Me: Heyo Heyo! I'm back! TIME FOR ZELDA TO MEET LINK! *Eyes twinkle*
Link: It's about time, too.
Me: Sorry if there are any grammar mistakes.
Zel and Link: B.C. doesn't own us.
Me: But I own an Ocarina!

"Do you have your schedule yet?" Saria asked me. I shook my head. "I don't even know where the office is." Saria simply grabbed my hand and dragged me through the halls. Hey, it's hard to run with someone who is shorter than you. "Saria! Can you slow down a bit?" I said, trying to get my hair out of my face.
When we finally stopped, I fixed my hair and looked up to see where we were. It was the office. Saria giggled and said, "I guess you could say that I know the school like the back of my hand." I smiled and shook my head as I walked inside.
"Excuse me," I said to the secretary. "May I have my schedule, Ma'am?" Her eyes widened before she smiled.
"Of course! What is your name, dear?"
"Zelda," I said. "Zelda Nohansen."
She handed me my schedule as I thanked her. "Have a great day," She called as we left the office.
"What was that all about?" I asked Saria.
"You were polite,"
I frowned. "Most people aren't?"
Saria shook her head. "People like Ganondorf demand their schedule."
"Who is this Ganondorf?"
Saria sighed. "The biggest bully you will ever meet."
"Then he is definitely going to be my enemy. What kind of name is that anyway? Ganondorf…" We laughed all the way to Japanese class.

After a few classes, we walked towards the music room together. I learned a lot about Saria by then. Her favorite subject was music. Her instrument was the ocarina, same as me, and the violin. She was a professional at both. I also learned that she was adopted and her best friend was her brother, Link. I thought it was sweet of her to be best friends with her brother. Saria also had a little sister named Aryll. I wish that I had siblings.
"So Navi is a fairy, right?"
Saria nodded. "Navi is Link's best friend other than me and Sheik."
Just then, Saria suddenly grabbed my arm. "I hear music," She said before she took off running. For someone with little legs, she was fast. "SARIA!" When I caught up to her, I realized that we were in the music room.
"Listen," She whispered. "This is my brother's band."
I looked up. I saw a girl with blue tinted skin and dark blue hair playing the trumpet. That must be Navi. I saw the girl named Ruto playing the guitar next to a boy with blonde hair, who was also playing guitar. I couldn't see his face but I guessed that he was Link. I also saw Sheik playing the castanets.
"Know this song?" Saria asked me. I smiled and whispered, "Yes. It's Gerudo Valley!" (A/N: Review saying, "#GerudoValley" if you love that song!)
"Correct! By the way, that's my brother playing the guitar," Saria said.
"That's what I thought," I told her.
I watched in awe as they played beautifully. Sheik never missed a beat, Ruto and Link were amazing and Navi played the trumpet with ease. When they finished, the music instructor praised their skills and the students' cheers were deafening. I guessed that they were a really popular band. "That was wonderful! Thank you for giving us that lovely show!" The instructor exclaimed. "It was a pleasure, Ms. Naryu," Navi said, putting her trumpet away. Ruto smiled. "I'd love to help the new students learn more about music!" She threw a half-hearted glare toward the crowd and said, "But if you don't practice, what's the point! Practice, practice, practice people!" The audience laughed as Ruto wagged her finger at them in a motherly way.
Navi spotted Saria and bounded over to us. "HEY! HEY! HEY!" She exclaimed as she hugged both of our necks. "Who is your new friend, Sar?" She asked, grinning at me. "This is Zelda," Saria said. "We ran into each other… literally." Navi laughed and said, "Isn't that how you met Tatl?"
Saria only smiled.
"Are you new here?" Navi asked me.
"Yeah, my father got a new job in this town." She immediately lit up.
"Awesome! Now we can hang out and eat lunch together and have sleepovers and-"
Saria whispered to me, "She's always like this when she meets someone new." I giggled.
"-and play pranks on people and study together! We'll become pretend sisters!" Navi squealed as she jumped up and down. Ruto walked over to us and rolled her eyes at Navi's antics. "How much sugar did you have for breakfast, Nav? She asked. "None." Navi admitted. "I just have an endless amount of energy inside me." Ruto laughed and turned to me.
"I'm Ruto," She said, shaking my hand. "Nice to meet you! What's your name?"
"Zelda."
"Pretty! I've been thinking about changing mine."
I shook my head. "I don't think you should. Your name fits you."
"Really?"
I nodded and smiled.
Ruto grinned really big and gave me a gigantic bear hug. "I'm so touched!" She said, squeezing the life out of me. "You're… welcome…" I wheezed. Saria's eyes widened. "Don't go choking the life out of my new friend, Ruto!" She said. "Her face is turning red!" Ruto then let go of me and laughed sheepishly as I gasped for breath. "Sorry 'bout that," Ruto said, patting my shoulder. I laughed when I had finally gotten my breath back. "Don't worry! I'm fine," I said, fixing my hair.
Saria then looked behind me and said, "Here comes Link and Sheik." I turned around and looked at the two said boys. I saw link and my heart skipped a beat. He had sandy blonde hair and beautiful ocean blue eyes. When he smiled at Saria, I saw that he had sparkling straight teeth. My breath caught when Link looked straight at me. He smiled sweetly and I suddenly felt very self-conscious. I looked away from Link and glanced over at Sheik. He wore a blank expression as he walked beside Link, his red eyes sparkling. He then turned his eyes towards me with an almost challenging gaze. I gave him my best stare back to see what he would do. Surprisingly, I saw the corner of his mouth twitch into a smirk… but almost instantly, the smirk disappeared and it was replaced with the same blank look from before. Pretty mysterious guy…
"Hey, Saria! What's up?" Link said.
"Link! Why didn't you let me ride with you?" Saria asked, slightly hurt.
"I had to get here earlier than usual and I didn't want to wake my little sister up."
I had to stop myself from cooing. It was so sweet! I guess that I wasn't the only one who thought that it was adorable. "AWW!" Navi squealed. "Link! You're such a sweet older bro." Link rubbed the back of his head and said, "Well, I try!"
I giggled at his modesty. At the sound of my laughing, Link turned his head to me. I instantly felt my face get hot. He smiled at me with those pearly whites. "Who's your new friend, gals?" He asked. "Her name is Zelda," Navi answered. "She just moved here! We are going to be BFFS!"
I had to cover my pointed ears to save my hearing from Navi's high pitched squeals. Sheik simply closed his eyes, trying to tune it out. "Would you kindly stop your screaming, Navi?" Navi frowned and said, "Well, I'm sorry that I'm excited, Sheik. You could at least show some kind of appreciation for Zelda's existence?!" Sheik rolled his eyes but waved at me. "Nice to meet you," I said, holding out my hand. He shook my hand and then nodded. Navi huffed. "That means hello. Sheik doesn't talk very much." She said.
"Actions speak louder than words, Navi." Sheik said quietly.
Navi smirked. "Louder than this?" She stood on her toes and yelled at the top of her lungs into his ear. "HELLOOOOOO!"
Sheik squeezed his eyes shut at the ear piercing noise. Some students stopped walking and stared. The Sheikah glared daggers at Navi whereas she simply smiled sweetly.
Link patted Sheik on the back. "You know not to mess with the fairy of mischief, man."
The girls and I laughed at the whole scene. Link looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.
I knew that I was going to have quite an eventful year.
