Hello everyone, thank you for sticking with me on this story. Yes! There's one last chapter left! I hadn't (Properly) put in a lemon; so that is what I might do. ...Who knows. Anyway, as always. Read, enjoy, review.
I allowed him to walk inside first as I opened the door to my house. He walked in timidly as his eyes wandered around the house, "Um, you have a nice house." His voice spoke softly once I closed the door behind us. I sighed slightly.
Placing his guitar next time on the couch, I sat across from him trying to think of what to say. `Where should I start ... ?' I quietly thought to myself as I watched him look at me in the eyes timidly. "Yuma" I started, "Is this what you do every night?" He frowned slightly. Taking it as a sign of him saying `yes', I continued. " If you're struggling to find a home, you should have asked either one of us to have a place to stay instead of going off into the Subway Station. It would make sense for you to not want to stay with me for the night cause it seems that you don't like me all that much-" "That's not true." He pipped up in an almost whisper tone.
I was a bit surprise to find out that did that, but I quietly listened to him as he continued. " I-I just don't want to be a burden to either one of you. Besides; I'm trying to make more money on the side by doing street performances. Ever since my father left us, he left us with nothing but a debt. I'm honestly trying my best to help my mom pay it. If I don't then it'll go to me and she'll be depressed. ... The last time she was depressed she almost committed suicide." His eyes looked down. "So I made certain sacrifices. I sometimes wonder how I kept going; living in this hard world. I realized one day that it was reading your books." My eyes widened once he said those words. "It's not the stories of your life that relates to me; it was the feelings you felt along the way. When you talked about the Wind, she reminded me of my father. They're alike because they brought us happiness only to bring destruction near the end. Even though I'm struggling financially, I still will find away to buy another one of your books when a new one is released. Now that I've met you in person, I can't help but be scared of being around you. This is the person I've always wanted to get to know, to hang out with you," he paused for a second and whispered, "to always be together with." He hung his head down as his face turned crimson.
`... Eh?' My left I twitched in utter confusion. `Did he just confessed to me?' I quickly calmed myself down before I made any action. (cough s.f.x.) "Well, there's nothing to be afraid of, Yuma. My home is your home." I scratched the back of my head and looked off towards the kitchen. "You must be hungry. Is there anything you would like to eat in particular?" He looked back up to me and smiled slightly. I simply smiled back as I gently placed my hand on top of his head and ruffled his hair.
His face remained red. "A-Anything will do, but please ... allow me to help you... " He trailed off as he shut his eyes and quickly moved his lips onto mine.
He clutched onto my shoulders for help once he moved over to sit on my lap unconsciously. His lips were soft, yet gentle. I was too shocked to even move. `Whoa! What the hell is happening!' I thought before he broke away. "Uh, I-I'm so sorry! " His body jerked off in a hurry. It was then that I blinked my eyes to process what had just happened.
`Calm down, Gakupo. His emotions got the best of him.' I took a deep breath and faced him again once more. "Maa, Maa. It's okay, Yuma. It's not like you've done it intentionally. Your emotions got the best of you." I tried making him feel comfortable as I stood from my seat. "Just sit here and do whatever while I make some Udon and sliced beef." Ruffling his hair one more time, I walked off into the kitchen.
I think I played that smoothly.
I turned off my laptop once I was done printing out the last of my pages. Couldn't believe I got a solid three-hundred pages done in a night. I guess writing about Luka had driven me to do it- (Knock, knock s.f.x.) I turned around in my chair to see Yuma standing in the doorway wearing the pair of pj's I gave him earlier. Motioning him to come in, he walked over to me calmly. "You came at the perfect timing. I just got done printing out the new volume to Mr. Improvement." I smiled once his eyes widened in shock.
"N-No way!" He half screamed as he jumped up in delight. "I can't wait to get my hands on the new volume! Hopefully there won't be a long line tomorrow at the bookstore. Once the news is out about you releasing a new one, almost everyone puts out a reservation to get one before they get sold out!"
His eyes just read how determined he was to get the book. "My, my. Never had I thought to see you be so hyped up." I chuckled slightly, causing him to blush. "Well I sent my manager the pages through email, so he should bring about three copies of them by five or six in the morning tomorrow. You'll be able to get your hand on it by the time he knocks on my door." I yawned. "Better get some sleep, you got work tomorrow."
After saying that, he gave a big grin and bowed to me. "Goodnight, Gakupo-san." With that, he then walked back into the guest bedroom.
