Grover tilted his head to the side, staring at his new roommate curiously.

He could not tell if Kenji was a demigod, or not. The strong scent of a demigod was on him, clinging to his clothes. Right as Kenji walked through the door and passed by him, the scent of a demigod was strong on him and Grover had thought immediately that he had found a demigod. But as he sat down with Kenji, he found that the scent was not Kenji himself, the scent was clinging to his clothes, which means he had friends that were demigods. Powerful demigods.

Grover picked up a conversation with Kenji and learned that he had two siblings. Kenji offered for him to meet them. He of course agreed.

He sat patiently as Kenji conversed with his siblings. Kenji finished his first call and informed him that Bianca agreed. He assumed Bianca was one of Kenji's siblings. Kenji picked up his phone again and made another call. During the call, several emotions flitted across his face. Confusion. Worry. Reassurance. Kenji conversed back and forth with his sibling. Kenji slowly removed the phone from his ear and told Grover that Nico, his other sibling, also agreed. Apparently, they will be meeting each other at the cafeteria in the morning.

Grover agreed.

He hobbled over to his bed, keeping up the facade that he has trouble walking, "G'night."

Kenji replied slumped back down onto his bed and wished a 'Good Night' back at Grover, the sound muffled by the pillow in his face, "Night."

Kenji stretched as he sat on his bed, waiting for Grover to wake up. He had already gotten ready for the day such as taking a shower, changing clothes, brushing his teeth, and such. All he has to do right now is wait for Grover to wake up. It is very surprising how deeply his roommate can sleep. He was always a light sleeper.

He looked over at the small alarm clock sitting on a small desk in between his roommate and his bed. It was 5:30 A.M. A small tinge of pain spread across his fingertips, spreading to the rest of his body. At first he thought that it was just pines and needles, but soon came another stab of pain, stronger, also starting at his fingertips. He stared confused before his eyes fractionally widened. Has it really been that long?, he wondered. It has only been a week. No, two weeks. Actually, a month.

He mentally banged his head on a wall, spending time with Nico and Bianca have made him careless.

He looked around him cautiously. Staring at Grover a little bit longer. Grover laid on his right side, facing the wall. He strained his ears. He heard soft snores from the other side of the room and even breathing. Satisfied that Grover was asleep and that he was not going to wake any time soon, Kenji closed his eyes and delved deep into his mind.

Taking a deep breath, he opened his mental eyes, coming face to face with a familiar wall. Except something was different. There were more cracks, Kenji realized. The usual spider web cracks spread across the wall haphazardly, the cracks were much more deeper. A loud crack resonated across the 'room'. Another deep crack spread across the wall, the spider web branching out even more. A small piece of the wall that was surrounded with cracks swayed slightly.

Kenji unconsciously inhaled sharply, refraining from breathing. The small piece stabilized. Kenji sighed, relived. He narrowed his eyes at the wall, confused to why the cracks were getting bigger.

He suddenly heard a small thump. His 'head' swiveled around, trying to pinpoint the exact origin if the sound. Another thump sounded. The wall. The center of the wall. Kenji edged cautiously, a little bit closer to the damaged wall. The thump sounded again. This time he was certain the thump was coming from the center of the cracks. He edged closer even more. Kenji laid his head on the wall, at a less damaged area.

A small voice hissed from the other side, "Free... I need to be FREE!" Another thump sounded. Anger was laced in the voice's voice.

As if the voice sensed that he was there listening, the voice gleefully hissed, "Percy... Free me..."

Kenji reeled back in shock. No one had called him that name since long ago. How would the voice know that name?

The voice repeated over and over again, "Percy... Percy... Free..."

Ignoring the voice and closing his 'eyes', he felt the constant banging of the voice from the other side of the wall. Intense emotions emerged from the other side. Mostly anger and sorrow.

He blinked, even more confused. Well, anybody would get cranky, stuck behind the wall. But what is behind that wall?

A sudden memory attacked him. More exactly, what he had read.

The survival rates of even being disowned is extremely low.

He gasped in shock and stumbled slightly backwards.

He was dying.

If that thing escaped, he would die, he surmised, already drawing up his conclusion . All the signs pointed to it. The cold hard fact that whether he wanted it or not, he was going to die. He could already feel the pain of the wall breaking down.

He shook his 'head', clearing his mind. Putting that to the back of his mind, he focused on the broken wall. He tried to push the cracks close, but had never had he tried to close cracks as deep as these. A smaller force joined him, though it was hesitant. He closed most of the outer cracks with the slight help of the other force before he was thrown out of his mind.

Sweat poured down his face and he came face to face with his roommate. Grover. Grover stared at him with worried eyes.

He asked softly, "You okay?"

Kenji lifted his hand and swiped away the droplets of sweat pouring down his forehead, "I'm fine, nightmare," he lied, gIrving him a strained smile.

Grover nodded understandingly, "Yeah. Sometimes I get them too. Nasty things."

Kenji faked a weak smile one more time, "You could say that again."

Geez, all this smiling is making my cheeks hurt.

Grover opened his mouth, probably to say that again, but Kenji held a hand up, irritated that he was actually going to say it again, "Not literally. Don't say it again."

