Hello everyone! Okay, so, here it is, the epilogue Part 1!

Yay! Okay, let's get started!

*This takes place at the winter festival in Elsa and Jack's senior year.*

"Come on, you can do this," Elsa whispered to herself, pacing back and forth from the backstage.

"Hey Elsie," someone called out, making Elsa jump.

"God, Jack, you scared me," she exclaimed as her boyfriend's head popped out from the curtains.

"Mission accomplished," he smirked, and Elsa playfully smacked his shoulder.

"Really though, I'm nervous," Elsa slipped back into her panicking state, pacing back and forth once more.

"Don't worry-"

"But I am worrying!" Elsa cut him off.

"Well, don't. You sang last year, too. What's so different?"

"Everything," she whispered, but her defense was halfhearted. Although the statement had some truth to it, when she really thought of it, nothing had changed at all. Not in that case.

Of course, she and Jack had both been kidnapped and either mentally or physically tortured, sure, nothing had changed, right?

Anna had helped Elsa to see that the sad or scary things in life shouldn't keep you from being happy. It was so good to have Anna back in her life now. She didn't even realize just how much she had missed her.

The two sisters spent nearly every moment outside of school and studying together. Anna still went to a public school, declining to register for BPAA and staying at her boyfriend, Kristoff's school. At first, Elsa had been wary, especially when she had heard of Anna's first boyfriend, but she had to admit, she and Kristoff made a good match.

"Alright, I can do this."

Jack smiled. "There's the Elsa we know and love. Go break a leg."

"Hopefully I won't," she muttered back, ignoring his smirk.

He pulled her back for a quick kiss before letting her go.

Elsa was smiling when she walked onto the stage.

The students were just as populated as the last time she had been on the stage, but this time, she felt something else; excitement.

She smiled at the crowd, and grabbed the microphone as she sat down at the piano.

"As you all know, a lot has happened over the summer," she waited for the murmurs of agreement to die down before continuing. "This is a song I wrote for those events as well as some more personal ones. Some people have inspired me a lot, so, this song's for them."

She didn't mention that her song was also for herself.

She stared down at the piano, and rested her hands on the smooth keys.

She bowed her head down, taking a single moment to herself before playing.

Once Elsa began to sing, all of her worries drifted away.

When you ask me

Who I am

What is my vision

Do I have a plan?

Where is my strength?

Have I nothing to say?

I hear the words in my head but I push them away

She smiled as she sung, thinking of everything that had happened. This was who she used to be, but that girl was gone. She had shed her cripplingly shy nature for a more sure and positive one. Of course she still had her moments, but she was far more outgoing than she used to be.

Cause I stand for the power to change

I live for the perfect day

I love 'til it hurts like crazy

I hope for a hero to save me

She was living proof of that. Once upon a time, she was so sure that nothing ever changed. But she was proven wrong by a wild card in her perfectly organized deck of cards. Nothing would hold her back anymore, but that didn't mean she was alone or never needed rescuing.

I stand for the strange and lonely

I believe there's a better place

I don't know if the sky is heaven

But I pray anyways

Some people needed someone to stand up for them, and some people just needed a voice. But she knew that there were better things out there, and she would wait for them, but for now, things were pretty great.

And I don't know

What tomorrow brings

The road less traveled

Will it set us free?

Cause we're taking it slow

These tiny legacies

I don't try to change the world

But what will you make of me?

Gradually, as she sung along, her voice got louder and more confident, and more beautiful. Especially to the silver-haired boy watching behind the curtains.

Cause I stand for the power to change

I live for the perfect day

I love 'til it hurts like crazy

I hope for a hero to save me

I stand for the strange and lonely

I believe there's a better place

I don't know if the sky is heaven

But I pray anyways

Elsa continued to play soulfully, putting her heart into it. She was captivated by the music, and for that moment, it was just her alone in her own little world.

