2: Contact
Ed hasn't contacted them in a while. No phone calls, heck, not even a letter.
Of course, it was a very typical Ed thing to do. Not contacting them, getting them, her, worried.
But Ed had promised them he'd write. But not one letter appeared this month. Frankly, it was starting to worry her.
But, she knew he was okay. If he was missing, or even dead, the military would have sent a letter by now, it would be in the news. It was protocol. So, in a way, Winry knew he was okay.
And sure enough, the next day, Ed's letter arrived in the mail. As excited as they were, they were calm as they opened the letter. His letter was rather short, and what he wrote was worrisome.
Can no longer write. Those were it's only words.
