On the day of the entrance exam Uraraka walked to UA with Venom resting inside of her. After a big breakfast of chocolate pancakes Venom felt ready for the exam but Uraraka was pretty nervous.

'Come on Uraraka, you got this… right?' Uraraka thought to herself.

'Yes you do Ochako. Think about it even without your quirk or my assistance you can run 88 km/hr and can lift 6 tons.' Venom told her.

'I know but…'

'No buts, your quirk has also improved significantly.'

"Ok let's do this!" Uraraka said out loud drawing some weird looks as she went through the UA gates.

Then she saw a green haired boy trip over his own feet. Not thinking, she reached out and made him float. As soon as he got his feet back under him she released him of her quirk.

"Th-thank you." The boy said bowing repeatedly.

"No problem." Uraraka said cheerfully. "Well I'll see you inside, we don't want to be late."

As Uraraka walked away Venom spoke into her mind, 'He's starring, you want me to eat his eyes?"

'What! No of course not, we wouldn't want to hurt a potential hero now would we? Besides I wouldn't want to hurt a potential friend.'

'You mean boyfriend.'

Uraraka gets flustered at that and tries to hide her face, when an angry blonde storms past her and almost clips her shoulder but she turns sideways at the last second. The blonde storms past grumbling about a, useless deku?

'I wonder who he was talking about?' Uraraka thinks to herself.

'I'm pretty sure he was talking about that green haired boy we helped.' Venom answered trying to be helpful.

'Well we don't know ether of them so we can't judge. Yet.' Uraraka thought with a small frown.

The written exam went by too quickly for Uraraka's liking, but she was confident that she passed. Now she was sitting in a large auditorium waiting for instructions on the practical exam.

She noticed that, Deku was it? …was sitting a few rows behind her near a blue haired boy with glasses.

"Can I get a HEEEEYYYY!!!!!" President Mic yelled.

Uraraka covered her ears and winced at the sound. 'So that is what you meant when you said that loud sounds are painful.'

'Yes.' Venom's voice sounding shaky.

Suddenly a hand shot up behind her.

"Yes applicant number 4738 what is your question?" President Mic shouted.

"Sir you only mentioned three robots but the brochure that was handed out says that there are four. If this is an oversight on the behalf of UA I find it completely disgraceful that UA would make this sort of mistake. And you," Uraraka turns to look, "you have been muttering this whole time. It is distracting."

At that, Venom got fed up with the kid and took over Uraraka's body making her stand up, turn around, and say,

"You are being more distracting than the boy who's muttering, whom most of us can't hear, and I'm sure if you let President Mic continue he would have told us about the fourth robot when the time came."

"You are right, my apologies. Please continue President Mic."

"Thank you little listeners. As I was saying, there will be a fourth robot, but it is worth zero points so it is more of an obstacle. Just run away and look for more robots that are worth points. Now everyone, your battle center is in your pamphlet so head to the bus with your battle center letter on it. Plus Ultra everyone," President Mic yelled.

When Uraraka got to her battle center she began doing her stretches to get ready when she heard someone scolding another student for trying to distract her. She started to turn to see who it was when President Mic yelled, "BEGIN."

She charged in while everyone else stood there dumbfounded.

"THERE ARE NO COUNT DOWNS IN REAL LIFE GO GO GO."

Everyone charged after Uraraka. They could barely see her floating robots in the distance before dropping them from a considerable height. This went on for the rest of the exam until the last minute when the zero pointer made its appearance right in front of Uraraka and several other students. The robot put its massive hand on the roof of the building next to them causing rubble to fall down upon them. Acting quickly, Uraraka floated the three students next to her while pushing them away from the robot. In doing this, she was unable to get out of the way herself and was pinned to the ground by a large piece of rubble.

As the robot got closer, venom spoke to her, 'we have to get out of here. By my estimate the robot will step on us!'

'I can't reach the rubble to get all five fingers on it and it's too awkward to lift from this angle.' Uraraka thought back.

The rubble suddenly shifts as the rumble of the zero pointer steps closer, twisting her ankle painfully.

Letting out a cry of pain, she hopes someone in the vicinity could hear her or if it came to it, there weren't any cameras or people around to see.

A yell rings out and she sees the boy she saved at the entrance to the campus flying towards the zero pointer.

With a loud cry of "SMASH" the boy punched the zero pointer in the face cratering it significantly.

Uraraka followed his descent and saw he had no way to land safely, so as soon as she could, her spider sense guiding her, at just the right moment to slap him in the face; all five fingers connecting and causing him to float. Letting out a sigh of relief, she touched her fingers together and said.

"Release."

Dropping the boy, she dubbed Deku according to venom, but she didn't want to call him that unless she knew it was his name.

A buzzer went off signaling the end of the test to which Uraraka promptly threw up due to quirk over-usage.

Medical bots came and removed the rubble pining her to the ground and put her and the other kid onto stretchers. Taking them to the entrance to the mock city, Recovery Girl assessed their injuries and gave them each a quick kiss to heal them.

'I could have healed you myself. One of the abilities I forgot to mention is the ability to heal my host.' Venom spoke into Uraraka's mind.

'Why didn't you then?' Uraraka answered.

'Think about it, if you had come out from under that rubble unscathed then people would be suspicious of you because it would have nothing to do with your quirk.'

'Fair point.'

After getting sent home she goes to the first teacher she can find which just so happens to be President Mic.

'I don't like him.' Venom thinks

'Is that because he's too loud?'

'Yes.'

"What do you need little listener?"

"That kid that saved me from the zero pointer. I heard him say he didn't get any points. Well, I wanted to give him some of mine so he'll get a fair chance to get in."

"Don't worry, he got in."

"What!?"

"Yes, do you really think that fighting villains is the only thing we look for in this test? No, he got in now. Run on home and await your letter to see if you got in."

Later at home.

"So how did you do?" Mrs. Uraraka asked.

"Well I think I did pretty well on the written portion.

And I destroyed quite a few robots for the practical. I think I was doing well until…" Uraraka started.

"Until what?" Mr. Uraraka wondered aloud.

"There was a giant robot that caused some of the building next to me to collapse. Some of the debris landed on me pinning me to the ground."

Uraraka's parents gasped in unison.

"I couldn't reach the debris that had pinned me down and broke my ankle. Then another kid jumped up and punched the robot and toppled it right before it could step on me."

"Well you should thank him next time you see him." Mr. Uraraka said.

"He sounds like good boyfriend material." Mrs Uraraka said with a mischievous smile.

"Mom!" Uraraka shouted waving her hands in front of her face and getting flustered.

"Ok I get it, you want to get to know him first." A bell goes off. "Oh that's dinner everyone wash up while I get it on the table."
