Chapter 7 The Airport
They ran as fast as they could, the sound of a chainsaw following not too far behind. They saw a small house and decided to hide there a moment before moving on. Sonic and Amy held Tails close and Chip held Charmy close so he wouldn't hurt himself in his wounded state.
Tails saw a set of buildings in the distance and saw two places, one was a slaughterhouse and the other an abandoned airport. They knew that the place was abandoned but the airport was their best bet and they had to pass through the slaughterhouse to get there but idea of going to a there was horrible.
Their thoughts were interuppted as a chainsaw began to tear through the front door, "Lets go!" Sonic told them knowing it was time to go, they all climbed out the window and Leatherface swung the chainsaw at Sonic as he got out the window slightly cutting through the bottom of his shoe and giving a slight cut to the sole of his left foot. Luckily it wasn't deep enough to slow him down greatly, the friends continued toward the slaughterhouse.
Upon entering they could smell the stench of old meat, it was really unnerving with the chainsaw following wherever they went and even worse that Leatherface was known to use tools that could be found here and did terrible things so he and his sick family could eat others.
Sonic despite being hurt was still fastest and he helped lead everyone through the building, Leatherface knew the area and went around the back and attempted to beat them to the exit, they were unaware as they kept moving and met Leatherface at the exit and he brought the saw down nearly straight through Sonic's head but moved and performed a homing attack on him which wasn't as strong as usual thanks to injuries.
Leatherface stumbled but then ran back after them after getting up, he took a hammer and a few knifes and meat hooks with him before moving on.
"We have to try and find a plane that works still." Tails said weakly as they entered the area of the airport.
