Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4
Chapter 8: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Begins
Kathryn looked at the ruined corpse of her once friend as Tex and Tink removed Chris's body from the chair. Timmy was still alive but in a sort of delusional half-conscious state.
"Yummy!" Zeke exclaimed happily as Tink and Tex cut up Chris's body parts. "I love the ribs!"
"And this one is so fit!" Tex grinned, skinning her ribs. "And we got a lot of them!"
Kathryn choked on her tears, forcing herself to look at her lap while they shaved her dead friend apart. She couldn't watch this madness, this cannibalistic madness that she was said to have once been apart of! Not that she truly believed what these freaks were telling her!
"Cheer up Hunter!" Baby grinned happily, not even caring how her cousin was suffering. "It's just like eating chicken or steak! What's your favorite cut?"
Kathryn could not stop herself from vomiting on herself in disgust. If I EVER get outta here, she silently promised, I will never eat chicken or steak ever again!
"Baby.." Mama warned the blonde, "Do not upset her."
"Anything we do is gonna freak her out Mama." Tink complained while Tex sent his baby girl an apologetic glance. "She's gonna have to get use to us one way or another."
Tex felt shame run through him as he secretly watched Kathryn's reaction to their brutality. He didn't expect anything happy from her but this!? This was just heartbreaking for him as her father, to see her so distraught and and angered. She definitely hated them, he could just see her seething rage boiling beneath her weeping chocolate eyes. He was gonna need to clean her up too, he wasn't about to let his baby sit in her own stomach acid.
"I'll wash her up." Tex offered, already making his way to Kathryn's chair. "Junior can help you with dinner."
Tink didn't mind Junior helping out in the kitchen but he knew Tex was bothered by Kathryn's state. And while he would snap at Tex for babying the now grown up Hunter he found it to be only fair that Tex do so since he was deprived of it for so long.
Benny carefully followed a specific line of traps, oddly enough they led toward the direction of the Sawyer household. From there he found a moveable stable that had moving bodies in it; Kathryn's classmates!
"Hey now!" Benny whispered as he looked around, searching for any of the Sawyer family. "Hey, hey!"
The teen cowered away from Benny, whimpering in fear as they thought he was another Sawyer. "Don't hurt us!" and "Go away!" was mumbled and cried.
"I ain't here to hurt you!" Benny whispered, "Shush or they'll hear you!"
"Who are you?" a girl asked from the back, "You're not one of them?"
Benny shook his head. "I'm a friend of Kathryn's. She called me over here to help you."
Relief flooded through the students, Chris had been right about Kathryn staying behind and getting help.
"Now listen to me carefully." He said, "Imma find a way to let you out but I need to make sure that they aren't coming. Got it?"
He received a round of approval before looking at the lock on the door, he could pick it but he would need to find something sufficient enough for that job. First thing he really needed to do was make sure the Sawyer's were busy and were not going to be coming out soon. He peeked through a window he found and discovered that he could not quite see where the cannibalistic clan was really due to the view being blocked by wall. Chances were they must have been in the kitchen, which meant someone was dying or going to die.
"Damn it..." Benny changed his goal now to scavenging around for something to pick the teens free with, anyone in the house would be a goner unless they were Kathryn. Benny fought against a groan as he remembered why Kathryn would be safe, being back here truly brought feelings of sorrow. They really should have told her from the get-go, she would have never came here and she could have lived a life away from this.
Kathryn remained quite as she was given some of Lacie's old clothes to replace hers and shooed into a bathroom to change. She didn't fight Tex either, he overpowered Chris, who was a black belt, he could easily do the same to her.
She slowly changed from her jeans and shirt to a dress with bright floral patterns and black boots. It did bother Kathryn that she was wearing a dead person's clothes but in the long run she wasn't wearing her own puke. Once she finally made her self presentable, for even in front of killers she did not want to look like one of them, she left the bathroom only to find that Tex had left her completely alone in his room.
Immediately she headed to the window, the door surely had to have been locked and even if it wasn't there was no way she was going to to get out of the house without anyone noticing if she went downstairs anyways. Still, jumping wasn't a good idea either, she would need to be able to run away and jumping with her already injured ankle was not going to work.
Forcing a sigh, she slumped onto the wooden floor pitifully. She could not do anything to help the other students nor her lost friend Karen. Speaking of Karen, she lifted her head a bit, where is the little annoying blonde?
Now finding a purpose, she carefully made her way to the door. Finding it unlocked, she cautiously peeked outside to ensure no one was waiting for her. When she was certain that no one would find her, she tip toed to the first room she saw, recognizing that the door toward the staircase was where she had awaken not long ago. Opening it carefully, thankful it did not creak, she found a room full strange devices of things that were technological at one point.
"What kind of sick twisted..." she whispered to herself as she backed out of the room. She should have known that these killers were crazy, honestly she did expect to find things that were meant to torture or kill but what she was seeing was nothing she truthfully expected.
