The next morning Penelope woke up and it took her a few seconds to recognize where she was, she wasn't in her apartment or she wasn't where she was staying with her other team when she was undercover. As she looked at the scenery in front of her she smiled, she smiled knowing that she was in Derek's bedroom, a room where she had spent several nights before making mad passionate love with Derek.
She tried to lay still but the baby had other ideas as it was currently kicking her kidneys, she flinched and Derek said, "you alright sweetness?", she said, "sorry, did I wake you up?", he said, "nope, I've been awake for a few minutes". She slowly rolled onto her back and looked over at him and said, "why didn't you say anything if you were awake?", he smiled and said, "I love watching you sleep and having you back in my arms was a bonus".
Penelope said, "thank you", he said, "for what?, she said, "last night, we hadn't had a movie night in ages and it was a lot of fun", he said, "thank you for coming goddess, maybe we can do it again soon?", she said, "sounds highly possible but right now your child is kicking my kidneys soooooo I've gotta wobble to the bathroom" as she threw the covers back and got up out of bed and made her way across the room and disappeared into the bathroom.
As Derek laid there he couldn't help but smile, he finally had his baby girl back into his life and no matter what it took he was gonna keep her in his life, he was never gonna doubt her again, not ever. He loved her with his whole heart, body, mind and soul and nobody or nothing would ever ever change that", he was pulled from his thoughts when she walked back into the room and called his name.
He looked at her and said, "sorry sweetness, I was just thinking", she said, "aboutttttt?", he said, "us", she said, "ahhhhh, us, I totally understand because I've been giving us a lot of thought to". Derek raised up and said, "and what did you come to in your thoughts baby girl?", she sat down beside him on the bed and started rubbing her stomach with one hand while she intertwined fingers with him and said, "that I never want to let you go again".
Derek leaned in and said, "I love the way you think gorgeous" as his lips descended down onto hers, Penelope moaned against his lips as his tongue slid into her mouth, as their tongues battled for control his hand pulled lose from hers and wrapped around her neck, pulling her body closer to his as they continued to kiss.
They pulled apart when their cells started ringing, he sighed and said, "to be continued baby girl?", she said, "definitely hotstuff, definitely" as they grabbed their phones and said, "Morgan", "Garcia". When their calls were over Derek said, "I'll see you at the office sweetness", she kissed his lips quickly and said, "that you will my vision, that you will" as she stood up and walked out of the room and down the hall toward the staircase.
Less than an hour later Derek looked up to see his baby girl walking off of the elevator with a smile on her face, she was met by JJ and Emily for a few seconds before they were called into the round table room for debrief for another case. When the debrief was over she walked the team to the elevator while Hotch gave her instructions, when he was finished Derek pulled her to the side, cupped her face and whispered, "I love you" as his lips descended down onto hers.
When they pulled apart she said, "be safe handsome, I love you too", he stepped onto the elevator and said, "always princess, always", she stood smiling and waving to her family as the doors closed. She blew out a deep breath and then turned around and started heading down the corridor that led to her lair because the sooner they found the unsub the sooner her family would be back to her safe and sound where they belonged.
