I know it's been a while and to be honest I was not going to continue with the story but I'm back and I'm hoping to wrap up the story. I do have a storyline planned out for this Klaroline story but I've been writing my own book that I'm really excited about. However if you guys want me to continue I'll get into the good stuff and stick to it till it's done. I promise, no distractions. So I hope you guys like this chapter and the story because you guys are the reason for this continuation. Enjoy :)
I fell into a deep sleep that night. I'm not really sure what had happened but all I know is I felt amazing this morning I must have dreamt about Klaus. It's time for me to finally get some practice for ballet. I head over to the studio where class was about to start.
"Hey," Elena says rudely.
"Hi, I have got a lot to tell you." I say.
"What about?" Bonnie comes out behind me.
"Klaus and I." A smile is visible on my face.
I tell them about the date with Tyler and how terrible it was. Also how Klaus came over to confess his love. I didn't tell them about the painting because I wanted it to be our secret.
"I can't believe you would do that to yourself." Bonnie says and rolls her eyes at me.
"Well Bonnie," Elena starts out, "it's not like you can judge. I mean Jeremy, even though he is my brother, he has done a lot of stuff that you just push aside. I love him but you do not make him out to be perfect when he's not."
"That is in his past now. He quit the team and his drug habbits and I am grateful for that." Bonnie replied back.
Elena continues, "But that is not the point Bonnie. I mean what would you do if I told you right now that he started doing pot again."
"I love him Elena. Do you doubt that?"
"I am just wondering if you would still love him if he went back to his old ways. If you would help him deal with it and help him sober up or if you would just leave him in the dust.
Bonnie looked confused, she had no clue what to say. "Bonnie?" I cut in with my voice soft trying to get an answer. At that very moment she went into the studio and started practicing. Elena and I stood by the door watching her face trying to stay emotionless but on the verge of crying.
I got ready for class and went inside where I have no sight of Bonnie and Elena. I assume Bonnie had a melt down so Elena took her to the washroom to calm her down.
I make my way inside to see Ms. Sommers or Jenna who is also Elena's aunt. I then see Tyler sitting at the piano. I look away but before I'm about to walk away I hear my name called out, "Caroline, how are you?"
I turn around to meet his gaze, "Great, listen Tyler I need to tell you something."
"Well I wanted to ask you where we should go on our second date. I was thinking a beautiful lunch where we can feast on the best food available in the county."
"No Tyler, that isn't what I wanted to talk about. I wanted to tell you that there won't be a second date. I'm sorry, there is just no connection between us."
"Caroline, I will never give up on you."
"Hey Ty," I hear Hayley say as she came up to Tyler and I. Geez no one likes her and yet she's always trying to stick herself into everyone's business. "So I was thinking we hang out today. It's been awhile since we hung out."
"You know what Hayley, maybe another time." Tyler says then turns back to the piano to play.
"Wow tence." She continues talking, "Are you and Ty in a fight or something?"
"Just a disagreement," I respond. "I don't really care what he thinks of me though."
"Wait, I thought you two were an item." She says confused.
"No, I'm kind of with someone else at the moment." I admit.
"Oh, I see. So who is the lucky guy who gets to date Ms. Caroline Forbes?" she say with savir attitude.
"You wouldn't know him and why are you so concerned about my life?" I am honestly confused on the intent of this conversation.
"All I see is you flirting with Tyler and yet you tell me that you are with someone else. Are you lying Caroline? Have you made up a fake boyfriend to make Tyler jealous?"
"No, I'm not lying. I don't think you have to right to my personal life. Honestly Hayley I think you should continue practicing and forget this ever happened because it is clearly affecting your ability to separate reality from fantasy." I say calmly so she does not blow up in the studio. Once she catches a breath and seems to have her head straight I walk away to go practice myself. Talk about crazy. I mean it's totally obvious that she has the hots for Tyler but couldn't she calm down just a little bit?
She had no right to be asking me questions like she did. She had no reason to know that I'm dating Klaus. The whole idea of her getting into my business is completely ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that she thought I was flirting when I was actually rejecting him. All I know is that she's nuts for Tyler Lockwood and I really could not care less.
I go one with the class forgetting the conversation. The class starts just in time for Bonnie and Elena to walk in. I do not start up a conversation and blocked out everything else in the world. All I could focus on was the music and the dance.
"Alright ladies," Jenna announces to all of us when class is about to end, "great job. Make sure to practice because we are almost finished the choreography for the show. I will see you guys next week."
Ouch my feet kill like a bitch, it almost seemed that the class was going on for hours. Before I could even blink, Bonnie had already left the studio.
"Elena?" I grab her hand and pull her towards me. "What happened before class? Things still seem pretty intense."