Closing the door slowly, Kathryn tried the next room only to find it locked. Knowing that if the door was locked that meant someone was in there, Kathryn whispered into the door,"Karen? Karen are you in there?"
She heard some soft shuffling before she received a reply, "Kat?"
Giving a relief filled sigh that also went as a soft chuckle, Kathryn smiled and knelt down since the soft voice came from below. "Karen, are you alright?"
There wasn't a reply for a while but eventually Karen replied, "I wanna go home Kat." a slight sob escaped the caged blonde, "I've never felt so defiled in my life."
"Shush Karen." Kathryn cooed , "I'll find a way to get you out, I swear."
Suddenly Kathryn felt herself get yanked up by Junior, who threw her over his shoulder and carried her back downstairs.
Benny had finally managed to successfully pick the lock on the trailer that the students were locked in, "Alright, you're free." Mumbles and whisperings of relief flooded the teens as they carefully piled out of their cage. "Now listen, we ain't got enough vehicles to take get you all outta here so here's what you need to do. Go back to the gas station and wait there, Imma try to steal one of their trucks but it won't be easy."
"How the hell are we suppose to get back there?" one boy asked, his voice accidentally had risen a bit in his frustration.
"Through there." Benny pointed toward the very road he had taken to get here. Now it finally dawned on him why there was traps that were like direction pointers leading here. "Follow the broken bear traps, they'll lead you to the road and from there follow it back to where you came. The road only goes one way."
"And what about Chris?"
"Chris?" The name was vaguely familiar to Benny, if memory serves then this Chris was Kathryn's friend Christine. "Look, if there is anyone in that house, chances are they're dead or dying."
Everyone fell silent as Benny handed a boy a flashlight, "You might see a jeep along the way, the driver is a friend of mine and she'll take as many of you as she can."
"Alright." the boy nodded, "Just follow the bear traps?"
Benny returned the nod, "And don't stop unless you see a jeep. Otherwise, once you hit that road run like hell."
The boy looked at the ground but agreed, "Okay, but what about you?"
Benny looked back at the house, "I got some personal business to attend to." Glancing back at the teens he urged them to leave, "If Chris is alive, I'll try to save her."
Kathryn was not bound this time, Mama and Tex had convinced the others that her reactions were natural and if she ran she would not get far. She sat in a normal chair, next to Mama's wheelchair as Tex and Tink lifted Timmy by his ankles upward. Kathryn had noticed a strange device hanging from the ceiling and knew immediately that it created to kill for the enjoyment of the killers.
"Zeke," Tink called over his shoulder as he arranged Chris's ribs on baking sheet, "how 'bout you pull the string on this guy?"
The boy eagerly nodded his head and headed toward Tex, who was tying on a woman's apron. Kathryn nearly puked again out of disgust but managed to swallow it back, she did not wish to dress in another woman's clothes again.
Junior had left again, Tex had mentioned something about playing with his new toy but Kathryn could not fathom what that meant seeing as she could imagine any of them having a sense of what a toy really was.
"You ready Zeke?" Tex asked, lifting the boy onto the counter top.
Zeke nodded his head, "Yup, I get to kill someone!"
Kathryn gave Timmy one last look, small tears fell from her eyes as he returned her gaze. He, despite all the beatings he received, knew that this was his final moments and took one final breath before Zeke pulled the device's trigger. Kathryn watched it all, feeling that it was her obligation to him to watch his death and hopefully report it when she got out of this god-forsaken death trap, if she ever got out.
"Good job Zeke!" Tink and Tex roared as Mama laughed and Baby clapped. Junior, who had returned and not realized what was going on, started pointing outside frantically.
"What's wrong Junior?" Mama asked, noticing the large man had something in his hand, "What's that?"
Junior held up the lock that was on the trailer and continued to point outside.
"They got out?!" Tink grabbed the lock, inspecting it to see how their meat managed to get out, "Damn it!"
That was then Kathryn caught a glimpse of someone moving outside, knowing that it was Benny since only he or Michelle would take it upon themselves to rescue her from the deranged killers. She also knew that if she made any indication of seeing anything they would too see her hero, so she remained silent and almost unresponsive until Tink turned on her.
"You!" He stalked over to her and slapped her across the face, sending her falling onto the cold tile floor that still had blood smeared about. "You know about this don'tcha!"
"Tink!" Tex tried to get over to Kathryn but Junior held him back. "Tink stop!"
Kathryn, with blood on her and Lacie's dress, was picked up by her throat and choked as Tink continued to interrogate her. "Damn it girl, you better talk or I will kill you, kin or not!"
Benny, having heard that threat, decided to screw stealth and planning and barged into the Sawyer household, his shotgun armed and loaded. "Surprise to see me? Mother fuckers!"
