Sorry I have not uploaded in a long time. I had no way to get Internet and it was Christmas break.

I sighed, staring at the window and to the bright blue planet in the sky.

"Hey, Frost."

I turned to see Kai standing behind me. I smiled at him then turned back to the window. Kai walked around and sat next to me on the bed.

He sighed. "So you're a ninja now?"

"Yeah. Guess so."

"You feel that you have the power to destroy Guilt now? Are you going to face him so soon?"

I bit my lip and clenched my hands into one large ball.

"I… I have to. If I don't… he will…"

"Zane told us while you were in the other room being cured…. He has your love doesn't he…?"

I looked at Kai's eyes and nodded.

"I don't know about a love, but Garmadon had once kidnapped my sister, Nya. I could tell by your attitude that you're trying to save her quickly."

"Yeah."

A silent moment passed.

"And to think you're only 18." Uncle Kai said.

"Yeah, sometimes I just miss my old life."

"What was your old life?"

"What do you mean?"

"You never had a normal life… I had dragged you into all of this the second you were born." A voice came from the door. I swiftly turned and saw Zane standing there, sorrow clearly in his eyes. Kai looked to him, and they nodded to each other. With a slight sigh Kai got up and left, waving to my briefly. Uncle Zane came and sat next to me.

"What do you mean I was dragged in since I was born?"

"Frost, all of your life you have done nothing but train and travel. It was all to stop the villain that I had created. Guilt is an evil thing, Nephew, as you know by now. Despite how it is evil, there is always a twinge of guilt in everyone's hearts. Whether it is something as small as bailing out on a friend or something like committing a murder. But I… I have guilt on top of guilt. I feel guilty that I had created Guilt, when I shouldn't have felt guilty in the first place. It was my sister's choice to fall, her choice to die rather than drag me down with her. I realize that now, but only from Guilt's birth." (Confusing XD)

I stared at my uncle's eyes, swallowing. He stared at the blue star in the distance.

"But, Uncle…." He didn't look at me; instead he looked to his hands. I reached out and grasped one in my own hand. "You may have created Guilt, but you can help me destroy him once and for all."

"It is not that simple."

"Why not? Defeating Fear was simple."

"Was it? You were nearly killed. More than once!"

I stood and grasped both of my father's shoulders.

"Keep going like this and you are going to make Guilt stronger." I said with a serious tone. "Didn't Sensei Wu always say the past is the past, and the future is the future?"

My uncle looked up into my eyes finally, his eyes devoid of any spark. Was that from stress or lack of sleep?

"Frost, my nephew, you are bound to run right into a blade."

"Better to run into the blade than have the blade run into you."

My uncle chuckled and stood, looking down into my eyes silently. I noticed a slight spark.

I gave a small wag of both my tails and flapped my wings once.

"Frost. It is amazing how fast you have grown up."

"I've had to, have to if I am going to defeat Guilt."

"Hey, are you guys ready?"

We turned to find Jay standing in the doorway. "Sorry. The others are ready to return to Ninjago. Whenever you guys are ready meet us at the entrance."

I nodded and Jay walked out.

I closed my eyes and exhaled a single long breath, trying to relieve my sudden stress. My uncle put a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry, Frost. I will try to stay by your side until someone prevails."

I smiled and hugged him.

"—Stab wound?" Jay was asking Cole.

"I don't know…. I hope so, for Zane's sake."

"What about Ninjago's sake?" Kai said.

"Brothers, I am here." Zane announced as we walked towards them.

"I think the oracle said we have to point all of our elemental blades to the sky to open the portal." Cole explained as he pulled his golden handle from his back. Kai, Jay and Zane did the same.

"Fire!" Kai exclaimed, and his red blade shot out of the dragon's mouth with a burst of flame.

"Lightning!" Jay shouted, and his green/blue blade burst from his dragon's mouth with a shower of lightning bolts.

"Ice!" Zane screamed, and his crystal blade erupted from his dragon's mouth with a small burst of snow.

"Earth!" Cole yelled, and his multicolored blade shot from his dragon's mouth, leaving dust in its wake.

I watched as a small blue orb gathered from the four elemental blades. We stared at the shimmering orb.

"We need your powers, Frost." My uncle explained. I nodded and held my hands out to my sides.

"Light!" I exclaimed, and the air rippled in my in my right hand. The golden dragon handle formed with the same crystal and onyx eyes and emerald tail. The long golden blade burst forth in a ray of warm light.

"Darkness!" I shouted, and the air rippled in my left hand. The sapphire and ruby eyes glowed faintly as the black blade erupted form the golden handles in a puff of purple smoke.

I twirled my blades in my hands and brought them together, pointed them at the orb just as my uncles had.

The orb pulsated a green light, and a smaller sphere of gold appeared in the center. I watched in awe as a beam of pale blue light aimed at the ground. A small green circle formed at each of our feet as the orb slowly vanished into nothing. I looked to all of my uncles as the glow grew brighter and brighter, eventually forcing me to close my eyes.

I heard my uncles shout one by one, and I soon felt a tingling sensation all over my body. The tingling soon turned to a spinning sensation, and the sweet feel of grass soon met me under my boots.

I slowly opened my eyes to see my uncles' backs as they stared in the distance. I raced towards them and looked at their faces. They were filled with shock and horror. I slowly turned my head to see what they were staring at.

A nearby sign was cracked, and had chips of its marble surface lying around it. Despite its terrible condition, I was still able to read Welcome to Ninjago City! Where joy ad prosperity lies! But there was nothing joyous about the sight that met my eyes when I looked at the town ahead.

