An Unknown character POV:
"Sir we have found him…" The young whisp chanted as he bowed at the foot of my throne.
My attention was grasped "Riku?"
"Yes m'lord" He said he voice shaking. How annoying.
"And could you tell me the reason it took so long to find that stupid excuse for a cat?" I said softly, toying with my servant.
He swallowed "Um he's dead sir… But"
I threw my tray of sushi down on the floor in a burst of pure anger… "Then how do you expect me to get his power! If he's dead!" I gripped the collar of the whisp's small kimono. He squirmed, pushing his hands down on my balled fist full of cloth.
"His energy has been spotted" The whisp exclaimed. I felt one of my infamous sinister smiles appear.
"Where?" I grinned. Walking down the small steps towards the whisp.
"Mikage's territory" The whisp whispered "He passed on his powers"
"To who?" I calmly said as I placed my finger under the chin of my colourful faced whisp.
"I don't know…" The whisp whimpered. Suddenly the whisp has vanished from my grip, a glass of milk took its place. As I took a sip of the whisp/milk I returned to my throne. Mikage… The earth god. He is a powerful god, he could be a problem.
But giving up is not in my nature…
Nanami's POV:
(Meanwhile) Ugh looking after Natsu is harder work then I thought. I was wolfing down some sushi I bought in town before Tomoe caught me. I love fish! Natsu was still asleep but thanks to Tomoe's many connections we got a healer in time. Being a god must be so desirable. I finished my sushi quicker than I would have liked and I found myself anxious for something to do. Maybe I can try that fire control thing, maybe it'll get me some recognition from Tomoe! My excitement was making my blood race, I felt the adrenaline course through my veins. I ran into the midnight air, I quickly found myself bounding across the buildings. My tail hitting my legs was a constant reminder of my demonic power. I quickly found myself in the park where all this began. I shifted into the form of a guy I saw on a TV show. I threw myself into a clearing in the trees. Okay focus. I raised my hand as if what Tomoe would do to conjure fire.
"Fire!" I shouted. Nothing. My hand was the same as before. Damn!
"Demonic powers don't work like that Nanami-chan" I voiced whispered from the darkness filled tree lines.
"Wh…Who's there" I shouted, morphing back into my true form.
A shadow crawled from the tree line. Wait it was a guy. Kurama! I felt my face darkening. But as the guy grew closer I realised it wasn't crow boy. This guy had white hair. Don't tell me this was the snake Natsu and Tomoe told me about!
"Sorry my Mom taught me never to talk to strangers" I laughed, I looked down at my wrist "Well look at the time, it sure is getting late… I'd better go" I turned to walk home as fast as I could, but my hand was caught mid-air.
"Wait Namami-chan" His green eyes met mine, they were sincere. "I wish to apologise" He bowed, my hand sandwiched between his.
"It's okay, in this world nearly everyday involves some near death experience" I smiled. Suddenly his apologetic expression vanished and was replaced by a dead serious one.
"Nanami do you know what your eyes mean?" He said quietly but it was still creepy.
"U…Umm it was just the eye colour of the Bakeneko I got my powers from" I said confidently "Not a big deal right…"
"Obviously Tomoe doesn't know much about cats" He laughed breathlessly "A cat's eye colour combination is their identity and power, almost like an ID card"
"Really… Do you know who that cat was then" Maybe this could tell me how powerful I really am.
"Oh yes I know who you are… Riku's demonic signature is incredibly famous, it just took me a while to remember" He smiled "Riku was one of the crown princes of the Bakeneko world"
"Wait how do you know all this?" I growled, he could be tricking me. He might try and kill me again!
"I have my sources, though they took me a while to find" He sighed. He looked down at his wrist sarcastically "My look at the time, it's getting really late! Maybe I'll finish my story another time" He turned to walk off mockingly.
"Wait tell me about my power" I said clutching onto his green kimono.
"All for another time" He patted my head gently "Just watch your back, I'd hate for anything so pretty to be hurt" A burst off smoke attacked my eyes and he was gone. Watch my back? Does he mean Kurama?
Damn it Riku what have you got me into!
"And where have you been Halfing!" Tomoe spat at me as soon as I walked into the shrine.
"What can I not have my privacy anymore!" I growled back "Anyway be quiet Natsu is sleeping!"
"I don't care! Just don't run off ever again" He said tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear… As he walked back towards he room. I felt my heart regain consciousness. I was in love with Tomoe…
If any of you are confused, the first chapter is the pov of a villian that I have created but his identity is not going to be revealed till later on ;)