Cocking the gun, Benny shot his first shell at Tink and successfully blew up the bastard's other ear and brains. Kathryn fell as the dead man's body fell from the power of the gun.
"Tink!" was what she heard from Tex as Benny shot again toward the cowboy and Junior.
"Benny!" Kathryn slipped a bit thanks to Chris's blood but managed to get to the dark skinned man, both running out of the house toward the woods surrounding the house.
"Run Kat." He instructed as he pulled out another gun, knowing he would not have time to reload his shotgun.
Kathryn shook her head, "I can't, my ankle!" her injury had been doing fine but with all the commotion and sudden strain it began to act up.
Benny looked at her, knowing that if she would argue with him at a time like this then she must really have a problem. Glancing back at the Sawyers, seeing that Tex and Junior were getting into their big truck. Having no choice, Benny hoisted Kathryn on his shoulder and took off into the woods.
"Where is everyone?" Kathryn asked, remembering what happened before Benny came in. "Are they safe?"
Benny nodded, "I sent them back to the gas station."
"Where's Michelle?"
That was a good question, where was she? She was suppose to already have been getting kids from the Sawyers, where was she?
"I don't know but I'm sure she and your parents are okay?"
"Parents?" Just the mentioning of her parents brought back what Tex had told her, about how he and his girlfriend or wife were her biological parents.
Not noticing her tension, Benny replied, "Yeah, they insisted on tagging along."
"Oh.." she did not want to push for anything about who was her real parents, she knew that Brandon and Melissa were her parents but something nagged at her. It was probably because even she could not deny how remarkably alike she looked compared to Tex and Lacie and she looked nothing like Brandon and Melissa.
Tex revved up the monster trunk as Junior also joined him on this hunt, neither really cared about the missing students but rather that they both wanted to kill Benny and Michelle. They knew both were there somewhere, one probably helping their escapees.
"You get the bitch," Tex told Junior, "I'll get the bastard and Hunter!"
Junior made a noise of agreement, he too did not approve of Tink's handling of his niece but he knew that if he got both her and Benny he would kill them both. It was best Tex got them, besides, Hunter did not believe that she was related to them and only Benny and Michelle knew that she was. If Tex kept them alive they could force the duo to tell her the truth.
"I hate them." Tex mumbled in a pitiful tone, one that Junior only heard once and that was when he was whispering to Lacie's corpse promising to get back Hunter. "I want those two dead for taking my Hunter and killing my Lacie!"
Junior was never good at comforting anyone, when Baby was little and scraped her knee he did nothing because he did not know how to comfort her over something so small. Growing up with Drayton and and the twins was tough, especially since he solely relied on them instead of Grandpa. Drayton use to always tell them to that they had to care for themselves, even when they were small. Tex and Tink lived a better life with Mama, where she would coddled them and sing when they got hurt or needed to be loved. Tex was especially loved, Mama and Grandpa were so proud of him for his amazing good looks that beat Drayton's. In fact, when the family was forced to separate, which happened where Junior was only only a year old, Drayton said Grandpa wanted to take Tex over the twins but Mama reminded him that she couldn't handle the twins due to her becoming handicapped. W.E, Vilmer, and Alfredo were born sometime before Junior and had been taken by other family members who they killed off so they could rejoin the true Sawyers.
Junior glanced at Tex, noting that Tex was becoming angrier with each second. Not knowing what to do, Junior copied a gesture he had seen Grandpa do to Drayton when the latter got frustrated with caring for his brothers. He placed a hand on Tex's shoulder and rubbed it with a few pats.
Tex was taken by surprise when Junior put his hand on his shoulder, Junior never gave comfort since he was never raised with the knowledge. Tink and Mama took care of him when he became emotionally unstable but never had Junior do so. It was odd but he knew that Junior knew how he felt about Hunter, being that both were fathers, and wanted him to remember what he was fighting for.
"Thanks Junior." Tex sighed as he stopped the truck, "I'll look for Hunter on foot, you get after the bitch." Junior nodded and moved toward the driver's seat as Tex jumped out.
"Bring her back alive, she has to explain to Hunter about what happened last time." Junior nodded in agreement and shut the door, driving off to find wherever Michelle would be, probably at the gas station.
As Junior left Tex he looked up at the stars, remembering how Lacie use to love sitting out on the roof of the Sawyer house and watch the night sky. Occasionally she would catch a shooting star but more often than not she would stare at the sky. Now she lived among the stars.
"I'll bring back Hunter." he promised, "She'll stay here forever and one day we'll both join you up there Lacie."
As someone sort of requested a while back, I partially included Drayton and some of the other Sawyer in this chapter. I actually am considering on writing an explanation to why Grandpa and Mama were living together in the first two movies which would tie with this story but I don't know. it's iffy right now. And I am terribly sorry for the long wait. Also I would love to know what you guys think will happen in future chapters. Until next time!
