The Fae Prince

Chapter 19

The Prince and His Consort

Who is this? And what is here?

And in the lighted palace near

Died the sound of royal cheer,

And they cross'd themselves for fear,

All the knights at Camelot:

But Lancelot mused a little space,

He said, 'She has a lovely face,

God in His mercy lend her grace,

The Lady of Shalott.'

The Lady of Shalott by Alfred, Lord Tennyson 1809-1892

"I am Samisfallen, Prince of the Fae."

After declaring himself and settling to the ground in front of the McKenna brothers, Samisfallentransformed into the human Sam again. Taking Dean's hand he faced the brothers.

Rob McKenna checked his brother Daniel over and appealed to Sam. "You said that thing used a poison spear. Is my brother going to be OK?"

Sam stepped forward and dropped to his knees before the younger McKenna. "Don't fear. I said I would heal him and I keep my word." Sam took out his bodkin and drew a thin slice through his palm. He allowed his Fae blood to drip into the wound and it change from red to a silvery smear. Sinking into Daniel McKenna's body the blood began to work its magic. Daniel's pain receded; the black crawling poison tracery on his skin changed color and began to fade while the wound itself began to close.

Sam looked at the older brother. "Daniel is now touched by Fae. Give me your hand also."

Hesitantly Rob stretched out a hand and Sam grasped it with his bleeding palm. Rob felt a tingle pass through his hand and up his arm. He felt invigorated and refreshed.

Slowly Daniel rose to his feet and untied the thong above his knee.

Dean spoke up. "I think it would be good if we all found some place to sit down and talk for a bit."

Once more inside the Inn and seated in the bar the two Fae and the two Hunters discussed what had just happened.

"What attacked you was an Unseelie Huntsman." Sam spoke quietly. "They are the dark Fae and hate all living things.

"I thought you were Fae?" Rob questioned.

"I am a Prince of the Seelie Court." Sam replied. "We don't kill indiscriminately. We create life and treasure it although you don't want to make us angry. We are also capable of great destruction like our cousins the Unseelie. I have saved the two of you and touched you both with my blood. You can now see the Fae in any disguise."

"Why?" Daniel asked.

"I want you to spread the word among your fellow Hunters. You may go on and kill evil but don't touch the Fae in any form. You two can now see more than other humans. Warn your fellow Hunters against the murder of innocents. To do so may call the Fae into your world. I have given this warning to others but my human consort tells me my warnings have not been understood. I charge you with the mission of speaking for me and my kind,"

"We'll need to be pretty careful about that," Rob responded. "Some may regard us now as the enemy and worthy of a hunt."

"Dean and I have survived in this world. Some of your Hunters I hope will prove to be more intelligent than others we have met."

Sam rose from the table and waved the waitress away. "We are leaving now. The Unseelie door has been sealed. No Huntsmen can gain entrance now. Tell your employer that her house has been cleared. If you need us go to Singer Salvage in Sioux Falls and ask the man who lives there to take you to the Rowan Tree door. You can speak here and the message will be heard. Call us only in times of great need. We will come in force and ready for battle so pick your moment carefully.

Sam and Dean returned to the Impala leaving the McKenna brothers to deliver Sam's message to the Hunters' community. The growling black beast of a car swept through the Pennsylvanian mountains and fled down slope to the Ohio River valley. Millions of years of eroded mountains fell behind them as they headed out on to the River basins of the early Mid-west.

Every mile brought them closer to their destination and each day brought nearer the end of Sam's exile. Summer was turning into fall and in the spring Sam would go home. San smiled at his consort and consider the ways they could fill their time. They would Hunt for Bobby and Sam would teach his consort the ways of the Fae. Before that could happen Dean would have to be turned.

..-.._..-.._..-.._..-..

Spring came late to South Dakota that year and after a long cold winter the sight of new leaves on the trees, apple and cherry blossoms bursting into bloom, turned Sam's mind to the memories of spring in the Fae world. It was nearing the time for Sam to go home and he had yet to turn Dean. The teenager's human soul would have to be submerged in the Fae transmogrification to keep Dean safe. A human soul in the Fae world burned with a light that called predators in from all the hidden places.

On the warmest of the spring days Sam led Dean out to the Rowan Tree Gate and laid him down on the soft moss. Slowly and sweetly fondling his consort Sam stripped the boy naked. With his lover splayed before him Sam stood and removed his own clothing. Starting with the softest of slow kisses the Fae searched out every inch of skin, touched all the hidden places of Dean's body and slicked the boy's skin and entrance with fragrant oils. Sam also slit the skin over his heart and had the boy drink his blood.

"Why are we going this, Sam?" Dean asked, already a little drunk on the Fae vital fluid. Sam's blood was also a mild soporific and Dean became relaxed and compliant in his lover's hands.

"I am filling you with Fae charms. The blood is moving throughout your system, purifying and preparing the way for the magic to burrow under your skin. Soon the ritual will cause the door to open just the smallest amount and you will be bathed in the light of the Fae.

