Hey guys so I know it has been a long time since I have updated this story. So sorry. But I am now an official high school graduate and a college student. And well this summer has just been crazy and amazing. I finally have a job and have had so many different opportunities to do so many different activities that I just couldn't pass up. But any way I am pretty sure y'all just want to read my update to this story. So here is the new chapter and please review.

*Katara's POV*

I wake up before Zuko. Some how during the night my body slowly gravitated towards him to where I am lying on top of his chest. I just lie there thinking about the way his kiss made me feel. I should hate it, it should of felt wrong and unnatural. But of all the feelings that I am experiencing, I haven't felt any of those. It gave me butterflies in my stomach and my body molded against his. As if we were two puzzle pieces fitting together perfectly. I wanted to kiss him again.

This was starting to get dangerous. I just need to get us to the town, write the letter, and then leave him before he can even notice. I should be able to go to another town before and make my escape before he can ever get to me or to Aang. But the idea of leaving him now, just pains me. But it is something I know I need to do in order to protect Aang.

With that in mind I rise up and begin to slowly shake Zuko's unconscious body. "Zuko wake-up," I say. He being the stubborn ass he is just mumbles incoherently and stays asleep. Frustrated I yell "ZUKO!"

Before I can even comprehend what happened Zuko has me pinned down to the ground with his body flush up against mine, one hand pinning my wrist to the forest floor and the other wrapped securely around my neck.

"Damn it Katara, you shouldn't wake me like that. Just be happy I didn't fire bend." He says/yells when he sees that it is me he has pinned beneath his body. But still does not move.

"Then I would have had to kick your ass." I say. "Now get your ass of me."

"I'd like to see you try. And besides I kind of like this position" He says teasingly gripping my wrist a little tighter and grinds his hips into mine. I can feel his erection. Causing me to moan. Damn hormones.

"Hmm. See even you don't want me to get off of you. But unfortunately we must be on our way to the village." He says winking and getting up. I lay there for a few moments before he gets frustrated with me and grabs my wrist and pulls me up off the ground. "Come on." He says walking away from me.

This day is extremely hot and we make frequent water breaks, delaying our travel time and arrival time. We eventually take a break by the river and the water is calling to me. I make sure Zuko's back is turned and I bend the water. The water begins to slowly rise and then I have a crazy stupid idea. I make a huge ball in the water creating a gigantic wave and bend it over to where Zuko is standing. Drenching him. I know it was a stupid move but his reaction was priceless causing me to laugh hysterically.

"If that stunt wasn't so cute and innocently harmless, I would have to punish you." Zuko says, trying to sound stern, but he is slightly pouting and is drenched. Which causes to me laugh even harder than before.

"I am sorry Zuko, I just thought you needed to 'cool down' and besides I'd like to see you try. I bet I could easily take you in a fight." Challenging him, I know he would never decline a challenge. If I can defeat him, I could escape now.

"Fine." He says, and proceeds to send a huge fireball my direction. I quickly pull water from the river and shield myself from the ball. I then turn the wall into ice daggers and send them his direction. He melts them before they even get close to touching him. I keep trying to hit him with water whips, daggers, ice shields, I even try to encase him in a wall of ice. But the weather isn't helping and for every attack I make he has a counter attack. I am becoming more and more physically drained and don't see that each time he moves closer and closer to me. It is only when I am beginning to create a big wave that takes all my focus that he lunges at me. Tackling me to the ground where he is once again on top of me, but this time has a tiny flame right by my neck.

"Told you you couldn't kick my ass." He says. I being to squirm around underneath of him, trying to escape to no such luck. "Careful Katara, don't want to start a problem that you can't finish." He says in a huskier voice and when I look into his golden eyes that I see how dark they have turned. I blush and he just smirks. Using the only way I think I could distract him enough I kiss him. He is taken off guard but doesn't loosen his grip on me. He tightens it and moans and kisses me deeper. His tongue licks the bottom of my lip and I can't help but open it and let him invade it once more. He moans again and I begin to grind my hips into him this time. He pulls away finally seeing what I am trying to do.

"Dirty Katara, very dirty." He says winking. "Come on lets go before I do some very dirty things to you." He says winking. I get up by myself this time. We keep treading on and continue to make frequent stops. Zuko is quiet for the rest of the day. We stop once we know we are only a day out. We create a fire and I lay down besides Zuko with my head ontop of his arm before I fall asleep my inner conscious is reprimanding me.

Damn it Katara. This is not good. You kissed him this time and you lost your only chance of escaping before we arrive to the village. You are becoming to attached. Yeah well I can't really see the bad in this now cause my mind is currently being clouded by Zuko as I begin to fall asleep.
