A Matter Of Trust-Ch 37
Fran was all smiles as she saw her family walking one by one through her front door, she waved and welcomed everybody happily, when she saw Penelope she hugged her and put her hand on her growing stomach and said, "how is my grand baby doing, is he or she behaving today?", Penelope said, "the little one is very active today" and like the baby heard her it kicked against her hand.
Dave said, "it's been a long time since we were all together as a family and now we have several new members", Fran and the girls looked at him as he said, "our new family members are Nick Jones. Ron Donaldson, Tim Waverly, Rick Davies, Mick Rawson and you already know Chad".
Sarah, Desi and Fran all smiled as they shook hands with the newest members of the family, Penelope couldn't help but notice that Sarah was instantly smitten with Tim and Desi couldn't keep her eyes off of Nick. Penelope said, these are the men that took such good care of me while I was working undercover with them, I owe them so much, they were always there for me whenever I needed them and I will forever be grateful to and for them".
Mick said, "you are an amazing person Penelope and we are all here for you anytime day or night you need anything", she smiled and said, "thank you, thank you all, I can't tell you how much that means to me". Fran said, "why don't we all head into the dining room because I've prepared a feast for an army", Hotch said, "well you have a small army on your hands here Fran" as he motioned around to everybody.
Penelope got Sarah and Desi's attention as well as Tim and Nick, she said, "I don't know about the others but I couldn't help but notice the sparks between the four of you sooooooo Tim take good care of Sarah". Tim smiled and said, "don't worry Penelope, I will, I will" as they stood smiling happily at each other, Penelope then looked at Nick and said, "Nick you have to take good care of Desi for me, she's an amazing little sister and I love her with all of my heart".
Nick said, "don't worry about Desi, I'll take good care of her", she smiled and said, "I knew that I could count on the two of you", she stood grinning as she watched the foursome walk out with the couples hand in hand. She the felt two arms wrap around her waist, she looked over her shoulder and saw Derek standing there, he said, "what have you been up to sweetness, are you matchmaking our team with my sisters?", she said, "of course I am, I want my girls to be taken good care of".
Derek said, "well since they're your girls are you still my girl?", she said, "always and forever angel fish, always and forever" as his lips descended down onto hers in a passionate kiss, they were so caught up in their kiss that they didn't notice the family had come back and were watching them from the door.
They pulled apart when they heard JJ and Emily giggle, Penelope said, "what's so funny?", JJ said, "ohhhh nothing, nothing at all", Derek held out his arm and said, "come on baby girl, let's go eat, let's get our baby and his or her momma fed". Penelope intertwined fingers with Derek and said, "lead the way handsome, lead the way" as they followed the rest of the family and headed through to the huge dining room.
For the next several hours they all laughed, ate and talked together as a family and then Sarah and Tim snuck off quickly followed by Desi and Nick, Penelope couldn't help but grin as she watched the couples head in separate directions to spend some time alone together.
Derek laughed and said, "woman you won't be happy until everybody is taken will you?", she said, "nope", she then wrapped her arm around his waist and said, "I want everybody to be as happy as I am". Derek kissed the top of her head and said, "I love you", she said, "and I love you sugar and I love you" as she leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips, they pulled apart and walked back over to rejoin the conversation that the rest of the family was having about nurseries and baby clothes because time for the babies arrival was getting closer and closer and they wanted to be ready for when he or she arrived.
