Chapter 35
Harry's Prov
I was bloody, breathing harsh, and body ached, it was Voldemort's magic users that were keeping us at bay. I had magic, my entire family line did, but these wizards and oddly two witches were ruthless using spells I had never heard before. It was just a few of us that had magic, myself, father, Sirius, Remus, Neville, Ron and his brothers as well as Severus. His magic was taking the most people out. A woman Bellatrix was dueling Sirius and was winning but I was focused on Alecto, Voldemort's second son, Bill Weasley was dueling his first son and father his daughter.
"Avada—"he started.
"Expelliarmus!" I yelled disarming him after a tiring battle, "sectumsempra!" mirroring a spell I had heard Severus call out, gashes appeared on the man, one slicing his throat spraying blood along the damp cobblestones.
His sister screamed looking at her dying brother; this was all my father needed, sword swinging in the air. Her head went flying a frozen look of horror etched upon her face.
A scream was heard above the others as Fenrir bit and tore a chunk out of Bill, before the man let out a howl that was not human, the remaining forces of Voldemort gathered around him as I looked into the bleeding red eyes of the dark heir becoming a Werewolf.
Grasping my sword tighter I waited for the beast to lunge, it snarled but its eyes were locked onto my father "Harry go!" he ordered his hands tightening around his own sword "go."
I didn't want to leave my father, Sirius and Remus stepped up beside him as Severus grasped my arm "to Draco," he said and we entered the castle with a small force of others.

I was panicked, the door was sealed only one way in or out and guards were now there, looking for me "the Princess is among you," a guard spoke "give him up or die."
"He is not with us," an old man spoke a lie and my heart skipped a beat as his words.
"Oh really," the guard smirked "Avada Kedavra."
I could feel a change in the crowded room, the men were now trying harder to get outside and I was pushed further back as the crowed collectively stepped back from the evil wizard.
"Please, please," begged a woman crying loudly, a man beside the wizard just stabbed her, right in the eye. Her screams tore through the room.
"Give him up!" screamed the wizard above the woman's cries "and we will stop."
I moved to go forward when Millicent grasped my hand, "don't"
"I must for my people," I replied as several around me looked at me in surprise.
"No," one serving girl whispered "no princess."
People silently mumbled, passing the word and no one gave me up. Another scream this time a man. The kicks were still happening to the door. These were my people, afraid, tormented and yet they were loyal. My heart burst with their love mingled with the rage I felt for these dark intruders and before I knew what I was doing I was pressing through the crowed towards the wizard, at the edge of my people I saw his eyes glint. I raised my hand and blasted him; he went flying into the wall behind him, a crack, and his neck broke. After the wizard the guards were no problem, I darted left whacking him with the fire poker, then ducked as I let the blunt object go and grabbed the falling sword from the man I had struck slashing across him before plunging it into the other, raising my hand again I blasted the back door. Turning back I tugged twice before finally getting the sword out of the man. I felt sick but had to deal with it later. I had taken a life but right now I had more lives to protect, fleeing out the back with my people.

Severus, six others including Ron raced with me through the hallways, stopping only to take down the guards, Severus thought the throne room would be where Voldemort was, hopefully with Draco.
The throne room was heavily guarded, I ran a hand though my hair once taking a tired breath before we launched around the corner, the first man I killed was unaware my sword sliding into a slot between his armour plates, ripping it out of the dying man I turned my sword towards me and thrust into another man behind men, spinning I grabbed another's arm catching him off balance and slashed at his face.
The twelve guards dead, three of mine as well and Ron with a nasty gash to the leg. I had sustained a stab to the arm but my adrenaline at being so close to Draco pushed me on. Throwing open the doors I felt something push me to the ground and a bright green light. Fred was gone, protected me from the killing spell.
"You bastard," I screamed pushing myself up, the Weasley's were family to me; I held my sword at the ready looking up at the thing. It was hauntingly pale, unnatural reddish eyes and no nose. The black it wore made its sickly self seem even more ghostly. But out of the corner of my eye chained to the throne was Draco, bundled in silk, veil on and sporting two black eyes "No Draco!"
The thing, Lord Voldemort laughed tugging the chain which made my Angel whimper "your too late Potter, he is mine, so take a good look he will be the last thing you see." In a flurry of robes he magically raised from the throne a sword appearing in his hand, the torches exploded at his flight as he cackled making a dive.

I raced across the grounds with my people; I needed to make it to the Potter soldiers. Several of Voldemort's men were scattered about but the kitchen staff and myself had gathered up whatever we could find to fight them, I swung the sword throwing myself into the blow, he dodged as I moved a step back then darted forward intent on his leg, he countered as we exchanged blows. His fist caught me and I tasted blood.
"Had enough," he taunted as I waited, Harry taught me to anticipate the move and strike. He swung and I lunged under his arm stabbing under his shoulder into his ribcage, dead.
I didn't stop to think, 'don't think, and do' Harry's voice told me and darted to help another of my people.
We fought when cornered and ran when we could; I was tired not having recovered from Leo. But pushed on, Leo needed me. I had to find the red clad knights of Potter only then could I stop.
