Chapter 2, year 1
As penny picked up the puppy she said "your heavy" and put on a collar with the word BOLT on it.

It was a cold night as Bolt and Penny walked down a dark street when out of know where a thug jumps out of an ally hits penny. Bolt alarmed by seeing Penny was struck bit the thug in the leg, the thug kicked Bolt in to the street. Penny alarmed by this punched the thug with more strength then she thought she had and knocked him out.
After the incident Penny threw herself in to training. Soon she had a green belt in her karate class. Bolt wanted to be ready is something happened to penny again. So he ran harder, pulled harder, and paid more attention to Penny.

One day Penny saw bolt jump up for a second and thought it looked like he was standing. After that Penny tried to get bolt to do it some more eventually he could hold it for ten seconds after that Penny started to teach Bolt to punch. Soon bolt could throw three punches per jump.

"Wake up Bolt it your birthday" Yelled Penny.
Bolt's thoughts what, what's going on, what's happening.
Penny seeing Bolt's confused look said "your birthday is the day you were born. You get presents and tasty food".
Bolt thoughts food I like food.
"Let's go get it Bolt" Penny exclaimed.
