While in his truck Alex began to drift of into to thought about everything that had happened to him this year. And what a crazy year that it had been. His father had come out of a coma that he had been put in over 15 years ago by his girlfriend's uncle. He had met the Love of his life Mia and became a singer just like that. He started to wonder how different his life would have been if he had never sang with her on New year's eve. That was something that he did not even want to think about. In his eyes his life began once he had met her.
She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen not to mention the smartest. She was so different from all the other girls from east high. She was kind caring, not a jerk or air head like some of the other girls like the cheerleaders or even worse Mindy Baylor. She cared about him not for his status at east high but for the type of person that he was. It was one of the things that he loved most about Mia. And there was one thing that he knew for sure. That one-day he and Mia would be married and have a family of their own. He continued to think about that on his way to Mia's.
Meanwhile at the Johnson's Mia had just finished her breakfast and made her way outside to wait for Alex. She opened the door and took a seat on her porch's swing and sat down and began to think. She started to think about how much had changed since she had met Alex. Alex the love of her life. She started to think about how amazing it was when they were singing together at that New Year's Eve party.
It killed her so much to leave him that night. She thought that was never going to see him again. But in a week she ends up going to the same school as him and they began to go out. She also began to think about how angry their friends were at them when they got a call back for the winter musical. So much that they got them to break up.
But they eventually got back together and sang in both the winter and Spring Musicals. That is much to the chagrin and Mindy Baylor. What a evil Girl she was, Mia could tell that Mindy did not like her. The fact was apparent to everyone else that she treated everyone else like crap. Especially her sister Mandy.
Poor Mandy she thought to her self. Mindy treated no one worse than her own sister. She often wondered why Mandy let Sharpay run her life the way she used to. Sure now she would stand up to her every once in a while like at the winter musical where she punched her in the face. But that was one of the few times that she actually. Other than that she just tried to stay out of her sisters way. She even had to hide her relationship with John Cross a secret from her sister. Even though Mindy knew they were going out she would not tolerate them being seen together.
And the same thing went for Mindy and Mandy's cousin Matt. He did every single thing Mindy told him to. No matter how big or small. Mia wondered why matt did those things. She knew that he was a good person at heart. To her everyone was a good person at heart it just took some effort for him or her to show off that side of them.
She was still in thought when Alex and parked his truck around her house. He made his way from his truck to surprise Mia. After a couple minutes of searching he found her. She was sitting on her swing porch deep in thought. He snuck up behind her and put his hands over your eyes. He began to speak seconds after he had put his hands over.
" Guess Who Freaky Math Girl? Mia laughed at the name that had once caused her so much pain and suffering at her old schools. But when Alex said it, it made her blush like crazy.
" Umm I don't know could it be Jason, Or John, no wait it's Johnny Deep. She knew that last one would strike a cord. She just loved to press her boyfriends buttons. It was just one of her favorite things to do.
" Ha, ha, ha very funny but no it's you're amazing boyfriend her to take you to school. You ready to go? She nodded and they made their way to the truck. They held hands on their way to school. Giggling and talking about things that they were gonna do over summer break. She had told Alex that it was the first time in 5 years she would not be moving.
That it was something important to her and wanted to make the most of it. It was something that Alex helped to be a part of making it special. It was la mere 15 minutes before they reached the school. Alex parked the car and they made there way to the front entrance to east high. It was only a mere minutes before they saw the other wildcats conversing among each other.
Jason was holding hands with Alex's Sister Jenny and they were talking about what they had wanted to do over the summer. It had been a weird thing that had brought the two together. They had been scheming to get Alex and Mia to split up when they had really started to fall each other. And after they started to talk more and more it just started to click and they eventually began going out. There wasn't a guy he would rather have his sister going out than his best friend.
Then there was John and Mandy giggling and holding hands also talking about how they were gonna spend their time together. There relationship wasn't the most normal one of the groups. Mainly because of Mandy's sister Mindy. She could not stand the fact that she and John were dating. It made want to gag at the mention of it.
They had to be together in secret so Mindy would not see them. Mandy thought that it was kind of romantic but even she would like to walk down the halls with her boyfriend at least once. And there was Andrew talking to some random cheerleader. He didn't really like cheerleaders that much his interest was in that of Mindy Baylor. She made his heart do back flips every time she was near.
