A.N. Hi guys, I am sorry I haven't updated in forever but I was writing this in a notebook and I lost the notebook for a while and last night I was rummaging through my stuff and I found it and was like wooo now I can keep writing! But anyway here is the next chapter (finally) and I hope you enjoy and don't forget to R+R as I love hearing what you think. But have a fantastically splendiferous day or night and I will talk to you guys when I upload the next chapter (which I hopefully won't take as long to upload as I did for this one) but I know you guys just want to get to the story (or at least I hope you do) so I will stop rambling and let you get to it. (also because I said it halfway through this don't forget to R+R)
The Alien Suns
As I stepped outside I saw the most beautiful thing ever. We were on a whole different planet. Under our feet the grass was the colour of a sunset, the trees stretched so tall I couldn't even see the tops. The tree trunks were a bright blue, the sky was a bright red. The animals were mostly blue and red, but the most amazing feature was the planet's suns. There were TWO suns. After I finished admiring I asked, "Why here Doctor?" His reply was, "Because this is where the TARDIS went. I didn't choose here." "Oh." "Let's take a look around and see if we can find something fishy." "Doctor, would this count as fishy?" I pointed at two men who were whispering and then just disappeared and in their places were two trees with purple leaves and silver apples. "Yes, very." He took what looked like a screwdriver out of his coat pocket. "What's that?" I asked "Oh, this, this is my sonic screwdriver. It makes a noise and does things." "Oh." He pushed a button on his sonic screwdriver and aimed it at the apple tree. He held the button and it made a whistling noise and started glowing similar to a blue torch. He let go of the button and looked at something on the sonic and with a look of confusion he said, "That's impossible." "What's impossible, Doctor?" I asked him. I was very interested to know what he saw.
"There's nothing wrong. It's a normal tree, no chemicals, no genetic mutations, no special water or fertilizer, nothing." He started pacing back and forth with an expression on his face where his eyes were slightly wider, his eyebrows turned in a bit and his lips a little bit thinner and stretched across his teeth, his nose slightly wrinkled. I could tell he was thinking. I had an idea that might help him, "Doctor, maybe it's a trapdoor." I tried. He just shrugged it off and said, "That would be a huge step back technologically speaking, seeing as these people are very far ahead in terms of technology." I knew I was on the right path so I tried again, "What about a teleportation device?" "Not that, that would-" He interrupted himself to say, "Wait, what did you say?" I answered with, "I said, what about a teleportation device?" I told him repeating what I said when he hadn't fully heard me.
His face lit up, "THAT'S BRILLIANT!" he shouted. He was so excited that he kissed me full on and then hugged me very tightly. I stood there too stunned to move, but it seemed like he was used to doing sudden things like that because right away he continued what he was doing. I decided things like that didn't really mean anything to him and I continued to follow him around. He pushed the button on his sonic again and started to circle the apple trees, meanwhile he started to explain and ask questions, "why would they be taking people and putting trees in their place? It doesn't make any sense. What would they need with the people? Why would they put trees in their place? We have to figure it out. Come on then, let's go!" he said all of this very quickly and I had no idea what he was talking about but I only had one question for him, "Where are we going?" he looked at me with a very excited almost mischievous grin as he said, "I have no idea, I guess we'll find out when we get there." His eyes lit up and I realized he loved not knowing things, as it made it much more exciting. I ran up to meet him and he grabbed my hand as he said, "Ready to jump?" I nodded and we bent our knees, he looked at me then back in front of him, "ALON-SY!" he shouted and we jumped forward and fell or what felt like falling.
