I don't own Class of the Titans.
Am I dead? I'm not sure. I only was dead once and... I don't know, it felt quite different. It's like I'm on a cloud, having the impression I'm feeling nothing at all. I remember when I die at New Olympia, I felt the pain, my head was killing me. Right now, nothing.
I'm trying to open my eyes and I'm starting to panic with the thought I'm might be unable to open them again. I- I think I'm still alive. My heart is racing. I'm trying to calm down and, slowly, I'm getting back the ability to move. I'm trying again to open my eyes and, this time, I did it.
I so want to scream in happiness but it's like I have no energy. It's limit if I have the energy to breath. Uh? I really don't recall where I am. Well, the fact I see blurry right now is not helping either. It's look like an infirmary. My vision finally focus and I'm looking around. Yep, an infirmary. I'm looking at my right and I'm seeing Theresa, sitting at a desk. She seems to be in deep... whatever she's doing.
I'm trying to talk, but it's like someone seal my lips. I'm only doing some noises. Well, looks like it was enough to warn Theresa. She's looking at me and I can read all the surprise and the relief to see me.
''Jay! Oh dear gods! You're awake!'' She's saying as she's running to hug me. I'm hearing her crying. Poor her. I didn't expect her to be so worry. She's breaking the hug and looking at me with a smile.
''The-re-sa.'' Finally! Took some times before I can pronounce something. She's shushing me softly.
''Don't speak. It's alright. We're in security.'' She's saying and I'm really not sure. After all, we still have these enemies and- ''We... we did it Jay. We did it. It's over.''
Oh my god. Is she serious? She's placing her fingers on my head and I can feel her shaking. She's showing me what happened and- Here's come the Greek swearing in my mind. I wasn't expecting the phantom to come out and not like that. It's really scary.
Theresa is taking off her fingers of my head and I'm looking at her. Now, it hit me. We did it. We really did it. Like in New Olympia, when I learned we won against Cronus, I'm crying in relief. Theresa is whipping my tears.
''Like New Olympia. We did it.'' She's saying softly and the emotions are just too big. I can't stop crying. Theresa is lying next to me, her head on my shoulder, her hand holding mine. Somehow, it's calming me.
''Than- thanks.'' I'm managing to say and she's kissing my shoulder.
''Anytime.'' She's saying and she's sitting. She's looking down at me. ''I was so scared to lose you. We manage to save you, but that thought you might never wake up... I was so afraid. It's-''
I had to stop her. I'm using the so left of my energy to bring her down and kissing her, shutting her. She's kissing me back with all her emotions. Yep, a little salty. After all, we're both crying. She's breaking the kiss and she's smiling.
''I need to warn the others. You'll be alright for some minutes?'' She's asking and I'm nodding. She's leaving the room with a run.
I forgot to ask her where we are. Oh well, I'll ask when she'll come back. I'm taking the time she's gone for trying to move. Also, I wanted to examine myself. For what I can see, I'm topless, my chest is bandaged and a have a blanket on my legs. The rest of my wounds, it's minor. I'm trying to sit, but my chest and my stomach are hurting so much. It's like they are in fire.
''Whoa buddy! Stay lying on the bed!'' I'm hearing Herry saying with panic as he's forcing me to stay lay.
''Al-right. Just... try- trying.'' I'm saying and I'm looking at my team. I'm glad they seems to be alright... well, I can't make miracle for Atlanta's state. At least, she's looking more joyful.
''Just trying, yeah. Go easy. You just woke up.'' Odie is saying and I'm remembering my questions.
''Whe- where-''
''I'm stopping you right there. We're at the base of the enemies. They're closer to Sunmil. That's why no one ever came back alive from there. The enemies were closer and they killed every person brave enough to come here.'' Theresa is explaining and I'm shivering. Well, I hope it was from what she told me and not from some kind of fever.
Odie is placing a hand on my forehead and I'm moaning in relief. I'm feeling his hand cold and it's helping me.
''Err, I think we should get some ice. His forehead is pretty hot.'' Odie is saying and I'm trying again to sit. Odie is stopping me faster.
''Jay! Try to rest! Don't move!'' Theresa is saying- should I say saying or ordering? Yeah, ordering.
''Stop... bos-bossing.'' I'm saying and she's glaring me.
''Sorry to say that but you're not really a very good leader when you're sick. Just rest, we'll manage the time you'll get better.'' Theresa is saying and the others are nodding. I'm groaning and I'm nodding.
''Don't worry, we'll be good little kids.'' Archie is saying, visibly mocking me. I'm closing my eyes and I'm starting to fall asleep. I'm not sure who placed an ice bag on my forehead, but it feels so good.
''Take some strength, I need to tell to all of us something about this place.'' Theresa is whispering in my ear and I'm letting out some agreeing sound. I can't wait to hear about that.
