Finding Someone to Dance With
After Kiba leaves Sakura by herself at prom who will she dance with?
I was standing against the glass tank filled with exotic fishes watching my date dance with another girl. I should've gone home but I paid too much money for my prom ticket. I sighed and walked to the bathroom to find a bunch of girls in their glittery makeup and sexy dresses that showed off there perfect curves and boobs. One of the girls was Ino Yamanaka number one gossiper in our school, as soon as I walked in the bathroom she started talking about Kiba dancing with another girl. "Did you see the way Kiba Inuzaka just left Sakura Haruno all alone!" and then it started like a wild fire. "She look so pathetic standing against a fish tank all by herself!" And another comment "She looked like a total loner!"
My eye's started to swell up with tears. "And her stupid red ball gown is hideous it just makes her look like a strawberry." I looked at Ino through the mirror she avoided my gaze. Yeah BFF'S doesn't actually mean forever. I ran out of the bathroom crying. A couple minutes later I was standing in outside front of the aquarium. I sat on the steps and pulled my knees close to my chest and laid my head on my knees and started crying. Sometime later I felt somebody tap my shoulder I didn't bother to look up.
"Sakura?" Sasuke the cool kid! Why was he here we only speak when he gets injured in football or need helps in class why would he be here! I looked up to see him staring down at me. "Look I know what happen between you and Kiba and I don't thinks it's cool what he did back there and I also know what Ino and her friends said back there." He said that as if he felt guilty. But I wasn't falling for that bull. "OK and? Thanks?" he reached out his hand. I grabbed his strong hand and he pulled me up. "And I wanted to know if you wanted to slow dance with me?" I shot him a glare and pushed him away. I like Sasuke since middle school and he never returned the feelings. He's probably playing a prank on me.
"What about your date….Ino?"
"I broke up with her I can't stand mean girls." I looked up at his obsidian eyes and I questioned if I could trust him or not?
"Look Sakura I may be a 'cool kid' but I'm not mean you can trust me." He held out his arm for me to wrap my in waiting for my response. I hesitantly "You're not playing a prank on me Uchiha?" he looked down at me "I promise." Took his arm in mine as he led us back in the building. Once we were on the dance floor he wrapped his strong arms around my waist and pulled me in close. I blushed a little but wrapped my arms around his neck. Everybody surrounded us and started whispering around us while dancing with their dates.
"Sasuke?"
"Hn?"
"What is are relationship and how come you hardly talk to me?" I asked fearing the worst.
"You" I prepare myself for the impact of his words.
"You always avoided me Sakura accept when I needed some type of medical assistant from my injuries in the sports I play. And as far as are relationship goes I've always loved red and pink." I blushed at him and he pulled me into my first kiss. "I love you Sakura always have and I always will and you look beautiful tonight."
Right then I knew this night and many more to come will be imbedded in my mine forever.