Sam lay lightly upon his lover's body. "This is the ritual." He whispered. "I worship you."

Starting at the boy's head Sam ran his fingers through Dean's hair and held his head immobile. Sam's long pink tongue swept around Dean's ear and licked down the column of the boy's throat. Sam nipped at the boy's full lips and nibbled lightly. That wonderful tongue explored the boy's mouth and Dean panted and clutched at his lover's arms.

Sam slid a knee up and separated his consort's legs, pushing and rubbing their bodies together. Dean panted and pressed his erection into his lover's body, while one of Sam's oil slicked hands played rudely with the boy's nipples. Fully aroused Dean whimpered and begged, locking his legs around Sam's waist as he tried to force the issue. Sam was fully in control however and wanted more time to play with the flesh laid out for him. A long finger entered the boy and Dean moaned and thrust, begging for more sensatoin.

Sam prepared his consort slowly, lovingly and made the boy wait. Dean rocked and pleaded and tightened his hold on Sam's waist. "Please, please, more. I want more." The boy rubbed his erection on his lover's belly, rocking forward then back, trapped between two pleasures. Finally Sam lined up and entered his consort.

Dean arched and moaned and asked for harder and deeper.

Sam wrapped his arms round the boy and lifted him off the ground, settling Dean in his lap. The Fae impaled the boy on his dick and Dean cried out in rapture. Finally Dean's orgasm hit and his cum spread between their bodies. Sam responded with even more powerful thrusts, dropping the boy down as the Fae lunged up and then pulsed and filled his consort with his seed.. As both males gloried in their orgasms the Rowan Tree Door cracked and a cold blue light fell on the lovers.

For just a moment Sam saw what his consort would look like as fully Fae.

Dean was elongated and translucent but still broad in the shoulders. His hair spread out in a golden halo and his green eyes glowed with an eldritch light. He was beautiful.

For a space of a couple of heart beats there were two Fae forms floating in front of the tree, joined together.

The magic swirled around them and they drifted closer to the open door. Sam regained control of his body and pulled them away from the beckoning light.

"Not yet, my love." he whispered. "Soon, but not yet."

They dropped back to the ground in human form and gathered their clothes from the bushes and grass. Sam took his consort's hand and led the boy back through the woods to Bobby Singer's house.

..-.._..-.._..-.._..-..

Bobby saw them coming from the kitchen window. He saw the way they looked at each other. Sam fondly looking down while Dean looked back at his lover from under his long eyelashes. Bobby knew well that Sam's time was coming to an end and he felt sure that Dean would follow his Fae wherever Sam wanted to go.

Bobby set out the dinner he had made and sat down at the table, a glass of wine in his hand. Since Sam had come there was more wine kept in the house and Bobby was growing fond of the taste. He still had his beer and his rotgut but the wine made him feel older, settled and wise.

He listened to the sound of his boys climbing the stairs and wondered how much longer it would be until he was alone in the house again.

They arrived in his kitchen holding hands and pulled out chairs for dinner. Sam saw the sadness in the Hunter's eyes.

"Bobby," Sam said. "We all know that soon I will be returning to my father's Kingdom. I believe that Dean is going with me." Dean nodded his head in agreement.

"I just wanted you to know that we are not going to abandon you. We will come often and you can call us whenever you need us. We aren't going to be that far away." Sam said.

"I know," Bobby responded between bites of chicken. "It won't be the same though as having someone in the house."

Sam looked down and played with his fork, moving the food around on his plate. "There is something I would like to ask of you but I'm not sure if you're going to like it."

"Ask away, boy," Bobby responded. "I can only say no."

"Would you mind if I sent young Fae here to learn about the human world?" Sam looked up. "I promise to send only the best. No trouble makers, just those Fae with inquisitive minds."

Bobby snorted. "Is there such a thing as a young Fae? What exactly is young in your world?"

"That's true." Sam smiled back. "I promise that they will look and act like teenagers. Would you take them on and teach them the ways of your world? The Fae have lost contact with your world and we grow stuffy and bored and bound by ritual. I believe this may be very good for my world. We have grown too set in our ways and the imagination and sense of adventure that once fueled our people is draining away. What do you think?"

"After you two I've grown somewhat accustomed to having someone around. If you really think it would benefit your world send them along." Bobby replied. "Make sure they understand the rules and bring them yourselves to meet me. I'll have to work on a way to keep them safe from Hunters."

Sam thought for a moment. "Do you remember those two Hunters we told you about that we met in Pennsylvania, Rob and Daniel McKenna? We found them in the Keystone state but they told us they were from Tennessee."

"I remember the names." Bobby said. "Not sure I've heard about them from anyone but you."

"I think you would like them and they are very aware of the arrangement here. I think the young one, Daniel, would like a Fae partner." Sam mused. "I think you might try to get a message through to them."

"Not such a bad idea," Bobby said. "I'll see what I can do. Since we're on the subject, do you two have any idea when you'll be ready to return to your land of the Fae?"

