Clace
Clary's POV
It's been almost 2 years after the dark war and everything has been looking up. Simon has most of his memories back and is training to be a shadowhunter. Alec and Magnus are engaged and have been planning the wedding for 6 months now. My mom and Luke are happy back in New York my mom is painting again. Also Maia and bat have been dating ever since Jordan died. Maia has taken very good care of the pack and has big plans for them.
That only leaves Jace and I. We are still going strong and as a matter of fact he wants to see me at angel square soon. I grab my coat and head out the door. I still haven't found a permit place for me yet and it's still to painful to live in Amitas house.
I arrive at the square looking for Jace. I spot him on the other side of the square. I make my way over to him he sees me and a smile crosses his face. When I am by his side he reaches over and pulls me up for a kiss. It's a slow soft kiss. The ones I love.
When we break he grabs my hands and pulls me to toward the stables.
"Jace where are you taking me?" I ask
"Somewhere peaceful. I would like to send the day with me lovely laddie." He says with a smirky grin on his face.
"Jace Lightwood I will not have sex with without four walls around me." I say and he smiles back at me.
Once we are in the stables he helps my on the horse then he jumps up in front of me. I can see a picnic basket on the side of the horse and a blacker on the other. Before we start moving Jace lens back and says "that's something I have been meaning to talk to you about." But before I could answer he kicks the horse to start moving. I feel a jolt as the horse starts moving and I tightly rap my arms around him.
It takes about 15 minuets to get to where jace has picked for us to go. I look around and realize that we are at the entrance to the Herondale mansion. He pulls the horse to a stop. He gets down then helps me. He unites the the basket and the blanket and he starts to walk to the back of the house, he places the blanket in the flower garden.
He smoothes the blanket down in front of him and places the picnic basket on top of it.
"Care to join me?" He says holding out his hand for me to sit down. I take his hand and we sit on the blanket for awhile then he pulls out two glasses and a wine bottle, some sandwiches, and some strawberries.
He pours me a glass of wine and hands me a sandwich. I smile and take a bit into my sandwich. Then I feel something hard hit my teeth. I pull the odd shaped thing out of my mouth and I find that it is a ring. Jace takes it out of my hand and gets down on one knee. I gasp and almost choke on my sandwich.
"Clary Fray, I have loved you sense the day I saw you. And I love you now. Clary Fray will you do me the favor and become my Herondale?" Jace asks
"YES YES I will. I will be your Herondale. I love you Jace and can't wait to get married." I say with a little sequel at the end and I rap my SRAMs a rounds his neck a kiss him with all the love I have.
This will be a day I will never forget.
