Without Jake or Cake there, Fiona and Finn had to walk to their destination and carry Marshall on top of that. Fiona held his torso while Finn carried his legs. So Marshall could be carried without being dropped to many times, Finn and Fiona stepped in unison with their shoulders pressed together.

As Fiona and Finn walked, it was silent apart from their foot steps. Finn was ok for a while, not really thinking about it. After a while he realized how much his shoulder was rubbing up against Fiona's. He casually glanced over at Fiona from the corner of his eye and saw the slight flush in her cheeks.

It all hit Finn at once and he felt his own cheeks warm up just a bit. The more they walked the louder their breathing got from all the work.

"Um, you know" Finn said after a while. "I could carry him for a while or we could take a break." He asked, trying his best to be considerate.

"Are you sure?" Fiona asked. "Cause I mean he's not too heavy but if you don't mind...""Nah man it's cool." Finn said. Fiona helped shift Marshall Lee onto Finn's back. and they continued walking.

"So this place is called OOO and the candy kingdom is run by Princess Bubblegum, right?" Fiona asked.

"Yeah, we just call her P.B."

"And there's an Ice King/ Marceline the Vampire Queen?"

"Yup." Finn said casually. Fiona blew the bangs out of her face.

"This is so weird."

"Let me try." Finn interrupted. "You live in a world called Aah. The Ice Queen steals princes, and the Candy Kingdom is run by Prince Gumball."

"P.G."

"Yeah and this guy on my back is Marshall Lee the Vampire King?"

Fiona nodded.

"That is weird."

"Hey!" Fiona lightly punched Finn's arm.

"We're almost there. You mind staying here for a sec, with Marshall? I'll run and get Marcy." Finn waited for Fiona to nod, then he set down Marshall and ran toward Marcy's house.

"MARCY MARCY GET OUT HERE!" He yelled entering the cave. Finn ran to her door and started banging and repeating what he had said.

"What is it Finn?" Marceline angrily opened the door and scowled.

"Fiona and Cake are real."

"What?" Marceline forgot that she was mad long enough to be surprised. "Whatever lil' dude."

"No seriously. They entered this world from our tree house stump that got cut in half-" Finn explained in a rush.

"You mean my tree house! What the fudge Finn?!"

"Marcy listen! They got into this world somehow and she's waiting outside with this guy named Marshall Lee-"

"Marshall Lee?" Marceline interrupted again. "Ice King told you about him? He's my character that I made up."

"Well then grab your umbrella and come on because we think that if you touch him he'll wake up. I woke up Fiona so we think you can wake up Marshall!"

"Fine Finn, I don't know what you're up to with this weird little game but." She grabbed her umbrella and followed Finn outside.

"Guys!" Fiona called loudly. Finn saw her running their way with Marshall in her arms. He was curled into a ball and blistering. "The sun is getting to him! We have to get him into some shade!"

Marceline flew past Finn towards Fiona. She stood over Fio and Marshall with her umbrella. His skin was pretty bad but her shade was helping.

"Is this Marceline?" Fiona asked, looking up at the floating girl.

"Sure am. It's nice to meet you little lady." Marcy held out her hand to shake Fiona's. "Dude, Finn, this is crazy." Marceline said when Fiona's warm, solid hand met hers. Finn reached the group.

"Go ahead Marcy. Touch him." Finn encouraged.

"Let's get him inside first. Hey Fiona, why wasn't he blistering in the sun before now?" Marceline asked as the group started back to her cave.

"Prince Gumball made him some kind of super strong sunscreen."

"Whoa, she knows Gumball too?" Marcy directed her question to Finn.

"Yeah Marcy, she's the real thing!"