With the slightest of breezes

We fall just like leaves

As the rain washes us from the ground

We forget who we are

We can't see in the dark

And we quickly get lost in the crowd

Everyone had their flaws. Even Elsa, especially Elsa. She just explained how it's easy to forget who you are, and what's really important, but what matters stays true through it all.

Elsa lowered her volume to sing the bridge into the final chorus.

Cause I stand for the power to change

I live for the perfect day

I love 'til it hurts like crazy

I hope for a hero to save me

She raised her voice louder and louder, leading the crescendo fuller until she was back to her free voice.

Cause I stand for the power to change

I live for the perfect day

I love 'til it hurts like crazy

I hope for a hero to save me

I stand for the strange and lonely

I believe there's a better place

I don't know if the sky is heaven

But I pray anyways

Elsa finished out the chord, dragging the note on.

She got up, smiling and giving a small bow to the roaring crowd.

She rushed off the stage, feeling happy, like she could do anything.

"You were amazing!" Jack exclaimed, catching her in midair as she jumped into his arms.

"That was so awesome!" Elsa said back, laughing.

"Nice going. I don't mean to gloat, but, I told you so," Jack smirked.

Elsa responded by maturely sticking her tongue out at him.

"Oh, that hurt. Dying...going...down," Jack began to fake dying, and it would have been quite amusing had Elsa not been trapped in his arms.

"Jack, no!" She shrieked as he pulled her to the ground.

They both laughed, laying side by side.

After a few moments, they got up again, smiling.

"Oh," Jack said suddenly, reaching into his pocket.

"Jack?" Elsa asked warily.

"I got you something," he winked at her.

"Jack..." She said warily.

He just grinned and pulled out a tiny silver thing.

Elsa's eyes widened.

"See, I saw this the other day, and it looked like you, so I got it. And I figured, why not? So, yeah..." Jack trailed off.

"Jack," Elsa smiled. "It's beautiful."

"...So I got you a promise ring," Jack finished, blushing slightly.

"Jack, thank you, I love it," Elsa smiled, taking the ring and sliding it onto the appropriate finger.

The ring was silver and thin, with a single raised crystal in the form of an intricate snowflake.

"Do you love anything else?" Jack asked, smirking.

Elsa laughed. "Hmm...no."

"Well thanks," Jack playfully shoved her, rolling his eyes.

Elsa laughed again, and hugged him, pecking him on the lips affectionately.

"I love you," she told him, smiling seriously.

"I love you, too," he responded and kissed her again.

"Whoa, PDA guys!" Someone called out.

The two broke away, smiling.

"Shut up, Haddock!" Jack called out.

Hiccup came walking in holding hands with Astrid, and Merida and Punzie followed behind them, laughing over something.

Hiccup and Astrid had further deepened their relationship since a few months ago, and Punzie had started dating another guy whom they seemed to be pretty serious. Merida still refused to accept that boys were something other than annoying friends or a very un-ladylike word, and the girls had long since given up the pastime of playing matchmaker for her.

"So, you all want to blow this joint?" Hiccup asked.

They all stared at him.

"What?" He snapped.

Astrid sighed, a smile hidden on her face. "You're dead to me."

"Whatever," he rolled his eyes.

They all laughed and agreed to meet Anna and Kristoff at a restaurant.

Everything was peaceful, with the every now and then drama that came with high school, but Jack and Elsa were perfectly happy to be sailing through it together.

Some things might not ever be clear, like their even more mysterious savior whom had shown up at the warehouse during Jack's kidnapping, or why Kozmotis Black hated Jack so much, as he refused to talk.

Maybe they would never know who the woman was, maybe they would never know what really happened when the lights went out, but they couldn't lose sleep on it. The past was in the past, after all, even if it was a strange one.

But Kozmotis and Pitch Black were locked away. Kozmotis was certainly never getting out and Pitch would be an older man when he finished his sentence. Either way, there wasn't anything they could do to them anymore.

Everything was happy, Elsa could laugh and smile again, Jack could be who he really was, Anna could have her sister back.