Too bad she wouldn't even give him the time of day. But that didn't stop him because he knew that one-day that she would be his. And finally there was Andrew's sister Amber Danforth. She was the smarter of two. But her like her brother and John had a thing for a member of the Baylor/Evans Clan.
She was head over heels for Matt Evans. She did everything she could possibly think of to get his attention. But nothing seemed to work. But she figured if her brother hadn't given up on his crush why should she give up on hers. Alex and Mia eventually joined the group in their summer talk. That was before they were interrupted by a evil being in pink. And that evil Being was none other than Mindy Evans.
" Hey Johnson what did I tell you about hanging around my sister. I don't your loser stench to get caught on her. Especially that moron you guys call a human being over there. Yes John I'm talking to you. I know that you're too stupid to figure that one out yourself. Come on Mandy let's go we have things to do. HE was about to take her before Mia topped her.
" I don't know who you think you are just coming over her and start talking to my friend like that. You have no right to talk to him like that and you know it. Figuring that he is going out with your sister. Even if you don't want to acknowledge it. And I think that it is Mandy's decision on who she hangs out with. Too bad she could pick her family members instead who would want to be sisters with a bitch like you.
" Oh really funny whore. Your must be the funniest person to ever live. I'm doing what is best for my sister. And what is best for her is not to hang out with losers like you. Oh and don't worry once you screw up I'll be happy to take your boyfriend off your hands for you. Alex give me a call when you want to be with a real women and not some cheap slut toddles.
And with that Mindy, Matt, and Mandy made their exit. Mandy felt mortified after the things that her sister had said to her friends and boyfriend. She couldn't believe such things had come out of her mouth. Mindy was not always like that. She had used to be a very nice girl, some one that Mandy had looked up to. But her sister had not been like that since the start of High School. Oh what she wouldn't give to have her sister back and not the ice queen of east high.
Meanwhile with the rest of the east high clan Alex was trying to calm down his girlfriend. He knew how angry she was. He was mad too but probably not as angry as her. He knew the things that she had said were wrong. But she should have just ignored her.
" God I'm going to kill that girl the next time I get my hands on her. I swear I'm gonna wring her neck the next time I see her. How dare she call me a whore? That little bitch. She's lucky I'm so nice otherwise she would be dead by now. Alex knew that he had to step in before something disastrous happened.
" Baby relax okay. Screw what Mindy says okay. We all know that she's crazy if she weren't then she wouldn't be the ice queen. There is no way in hell that you are a whore. You are the most beautiful women I know. And you are my girlfriend okay. Now forget all about Mindy okay we have to get to class. They gave each other a quick kiss and made their way to their classes.
Later that day during the last period of the day they wildcats were sitting in their homeroom. They were listening to Gabriella giving them all a speech. Alex wasn't paying attention at all. He was too busy staring into Mia's eyes.
" Now guys I know that you are all excited about summer vacation. You are not the only ones I am excited too. I know that you guys aren't really paying attention to what I am saying and I am okay with that, I just want you guys to have a great summer. And before I dismiss you guys are there any least questions.
Just when everyone thought this was there chance to take a nap. John cross started to raise his hand. Every one groaned and moaned. They could not believe that he had raised his hand on the last day of school to ask a question. But John was a very nice a nd caring person he always wanted to know things like this.
" So what was your favorite summer memory Mrs. Montez? This was something that she had not thought about in a very long time. It was a sad memory and at the same times a very happy one. It was the time she had spent at the lava springs country club. It had brought her and troy closer then she could have ever hoped.
" Thank you for asking that question John you know you remind me so much of your father. He to was curious about everything and it is what made him such a great friend. My greatest summer memory would have to be the time where my friends and I worked at the lava springs country club. Coach Bolton and me were dating at the time. And Our Friend Sharpay Evans tried to spilt us up.
It was like that for most of the summer. Hell she almost succeeded. But if it wasn't for the love me and coach Bolton shared she would have succeeded. That is my favorite summer memory. That is why I advise all you kids to have the best summer of your lives.
Because you don't really know how long you have with the ones you love. It could be day's month's years or even minutes. And with that I let to think and talk to your friends about your summer plans. As soon as she finished speaking the bell rang and the students threw their papers up in the air in celebration.
