Chapter Eleven

I skidded to a halt in the middle of the clearing. Elladan and Legolas were laying toward the front of the battle grounds while Elrohir and Nathan lay about ten feet to my left. I also noticed the Nazgul standing watch over ten orcs who were slowly dragging Legolas, Elladan, Nathan and Elrohir off to a small cave nearby. I started to cry as I realized what they were going to do, they were already starting to seal off the cave with huge rocks, rocks that I wouldn't have even a hope of moving. I watched in silence as the orcs sealed of the cave then started to walk off. I waited until I was sure that they were gone until I ran over to the cave.

I started to cry until I heard a voice. "What?" I asked the stone wall.

"Anna?"

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Elrohir, what happened?"

"The orcs knocked you out."

"I know that, where are we?"

"You are in a small cave that was about twenty feet away from where you were fighting."

"Oh okay, can you get us out?"

"No." I couldn't help but start to cry again, why couldn't I help them? There was only one thing that I could think to do. That was to pray. "Please help me Lord. Help me to be able to get them out" Then I had an idea. "Elrohir how far are we away from Mirkwood?"

"A couple of hours, Why?"

"I will be back soon, with anyone I can find."

"Anna..."

"Don't worry, Ro I will be fine. Wake up Nathan and get him to get whatever you need from his backpack." With that I ran off. I quickly ran toward my backpack grabbed it and I was off.

An hour later I arrived at Mirkwood's borders and I looked around for the guards I knew were there. "Please come out!" I yelled, "I need help!"

A blond elf dropped down next to me ad I jumped slightly, "What do you need stranger?" he asked.

"My friend, the sons of Elrond and your Prince are trapped in a cave not an hour west from here. I could not get them out so I came here to receive you aid."

"Our Prince will not be here for another two days, why do you lie to us?"

"I promise you that, I am not lying."

"What do you have to prove that you are telling us the truth?"

I thought about that for a second and almost slapped myself for not thinking of it sooner, I pulled out my bow that Legolas and the Twins had given to me. The guard reached for their bows when I reached for mine and I was quick to show them that I had no arrows ready to go. "Just look at the runes on the side of it."

As the Guards looked I was pulled back in time to when Legolas and the twins had given me and Nathan our own weapons for the trip

My Birthday had been three days ago, I had told Nathan not to mention it but he had and Legolas, Elladan and Elrohir had given me a bow and quiver set that was beautiful. On the bottom of the Bow were three runes that I was told meant that I would be given Access to any elven realm under the protection of either Legolas or the Twins. That meant that these Mirkwood Guards should allow me in to get help or maybe actually help me themselves.

Legolas had told me, "These runes will allow you passage way into any of the elven realms."

I had looked at him startled, "Even Lothlorian?"

The twins had laughed, "Of course Lothlorian, our grandmother lives there."

Nathan had received a sword that was inscribed with some elven rune that meant Mighty Warrior. He also received two daggers, each with a word etched into the metal of the blade made of the elven runes meaning Strong and Courageous.

Later that day I had let Nathan pull out his Kukris so that we could practice fighting with our new weapons, however when he did, we discovered that they were now made out of black mithril with silver designs on the handles.

"Oh my gosh…" Nathan had exclaimed as he examined his Kukris carefully.

"What happened to them?" I had asked looking over his shoulder at the weapons, "They look like mithril…but how?"

Legolas had then come over and had then called Elladan and Elrohir over to see these "new weapons". They had had millions upon millions of questions about the weapons, and I smiled as I remembers Nathan trying to explain what they were, except he didn't get more then halfway as he hardly knew what they were made out of.

I snapped out of my reverie when one of the Mirkwood guards tapped my shoulder, "My lady, if you are ready to go we will follow you to the prince and Lord Elrond's sons."

"Great," I said, smiling, "Follow me."
