I don't own Class of the Titans.

We walked for almost three days. Nothing out of the ordinary happened. No enemy... well, two or three and we fought them quite fast. I can't help but I'm a little worried; more we're getting closer to Sunmil, more Theresa is feeling bad. I mean by bad, not a little headache, no. I mean she almost look like a zombie with fever. Just this morning, she almost faint as we were walking. We're going to be at Sunmil at the sunset, so I hope she'll be alright until that.

She's on Herry's back and she's groaning in pain, holding her forehead. We're all stopping. Either way it's a simple headache or she got a very bad feeling. Better know before we continue.

''Theresa?'' I'm asking as I'm coming closer to her and I can see she's have lines of sweats coming down of her forehead. It's a very bad sign.

''They're closer. Jay, I know now why no one ever came back alive from Sunmil. It's because- Neil! Watch out!'' Theresa is yelling and Neil had to jump away with a scream, making fall Odie since Neil was holding Odie's arm. Some of us screamed in surprise too. An arrow is right at the place Neil was some seconds before. He's sitting on the ground, panting in fear.

''Everyone! The weapons out!'' I'm quickly ordering and they're quickly getting their weapons in their hand. Theresa is going down of Herry's back and getting out her weapon, showing she was ready to fight. In her situation, I rather see her waiting we finish this fight than see her fight and maybe faint.

''Oh. Finally. I was wondering when you'll be there.'' I'm hearing behind me. I'm quickly turning and I see a man with many men behind him. I guess he's the leader of the gang. ''By the way, what happened to my messenger?''

''I broke his neck after he attacked one of us.'' Herry is saying between his teeth, cracking his fists in warning. The man is shaking his head.

''Too bad. He was a good messenger. Well, things happen.'' What the- That, is what I call a very bad leadership. He didn't care about the death of one of his team members. That really pisses me off. ''You got my message, I hope?''

''Yeah, we got it. Don't think we'll let you kill all of us.'' I'm saying and he's smiling. His smile really creeps me out. It's like he wants to rape us or something.

''What about a simple fight, then. The leader's fight.'' Oh ho, I don't like where this is going. ''Your leader is fighting me. The rest are just watching. The fight is to the end.''

I'm debating in my head. Should I fight or not? ''What happens if you win?'' I'm asking and he's licking his lips. More creepy. Gods, what happen to simple, not creepy enemies like Cronus? I seriously miss that time in New Olympia... and I never thought in my life I would miss fighting with that god of time.

''I'll kill all the men if they don't want to follow me and I'll send the women with my men... but in my room before. Our beds are quite cold these last days.'' Oh shit. I'm seriously shivering right now. If I accept, it's my friends' lives I'm playing with. I'm looking at my team and they're quite scared. I think I heard them gasping in surprise when he told us what will happen. I'm taking a breath.

''And if I win?'' I'm asking and he's laughing.

''What? You are the leader, kid?'' I'm trying so hard to don't blush as everyone around us is laughing. I know I'm a teenager, but a kid? Really? ''Ah, dear. If you win, you'll see what is going to happen.'' He's telling me and I don't know what to do.

''What's going to happen if he refuse your fight?'' Archie is asking and I'm waiting for his answer. I need to have that in mind too. If I can refuse the fight, I will.

''Good question. If he refuses, it's like I win.'' Guess I don't have the choice then. I'm stepping closer and I'm looking at him right in the eyes.

''Alright, but I have the choice of the weapon.'' I'm telling him and he's nodding. ''We're fighting with swords.''

''Alright then. Men, step away and leave his team alone... for now.'' He's saying and I'm glaring him. I'm taking off my cape and I'm throwing it to my team's direction. Odie caught it. If I'm going to fight to the death, I rather be comfortable with my movements.

I'm taking my sword and I'm getting ready. It's like a fight versus Cronus. I just need to think that way and I'll be alright. I had training with gods. What can go wrong? He's taking his sword and examining it to know if it's in good shape. He's looking at me and he's doing a quick sign with his eyebrow before he's starting to attack.

Damn! That man sure knows how to use a sword. His sword is maybe longer than mine, but for now, he's not winning. We're almost in the same level. Right now, it's the sound of sword against sword. None of us actually managed to hit the other one. Thanks for all my training, I'm able to dodge quite a lot of his hits.

''Come on Jay! You can do it!'' Herry is yelling and, I got to admit, it's really helping to know my team is behind me. The men are encouraging their leader and I had difficulty to hear my team. I think they are too absorbed by the fight to comment. After all, their lives are in my hands.

''You know.'' I'm looking at the man's eyes when I heard him whispering to me. ''A war is over only when the leader is down.''

''Kill me and my team won't follow you.'' I'm answering in a whisper. I know them. Never one of us will follow the killer of one of us. He's smirking as he's dodging one of my attack with his sword.

''Well, you all going to die. It's over!'' He's screaming the last part as he's moving too fast for me. By all the gods! The pain! I'm pretty sure I'm screaming in pain. He totally hit me on the chest. With the force of the hit, I'm hitting myself on something quite hard. I don't know what it is. I'm falling on the ground and I'm trying to look at the enemy. All is becoming black. The full darkness and the bitter cold inside me. I can't move a muscle, a once of my body. All the dark is around me and the pain is killing me. Am I going to die? Is it... the end?
