Shoutmon's Headphones
Mikey got up to leave. "Wait! Mikey!" I blurted out. I didn't know what came over me. He turned around. I took off my green headphones. They were worn down from traveling from zone to zone. My golden crown symbol that I hid with my headphones was exposed.
"You can take those off?" Mikey said in amazement.
"Yeah. I just wear them because I don't like my crown symbols." I said.
"I think they look unique. Truely fitting for the Digimon King." He chuckled.
"Thanks Mikey. And here, I don't need these headphones anymore." I handed him the worn down headphones. He put it around his neck.
"Thanks buddy." He yawned. "Well, it's getting late. We better get to sleep." And we walked towards where Jeremy and Angie were quietly sleeping in silence. I dreamed of Mikey that night.