Everything was perfect, in Elsa's mind.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-

Sometimes, when you see a couple, there is that rare moment where everyone can see the connection. Where the couple is so bound together that there is nothing but the future for them.

And sometimes, it's enough for them to be there.

Every now and then, a certain platinum blonde haired girl would pop up in Corona, Burgess, generally with either a young strawberry blonde girl or a silver haired boy.

When she was with the girl, she would laugh and smile and hold her hand every now and then just to know that she was there.

With the boy, she would always hold his hand, walk arm in arm, or find some way to be touching him. It was enough to see that he would always be there for her, but it was even better to know that he would.

Every now and then, the boy would sneak a glance at the girl out of the corner of his eye, or stop and stare at her in the middle of something.

She would ask "What?" and he would just laugh it off.

Sometimes, the platinum blonde haired girl would be alone, walking by herself or sipping a coffee while reading a good book. It was nice to be alone sometimes, but nobody really wants to be alone, even if they convince themselves they do.

But anywhere, and everywhere, the girl went, she would always wear a simple silver ring with a crystal snowflake, and she would always toy with it whenever her hands needed something to do.

Until one day, many years later, after the silver haired boy had followed her to college and through life, she didn't wear it.

She didn't wear the one thing she always had.

No. Instead, she wore a different ring.

And sometime later, she wore another on the opposite hand; a simple, golden band, representing all she ever needed.

The couple stayed in touch with their friends, but they ended up moving back to Arendelle, in fact, reclaiming her old manor.

The strawberry blonde sister and her straw-haired fiancé would come over often, staying the night frequently.

Eventually, though, the happy couple decided that it was time to start a family.

Many years ago, Elsa would not have pictured herself in the place where she was now.

That was when she was Katrian Hope.

Kate had a lot on her plate, fiercely guarding her secret more than anything.

But she learned that secrets weren't meant to keep forever, no. Those were promises.

And promises and secrets were two entirely different ordeals, don't you think?

Sometimes, the most perfect people have the most tragic pasts. But those are their secrets. Some wear them, some hide them.

Kate had a secret; she used to be Elsa.

But Elsa had a secret, too; she had never really gone in the first place.

Eventually, the two would have to collide and break apart the world as Kate knew it.

Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing.

And such came the revealing of the secret of Katrian Hope.

Okay, in the last bit, just some cheesy drabbles for the emotional aspect:) Epilogue Part 2 coming soon!

By the way, the song I used was I Stand by Idina Menzel, and, if you haven't noticed already, I didn't put a song that was written by somebody else and say that Elsa had written it, but, since it was Idina who sang I Stand I figured it would be okay to say that Elsa wrote it.

Review time!

BEASBeth (I'm sorry I got your username wrong the first time!): well, considering the fact that I don't even know what the first one is, I'll go with the latter. Lol, love that movie! Anyways, thank you so much! And as I explained, maybe it will be explained, maybe it won't. Probably won't be explained...in TSOKH... And haha, wait, what?

Sure Snowflake: Aww, thank you! And for your question...well, I suppose so. There are some things that need to be explained if you know what I'm talking about. I'll post more details about it on my final A/N and my profile when the story is officially status: complete. And ikr? Anna's just like the side character you always need in the Jelsa fandom!

Livia Toric: omg thank you! And I'm so glad that I can evoke reactions like that through writing, it makes me happy and fulfilled, if that even makes any sense whatsoever :')

Trapid: lol, fear not, I have way too many other stories going on, when this story is finished, I will start on The Shifters so have fun reading The Guardians and following that story (if you want to, of course)! Oh, and my other works, Camp Frozen and The Story of My Life will go on, too. Hey, all you authors out there, go check out the new message at the end of my story alerts for Camp Frozen on my profile!

Rose: well, considering I answered all of your questions already...hi:)

Happypenguin177: thank you so much! However, I will say that I hope I don't start another story any time soon. After this, I will have 3 stories going on at the same time and summer only lasts so long (aka my parents only let me on the computer for so long;P)