A huge cloud of smoke rose from the center, and the city gave a fiery glow as flames torched buildings that were once owned by people. Despite how the city was so far away I could hear every crackle of the scorching fire, every scream of a burning or devastated human, every demonic laugh that cackled in the smoke. I could smell and taste the death and the clouds of ash that floated in the air with every breath I took in.

I fell to my knees as I continued to stare at the horrid sight, tears streaming from my eyes.

"…Frost…. Frost…."

I blinked twice, hearing the faint calls of Uncle Zane, but not able to react to them. I was suddenly pulled up by my shirt and forced away from the horrid sight that seared itself into my mind. I felt myself be dragged onto a dirt trail, and onward.

It wasn't until a few hours later that we had stopped.

"Why hasn't the sun rose?" Kai asked as he looked to the smoky sky.

"There are two possible explanations…." Zane whispered. "Either the ash from the city is blocking the sun… or Guilt has prevented the sun from ever rising. Either way, this land is bound to have eternal night."

I heard them speak, but their voices were so distant….

"….Frost…?"

I turned to see Cole standing next to me, a hand hovering over my shoulder. I swallowed.

"All of those people…." I managed. Cole turned and looked to the others, who all looked to their feet. I clenched my fists and looked at the mountain of smoke in the distance and the glow over the trees. I shook violently as I slowly got from my knees. I turned and glanced to each of my uncles' faces. "Guilty may have started this mess…. But I am going to end this." I snarled. I opened my hands and the two blades appeared once more.

I aimed the dark blade at a nearby tree and watched as a small beam of black energy burst into the large trunk. The tree seemed to give an evil feel as the trunk turned into a black portal with dark purple swirls.

A portal to Guilt's Castle.

A portal to my possible death.

I took a few steps towards it and felt a hand grasp my wrist. I bit my lip.

"F-Frost…." I swallowed and hesitantly looked into the crystalline eyes of my uncle. Zane gave a shaky breath as he stared sadly into my eyes. "…Frost… please…"

I struggled not to cry as I simply shook my head.

"I… I am sorry…. Uncle… I have to do this alone… you know I do…"

"But what if Guilt kills you!?" Jay exclaimed with a voice of urgency.

"…Then I have finally run into his waiting blade…" I whispered, leaving Jay, for once, speechless.

"You're going to kill yourself going alone!" Kai screamed.

"…You aren't going to change my mind."

I ripped my hand form Zane's and walked towards the portal.

"But we promised that we would be with you!" Cole yelled.

"I know you did." I turned to look at them one last time. "If I don't make it back…." I stopped and swallowed my tears. "If I don't make it back… know that… that I tried…."

"Frost! Frost, please stop!" Zane cried as tears filled his eyes. He ran towards me.

I closed my eyes and took a step back. The dark portal swallowed me, teleporting me to my doubtless doom.

I stepped forward and stared once more at the dim and lifeless world that had once been Ninjago. I stared ahead at the castle that would soon become my tomb.

The castle appeared darker than the deepest abyss. A swirling cloud colored dark red curled around the tallest tower, hiding its top from view. Below the castle was a deep chasm, with a thin river of Dark Matter at the very end of the dark void. The dark purple substance gurgled and bubbled as though it were lava, and was waiting to claim a persons heart and turn it into pure darkness.

I took a deep breath and stepped forward, the feeling of defeat already creeping from my toes up towards my head. The wound in my stomach scorched with pain the closer I got to the castle. I heard Guilt's evil cackle in the deepest pits of my mind. I froze and stared at the castle as I made it to the large marble bridge. The only thing separating Guilt and me was this one little bridge.

"Frost! Frost, help me!"

I gasped and shot my head to the top of the tallest tower.

"Milla!" I screamed as her voice echoed through my mind. I clenched my blades as Guilt's taunting laugh filled my head once again. I burst forward into the castle. I heard a large clank as the bridge was struck by something metallic. I turned and saw a small black shuriken within the marble. I gasped and dove to the ground just as a large explosion cracked and splintered the bridge. Multiple pieces of black marble showered over me as the remains of the bridge fell into the dark chasm that surrounded the castle. I swallowed and stared down, watching as my only hope of escape splashed into the dark ooze below.

An evil laugh filled the castle, as I ran through multiple halls and corridors like a mad man.

I had eventually made it to a large room with paintings on the wall. They were paintings and pictures of my uncles. There were numbers on them, going from one to four. Cole had a huge one, Jay was two, Kai third and Zane with a huge four, all painted in red paint to resemble blood.

My eyes widened as I saw a large picture of me, a huge X scratched into it, slicing the image into four sections.

"Do you enjoy my little gallery?" Came a cold voice, devoid of any merci. The voice forced me to shiver.

I slowly turned to see a man standing in the doorway.

The man had pure white skin, whiter than I had ever seen. His hair was a beach blonde with red tips. He had two fangs and pure black eyes with ruby pupils. The man was tall, and really slender. He wore a black ninja robe, looking exactly like Zane's elemental robe, but instead of white there was red, and the symbol for ice was mirrored. All gold designs had now been changed to pure crimson. The man held, in his boney hand, an extremely long, and simple, katana.

The man smirked as his evil eyes met mine. "Oh, but I didn't make these beautiful pictures alone. I had some help."

Another, more graceful, figure strolled up next to Guilt.

She too had pure white skin. Her hair gracefully fell to her hips, her black locks fading into a dark red. She wore bright red lipstick and nail polish. Her irises were a dull red. She wore a simple golden and red ninja garb, and the symbol of destiny printed over her heart. She smirked.

"Oh, Frost. It truly has been a long time."

I swallowed as her voice reached my ears.

I couldn't believe it.

It couldn't have been….

But it was her.

Milla….