"That's because it still is." Her head moves from looking at me to looking on the ground. "I apologized and that it just came out and she accepted it but for the rest of the class I didn't hear a word out of her."
"To be honest, you gave her a real knockout. First of all it was a bitchy move but at the same time she needed to hear that to see where her loyalties lie when it comes to your brother. It's better for Jeremy's sake."
Her head lifts up, "How so?"
"Well atleast you will know. If she stays with him, it means that she will always be there with him. If she leaves him then you will know that your brother deserves better."
"I just don't want him getting hurt, you know?"
"Yeah I know but you can't protect everyone. And Bonnie needs to understand what a relationship really means." That was probably the best thing I could this of to say at the moment.
"Thank you Caroline." She gives me a tight hug and I give you one back. "I just don't want him thinking that he has to handle everything alone just because Bonnie will not be there for him."
"I understand."
"Hey girls," Tyler comes up from behind us.
"Hi, Tyler." Elena replied, "I'm going to leave now."
Elena, geez. What did you have to leave me alone like that?
"Hey Tyler, I really have to run." I say while walking through the main entrance.
"Wait Caroline, can we talk to a second." I stop outside the main doors of the studio building.
"I have said all I needed to," I hear a honk. Klaus is there in his car waiting for me. He's so sweet. "Tyler, you really need to get over me. Go for Hayley, I know she's totally into you. Goodbye."
I walk away from Tyler with no other words and not taking a single look back. "Hello, Love." Klaus say's as I enter his car and a smile suddenly appears on my face.
"Hello to you too" I smile at him and we take off in for a joy ride. We dive off to the countryside where all we can see around us is trees and beautiful plots of farmland. I didn't question the point of the drive until he pulled up to an old farmhouse. "Where are we going?" I asked him confused.
"You'll see." He replied with a grin that had me needed to talk no longer. We pull up to the home and get out of the car, "Welcome to my family's getaway house."
"A get away house?" I responded confused.
"Yeah, whenever me and my siblings want to get away from my parent's nonsense we always came here to forget everything that might be going on back home."
"So what kind of stuff do you have at this 'getaway house.'"
"My uncle lives here to take care of the fuites, chickens, and obvcourse horses." My face goes into a smile that I cannot even attempt to hide. "I see you are a fan of horses." He smiles back at me.
"Of course, they are such beautiful animals."
"You want to ride one?"
"I wouldn't know how."
"Then I guess you'll have to ride with me." We head to the barn where there are 4 beautiful horses. One black, one brown, another brown but it has a black spot over his left eye, and one white horse with long black hair. Klaus walks up to the black horse, "This one is mine, he was a small poney when I first got him. He stayed by my side since that day. Horses can be a lot more loyal than people, and even more understanding."
"That's true but people can be understanding too. You just have to give them the chance to know who you are."
"Come on, let's go for a ride."
He hopped onto his hours then reached his hand down to help me up. It felt as if I was in a fairytale on a horse with my handsome prince. We ride around the farm just because we could, my arms wrap around him as lay my head on his back and place small kisses along his neck and shoulder.
"You're distracting me." he says with his sexy low voice.
"Oh well, there is nothing you can do about it." I say teasing him with my words.
"There are many things I can do to you once we get off this horse." He says.
My face turns bright red, "I guess you will have to try."
"I guess I will," he replied, "but for now, how are you enjoying the view?"
"It's beautiful, it is peaceful and quiet. I love it."
"I am glad to see you happy and not so tense. This a place where you can relax."
"Well how can I ever be upset or tense in a beautiful place with you by my side." I reply as we continue riding through the forest and back to the farm.
We arrive at the farm. "Niklaus, why are you here?" A man comes out of the stable looking extremely angry.
"I was showing my friend around the farm." he says hesitant. Klaus hops of the horse and helps me down.
"I'm sorry for intruding, I just love horses." I say trying to calm down the tension between them but it is no use. His father still holds a look of anger in his eyes.
Klaus places his right hand around my waist and says to his dad. "What are you doing here, father?"
"Searching for your mother." he replied back.
"Why? You know she's on a business trip."
"That's what she said when she had an affair and you my son are the result of that monstrosity." he screams out in anger.
"Caroline, come on let's go." he turns to me and ignores his father's rage. Klaus brings the horse into the stable, then took my hand and we left.
As soon as we leave the property and enter his car, I can't help but ask. "Klaus, what happened?"
"That is a story for another time love. Hopefully I will never have to tell you the stories of my father." he replies, turns on the car, then we head home.
Klaus took me home, kissed me on the cheek and we said goodnight and that was the end of my gruesome day.
Hope you guys enjoyed that. It seems Daddy Michaelson isn't very happy at all. Will that cause a strain on the Klaroline romance? Guess you'll have to find out. I'm glad I'm back guys and make sure to leave some awesome reviews ;)
