Chapter 5 Taken/Nightmares

Kate's POV

I was so happy to howl with Humphrey.

His voice was so beautiful and yet, so mesmerizing.

I felt him hold me tighter as we continued to cuddled, our eyes locked in a stare.

I just smiled as I blushed at my first crush.

"You ok, beautiful," Humphrey said, licking my cheek.

I just giggled at this, I loved the attention he gave me.

I always felt special around him but this is different, he gave me all of his attention.

I decided that we should have drink before going back to his den.

All I did was stare at him, he was so breathtaking.

The moon shined off his groomed fur as the wind blew through it, making him even more attractive.

We actually made to the river without me trying to kiss him but I didn't want to chase him away by my huge affection of him.

He knew I loved him so much but I was worrying that he was getting freaked out by my non stop kissing.

Before we even took a drink, I felt a sharp pinch in my back side.

I looked and saw a dark sticking in it, making me all woozy.

WIthing minutes, I was out cold.

The only thing I saw was Humphrey getting hit by the same dart.

Kate's Dream, Kate's POV

What is this, this isn't the dream I usually have.

I just witnessed Humphrey getting impaled by a dark creature and getting eatened alive.

What I saw scared me, as I felt a bunch of teeth rip my flesh open.

(In case you were wondering, this is the saddest part of Losing Everything, I'm connecting my stories together but Losing Everything will not happen in Love At First Sight, this is only a nightmare Kate is having)

I then opened my eyes and saw that I was a pup again.

I looked and saw Humphrey walking towards me, but the next thing made me scream.

Humphrey dropped to the ground, dead, only a large wound in his chest.

It was as if he was impaled from behind.

I rushed to his side, only to feel his cold body.

I broke down crying when I started hearing someone calling my name.

Back to reality, Humphrey's POV

I was trying trying to wake Kate up but it wasn't working.

She was crying her eyes out and screaming my name.

I knew she was having a nightmare and I had to wake her up.

Then she opened her eyes, which made me smile.

"Sweetheart, are you ok," I said, wiping the tears from her face.

She looked at me, instead of a frown, she had a smile, "Oh thank God you're alive..."

"What happened?"I asked, confused by what she said.

"You were killed by some creature," she said as tears began to form, "It stabbed you in the back and you died. And... And... And I woke up as a pup and you died in front of... my eyes... I felt so alone, so scared of lo... losing you."

She broke down crying her heart out, all I did was trying to calm her down.

So I held her and softly stroked the back of her head.

"Shh... It's ok, sweetheart, I'm here, I'm alive," I said, as her crying calmed and she looked up at me with her beautiful amber eyes.

"I love you, I love you so much," she said, as she clenched me tighter, "I can't live without my Humphrey."

I just smiled, "I can't live without my Kate, and I love you too Kate, I love you with all my heart."

We didn't where we would end up, but we knew that, together, we would be ok.

It went quiet and I looked and saw Kate asleep on me.

Her face was buried in my chest.

I didn't want to wake her so I just kissed her forehead and went back to sleep.

I slept for a few hours and I woke up to the feeling of someone licking my cheek.

I knew it was Kate and I just grabbed her and held her close to me.

She cuddled closer and continued licking my cheek.

Ten minutes later and we decided to get up.

What I didn't notice was that we were in the middle of a forest.

First we were in a cage and now we're here.

I didn't know if we were in a bad territory but I made a vow to protect Kate and I will do that.

Even if it means that I die.

"Come on, let's see where we are, if it's good," Kate said, giving me a seductive smile, "Maybe we'll make a buch of little wolves and start our own pack."

I was beyond happy, my life was so perfect.

I have Kate, the best pack, and now, I may actually be the first Omega to be a pack leader.

Even though I was so good at leading the Omegas, I never lead an entire pack but how hard could it be, right?

"Ok, let's go explore, hopefully we're in a good territory to start a pack," I said, kissing Kate.

We both went off and found out we were in Idaho.

It was already in the afternoon and we had a bunch to do like find shelter and food.

A:N/: Ok, now you know how's it going to end, but what will happen? Is the territory safe for Kate and Humphrey or will the Wolf Slayers make an cameo appearance? I will update Losing Everthing next.
