dragon bullet!" shouted Naruto as out of the water came a giant dragon made of water which charged at Sasuke.
"Fire style: great fireball jutsu!" shouted Sasuke as he released another fireball to quell the water dragon, this time using more chakra in the attack tiring him out. Sasuke looked for his captain but couldn't find him only to feel a cold piece of metal at his neck.
"Sasuke, please practice some earth style jutsu, you do realize that it could save your life if you encounter a water style, I suggest mud wall and earth flow spears," said Naruto as a bluenette and a dark haired boy walked over.
"How are you, captain?" asked Shikamaru to which he received a smile from the Anbu as he took off his mask.
"I am fine, don't worry about anything," said Naruto.
"What about your parents?" asked Hinata.
"We'll worry about them when they arrive, there is no point to worry about them now," said Naruto to which Shikamaru and Hinata nodded.
"Do you think any of this years graduates will go into Anbu?" asked Hinata.
"No they lack the darkness for this line of work," said Naruto.