Grover closed his mouth. A comfortable silence descended on them. Kenji wiped more sweat off his face, "What time is it?"

Grover glanced at the clock, "Seven."

Kenji stood up and stretched, "We should probably get going."

Grover followed his lead, "Sure, just wait one sec."

Grover limped toward his pair of crutches that were leaning against his bed. After he got situated with his crutches, Kenji opened the door for him and Kenji followed after, closing the door softly behind the two.

They walked towards the cafeteria in a comfortable silence.

Kenji's eyes bounced all over the place, never staying in one place, though the reason is not ADHD as most demigods. Kenji was looking for any signs of danger from within the school.

Kenji's hands made their way to the sides of his hips feeling the familiar bludge on his hip. There was two guns on either side of the hip and his trustworthy knife sat on an arm holster that by the sleeve of the jacket he was wearing.

You can never be too paranoid.

Grover had started to try to start some casual conversations, but as Kenji stayed silent, he just halted his attempts and resumed walking alongside Kenji as they made their way to the cafeteria.

They swung open the closed cafeteria doors. Kenji looked around. There were not many people there that early in the morning.

Kenji remarked, "People aren't really morning people here, right?"

Grover paid no mind to the lack of people in the cafeteria, "You got that right."

Kenji looked at the place where you buy your food, "Not even the lunch ladies is here. The food isn't here either."

Grover looked over, "Oh, bummer."

Suddenly excitement lit up his face. He spun around quickly and grasped Kenji's shoulders shaking him, "Do you know what day it is?" he demanded.

Kenji tried to get rid of the tenseness that overtook his shoulders, "No, I don't know what day it is."

Grover looked at him with wide eyes, "It's Enchilada Day!"

Kenji looked around confused, "So..."

Grover grasped Kenji's shoulders harder, "It's. My. Favorite. Food," he punctuated.

Gently, but not really, Kenji loosened Grover's iron like grip on his shoulders and said mockingly soothingly, "Don't worry. I'll just get you Enchiladas for your birthday. It's okay."

It doesn't seem like Grover heard him as his eyes were unfocused and he was staring at outer space, possibly dreaming about his favorite food, enchiladas.

Kenji wandered away, sitting at an empty table (there were many of those).

He was soon joined by Grover that had broken out of his daydream.

An hour later, people started to trickle in. A half an hour before, the lunch ladies arrived and started to sell breakfast.

Kenji absentmindedly asked Grover, "When does school start?"

Grover replied, as it implying Kenji was stupid, "Today's Saturday."

"Oh." Kenji thought to himself, man I'm an idiot.

The cafeteria was soon filled with laughs and conversations. As time continued to pass, Kenji'a eyes were drawn continuously to the closed cafeteria doors. He thought worriedly, where are those two? I had never failed a job before.

Right as he started to panic, the doors swung open revealing Bianca and Nico.

Nico spotted the two immediately and started waving at them while pointing at them while telling Bianca where they were located in the cafeteria. Kenji and Grover waved back.

Grover asked, "That your brother?"

Kenji nodded, "Yes."

When Bianca continued to look around in confusion as to where Nico was pointing, Nico just ended up dragging her to the table which caused a chain reaction because Bianca had grabbed into her roommate.

Bianca's roommate let out a startled yelp as she was dragged across the cafeteria.

She squealed, "Bianca! Let go of me! Where are you dragging me to?"

The demeanor of her character was so different from the indifferent girl Kenji had met last night.

Bianca rolled her eyes and didn't answer, instead focused on dragging her roommate to the right table, trailing behind her younger brother.

The train of people soon reached to the table where Kenji and Grover sat amused at the display in front if them.

As they sat down in a bunch, Grover could clearly identify that the demigod scent that was clinging to Kenji was his siblings. At first he wasn't sure, but as they got nearer, he was positive. But is it possible for a family to have some kids that were demigods and others that are not?

Grover greeted, "I'm guessing you are Kenji's younger brother and sister?"

Nico and Bianca chorused, "Yep."

Grover then gestured to the girl sitting next to Bianca, "And you are?"

"Amanda," she stuck out her hand.

Grover grasped her handed and they shook once, "Grover."

Kenji looked at the empty space next to Nico, "Where's your roommate, Dean?"

Nico looked solemnly at the table across from theirs, "He doesn't like me." Well, that's an idiotic reason to be depressed about.

"Did you try to make friends with him?"

Nico threw his hands up into the air, "I just entered the room and he just sat on his bed, glaring at me. I tried to start a conversation, but he just ignored me!"

Kenji asked softly, "Do you want to change roommates?"

Nico shook his head defiantly, "No, no. I WILL make friends with him by the end of the year."

Kenji shrugged, "Ok. Whatever you want."

Grover tapped his fingers impatiently on the table top as he, along with the rest of the group, finished their breakfast, impatiently waiting to tell Chiron that he had found two demigods. Strong ones.

Kenji noticed that constant tapping and asked Grover, "Do you really need to go to the bathroom that bad?", amusement coloring his voice.

