What if Lolth had been in love? Who would she ever consider worthy of her, if not another Immortal? But what if he hadn't loved her? And what does any of this have to do with Drizzt Do'Urden? On Hold - Rewritten version currently being worked on.

12. Note

As I predicted, I am now redoing this... again. As I was working on the latest chapter I realized I'm not truly letting these characters develop at all. I'm trying to keep them within a 2D format that I can barely understand based off of the original characters in R.A. Salvatore's work.

This will not do and so I must undo what I've written and try again. I apologize to all my faithful readers for running you through the grindstone again of rereading what you already know. I also apologize for making you guys wait so long for an update, only to get this note..

I am hoping that this version is better and will not need to be redone, because I am researching the characters I write about and therefore have a better understanding of their personality.

I don't know if there is a God of Balance in the Forgotten Realms Universe (the thought hadn't occured to me until just now and I can't seem to find one), but I am taking liberty to create one who will only exist in this story (you, of course, already know what character I am talking about).

I want to learn how to put depth to a story without outright saying it to the audience (you). So again this will take time and I will not be back for a while as I practice not only on depth, but length.

I am also working on getting a different job in real life, so my writing is not top priority.

In the mean time I would like to bid you guys happy holidays and I hope to still see you when I come back.

Side note: My muse has been reborn, thanks to a fellow Drizzt Do'Urden fan who had told me that I need to read the next book in the series (in my pouting I had abandoned the series and wasn't aware of his next publishings). So a HUGE thank you to Izana Ootsutsuki for helping me out!