"My exile is up in another week." Sam said. "We'll try going through the portal then. It depends on Dean's progress in transmutation."

Bobby looked at Dean in surprise. "How are you coming with that Dean? Are you comfortable with the change?"

Dean smiled and glanced at his lover. "I'm already more than half way there, Bobby, and I think I'm going to like it, especially since I'll be able to spend centuries with Sam."

Sam laughed. "I better hope you never get bored. I'll have to come up with ways to keep you entertained."

"If this all works out," Bobby said "there is only one problem we're going to have to face sooner or later. John Winchester. I've already heard whispers that some his old friends don't plan on letting him rot in jail over a couple of werewolf heads."

"I was afraid this was going to come up," Sam said. "I have thought about it and I think I have an answer to the problem."

"You aren't going to kill him, are you Sam?" Dean asked, clear eyed and unemotional.

Sam was pleased. Dean was becoming Fae even faster than Sam had hoped.

Bobby grunted. "I really hope that's not what you want to do, Sam. I can't agree to kill the man, even if he deserves it twenty times over."

"No, I'm not thinking about killing him." Sam quietly answered. "I'm going to take it up with my father. I believe that John Winchester would fit right into the Wild Hunt and the Hunt Captain has been after my father for the past few centuries to get him a new rider."

"Whoa," Bobby exclaimed. "Are you talking about the actual legendary Wild Hunt? Woden's Hunt? The WildeJagd? Your father controls the Hunt? I'm impressed."

Sam laughed out loud. "You know the legend. It has been long suspected that the original Hunt was made up of the Fae with various Heroes and Hunters drafted in through the centuries such as the British St. Guthlac and Hereward the Wake, among others. Even King Arthur was suspected to be a member of the Hunt, although I don't know how you would verify that."

"My father can arrange for John Winchester's soul to be taken in his sleep and mounted on a Hunt black horse. Once there he cannot dismount. He must ride forever, following Hunt Captain's orders. To dismount is to turn to a pile of ashes and be blown away by the storm."

Sam turned to Dean. "Not dead but certainly not alive, he would ride forever, immortal. He can make the decision to dismount and die but we would not be responsible for his death. Do you want me to talk this over with the King?"

Dean put his hand in Sam's, "I remember that you provide and I obey. It's your decision and I will accept whatever you decide. After all these years the man means little or nothing to me. Do as you will."

..-.._..-.._..-.._..-..

It was All Hallows Eve and once again Dean and Sam stood in front of the Roman Tree Gate. Dean curled back into his lover's arms and Sam held him tight. "Are you ready, my love?" Sam whispered in his ear. "If I take you one more time in front of this gate we will pass in and you will become my Fae consort for as long as we are both alive. Are you ready?"

"Of course I'm ready." Dean replied. "I feel as if I have been ready all my life." He turned in Sam's arms and stretched up to reach the tall Prince's lips. Dean removed his boots and pants and wrapped his legs around his lover's waist.

Sam laughed and held his love close. Lowering his own pants he held the smaller man up and search for his entrance with long, nimble fingers. Finding the prize Sam slicked Dean's entrance with Fae magic and took his lover as they stood. When they both reach orgasm and the Prince spilled his seed the door opened wide and the lovers entered into the world of the Fae.

The Fae moon rode high and silvered the hills. They uncoupled and dressed with the Fae clothing sucked through the door with them. Sam took Dean's hand and they walked out of the Rowan Tree's hidden vale and climbed to the hill top.

Rolling away to the far mountains the hills undulated like ocean waves. The stars looked down and the peaks of the distant mountains glistened with snowy glaciers. Wispy moon lit clouds scudded across the sky. It was a scene of peace and magic. Far away they could hear the Huntsman's horns, musical at the distance.

Sam took his lover's hand and they moved downhill to the forests and the Seelie Court.

They walked for what felt like miles before the Court unmasked itself and Samisfallen was welcomed back to his proper place beside the King of the Fae. With his consort by his side Sam was greeted by the Gentlemen of his house, Raymond, Carmel and his cousin Ethan. Added now was Evan Wesson, Sam gift to Ethan. Evan still had Sam's house marks imprinted on his face, pale green vines curled up his cheeks and around his eyes. Now fully Fae, Evan's beauty was only enhanced by the pale vines.

The lost werewolf, now in control of his curse lingered at the back of the group, still hesitant to push his way forward, shy and still surprised and grateful that Samisfallen would accept him into his house.

Dean looked around at the assembled Fae has they phased in and out of sight. He would catch sight of a regal form drenched in moonlight and sprinkled with stars. Then another form would float by, colors swirling in pastel shades as fragments of fog clothed the naked body.

Sam stood away and looked at Dean. Sam had already transformed and now held his hand out to his lover. Dean reached out and transformed in turn. All the court now became perfectly visible and the King upon his silver night time throne smiled and nodded in acceptance of his son's consort.
