Chapter 13
Rosa's POV
A soon as we got back home from the Quileute territory me and Iggy jumped back into the air, and Jacob stayed in wolf form to run after us. I lead us all to the cave, and landed just before the cliff, so that we could wait for Jacob to turn back into a human. Once he was with us, I proceeded to take us down the path to the cave mouth, and to where Iggy's transformation would happen.
"Ok, so Iggy just lay on this bed, and I will give you the morphine, then when you are ready, I will give you the bite, and your transformation will start."
"Ok" Iggy said laying on the bed, and then as soon as he was down, I gave him the shot of morphine and waited.
"Ok, I am ready for you to bite me."
"Alright" I said, and then I leaned down, and bite his wrist.
*Time Skip* (Three Days Later)
"Huh?"
"He's waking up. Hey Iggy, it is about time you woke up, everyone has been waiting to see you and your newness."
"Wow, I can see."
"Uh yeah, that is what happens when you become a vampire; the venom fixes everything that is wrong."
"Oh right, but why does my throat hurt."
"Because you are thirsty, and need to hunt."
"Ok, then let us just fly over the forest, and get us a deer or something." Iggy said getting up, and walking past me so that I was staring at his back.
"Alright, but…"
"But what?"
"Um, your wings are gone."
"What!?" Iggy said starting to freak out, and looking at his back to see that it is true. "No this isn't true, maybe if just jump off the cliff; they will come out just like they always do."
That was when I saw Iggy run, and jump into the air and start to fall, but then something miraculous happened, and his wing did indeed come out, and he was soon flying high.
"Wow, but wait his wings were gone, how did they just come back?"
"Maybe it is like us, I mean you don't see our wolves all the time." Jacob said, making me notice him for the first time since I bite Iggy.
"Maybe" I said, jumping into the air, and flying after Iggy.
After I took Iggy hunting, we headed back for the Cullen house, and we landed on the roof, so that Iggy could hide his wings again, so that we could freak the flock out. As it turned out I could have made my wings disappear too, without have to flatten them like the flock does. I think the ability to do this as something to do with the way vampires are created, and our DNA or something. Once Iggy's wings were completely gone, we jumped down, and went inside, both of us looking sad. Somehow our plan managed to work, until Max came in, and looks Iggy in the eye, and that is when he broke, and told them all the truth.
The Cullen and David and I decided to be safe, and keep Iggy out of school for a couple of weeks, then see how he was doing with human being around, and then if need be, just take him out of school for however long it may take. So the next time Max and the Flock went to school they told everyone that Iggy had gotten surgery on his eyes, and that he may be out for a while. David also called down to the school, and told them to just give Iggy's homework to Max or Fang to take home for him.
