Daphne stood on the ship's stateroom balcony, staring up at the stars as the boat sailed slowly through the deep blue sea. The tears in her eyes blurred the silvery moon before streaming down her cheeks. Why did this have to happen? Things with John were going so well and she loved him deeply. She gasped as two arms went around her and she turned in surprise to find herself staring at his handsome face. "John… what are you doing here? I-I mean how-."