At first Grover was confused, but soon he realized the question was a perfect opportunity to IM Chiron, "Yes", he shot up, "I do need to go to the bathroom."

Grover hastily grabbed his crutches and hobbled out of the cafeteria as fast he can and into the bathroom.

Kenji stared amused at his back, "He really does need to 'go to the bathroom'" Kenji narrowed his eyes fractionally at Grover's retreating back. He had a small suspicion that whatever Grover was doing. It was definitely not going to the bathroom.

Grover turned on the water to a really high temperature and waited for mist to form, while digging around his pockets for a drachma. He finally found one, the shiny gold surface of the gold coin glinting, in his front pocket.

He threw the coin into the mist and called, "Oh Goddess, please accept my offering. Chiron of Camp Half-Blood."

The drachma disappeared into the mist and soon after an image of the inside of the Big House shimmered into existence.

Grover could see Chiron deep inside a conversation with Annabeth, a daughter of Athena.

Chiron sighed, resigned, to whatever Annabeth had just said, "Annabeth, dear. I'm sorry, but I can not do that for you."

She threw her hands up, her grey eyes darkening with anger, "Can't you do something?"

Chiron was about to retaliate when Grover meekly said, "Umm... Annabeth? Chiron?"

Grover noticed that he had just barged into a middle of a heated argument between Chiron and Annabeth.

Their heads whipped around to the Iris Message where Grover was staring back.

Chiron composed himself and asked, "Yes, Grover?"

He looked down and started to nervously rub his hands together, "I found two demigods," he rushed out.

He stared hard at their faces, watching their reactions.

They blinked owlishly, "Two?"

"Yes. Two," confirmed Grover. "Maybe, three," he tacked on.

"Three?" Annabeth emphasized.

"Maybe," Grover repeated.

A wide grin split apart Annabeth's face, "That's amazing! Three!"

Chiron stroked his beard thoughtfully, "Which school are you at right now?"

"Westover Hall."

"Ah."

Annabeth turned to Chiron and clasped her hands together begging, "Can I please go to pick them up? Please?"

Chiron countered, "Then you have to bring Theseus."

She brightened up, "Sure."

"And Thalia."

Her jaw dropped open, "Why?" she demanded.

Chiron gave no answer as he ignored Annabeth and faced Grover, "So, when do you think is the best time to pick them up?"

Grover thought for a minute, "The end of the year dance?" He had meant for it to be a statement, but it came out as a question.

"That works. When is this end of the year dance?"

Grover racked his brain for the exact date, but couldn't find it, "I'll IM you when it is one day before the dance."

Chiron nodded, "Good. Good."

"Now," Chiron turned back to the still gaping Annabeth, "do you still want to go?"

She sniffed, "Yes."

Chiron held out his hands and gestured towards the door, "Then you ought to go tell Theseus and Thalia that they are going with you."

She scowled, "Fine." She then stormed out of the building towards the arena.

Grover shifted awkwardly and waved at Chiron, "Well, I'll just be going."

Chiron distractedly waved an absent hand at Grover, "Yes, yes. Good bye Grover."

Grover reached down and turned off the faucets that was still pouring out steaming water and slashed his hand through the mist, destroying the Iris Message.

Kenji's ears managed to pick up Grover's footsteps as he patiently ate his bowl of fruit, "Hey Grover."

Grover set his crutches leaning against the table before he sat down next to Kenji, "Hey."

Grover looked around the table, "Where is Bianca, Nico, and... What was the other girl's name? Melanie. Alison. Amanda. Her name's Amanda. Where did they go?"

Kenji rolled his eyes, "They got bored of watching me eat fruit so they walked away to explore the campus."

"Ah."

Grover got his own bowl of fruits and the two roommates ate their fruit, in silence.

Annabeth stormed to the arena, her blonde hair flying around her angrily. Her grey eyes flashed in anger at the very thought of talking to the bastard daughter of Zeus. Thalia and her used to be as close as sisters, but it changed when Theseus got added to the equation. Annabeth liked the fact that he had got her out of the camp and given her the chance to finally go on a quest. She could see the many quests they both would go on until he reached 16 to defeat the Titan lord Kronos. She could already see it! Annabeth, the heroine of Olympus! As she got closer to the area, the sounds of fighting grew louder.

She entered the arena to see Thalia and Clarisse sparing. They both wielded spears and the only difference between the two was the fact that Thalia was holding up her trademark shield. The shield that had the picture of Medusa's head in the center. A truly terrifying shield. Annabeth shuddered.

Annabeth shouted out, "Hey, Grace!"

Thalia spun around, electricity crackling at her fingertips, "Who dares..." her voice trailed off as she noticed who called her that. She smirked, "Ah, back to the name calling. Eh, Princess."

Annabeth scowled angrily, but forced herself to calm down enough to be civil with the daughter of Zeus.

Annabeth stated curtly, "We are going to retrieve two demigods. Ask Chiron."

She spun around on her heel and started to look for Theseus. At first, she had hated the son of Poseidon. For the plain fact that he was the son of her mother's rival. But after the first quest, she saw past the fact that he was a son of Poseidon.

Her eyes wandered around searching for Theseus.

Oh! There he is! By the lake.
