AN. Hey everyone, I'm back! Thank you all so much for your understanding, wishes and reviews x ! So here's the newest chapter and it's dedicated to my uncle who I'll miss very much xxx 3 .

Valkyrie's POV

I have not stopped vomitting for a week now. Skulduggery's starting to worry and has insisted on me staying in bed. He rarely left my side unless it was to get me and himself food, if he had to wash or if Danger or Time had to talk to him. Other than that he was with me the whole time. He was also very helpful when I was vomitting or just felt sick. He'd hold me and talk to me to get my mind off it. After I vomited today he had had enough and called for Kenspeckle, too worried to let this go on any longer without knowing what's wrong with me.

We are now laying in bed waiting for Kenspeckle to arrive. A cramp creeps its way into my stomach and I groan. Skulduggery kisses my forehead and holds me closer, "How bad is it? Are you okay?" I hear the worry in his voice. I look up at him and smile.

"I'm fine. It's not that bad." I kiss him softly. He sighs and buries his face in my neck.

"This is killing me," he whispers. I stroke his hair.

"It will be okay."

Just then there's a knock on the door and Kenspeckle comes in. He smiles softly at us, "I am here Mr and Ms Pleasant. I understand you are not feeling well, Valkyrie?" I nod.

"Yes she's been vomitting and having bad stomach cramps for the past week or so," Skulduggery says, standing up.

Kenspeckle nods, "Very well. Mr Pleasant please leave so I can examin Valkyrie."

Just as Skulduggery is about to protest I reach out and hold his hand, "It's okay Skulduggery. It will only take a few minutes."

He hesitates and sighs. "Very well," he leans down and kisses me softly. "I love you," he whispers.

"I love you too," I whisper and watch as he leaves.

Kenspeckle sighs, "Alright, let's get started shall we?" I nod.

Skulduggery's POV

I pace outside the my bedroom door, biting my nails. This is taking forever, they've been in there for a half an hour. What if something's wrong? What if it's serious? I just got her, I can't loose her now.

Please, God, let Valkyrie be alright.

Meanwhile... Valkyrie's POV

Kenspeckle feels around my stomach and listens to it with his stethascope. After a while of doing this a few times he packs his stuff away and turns to me, "Well I know what's wrong with you and don't worry, you're not sick."

"Then what's wrong with me?"

He smiles at me gently, "Well Valkyrie, it appears you're pregnant." My jaw droos open and suddenly everything goes black.

An hour later...

I feel someone holding my hand and I hear Skulduggery whispering in my ear. Kenspeckle's words play over and over in my head.

You're pregnant...

My eyes flutter open and I look over at Skulduggery. He smiles whrn he sees me awake. I look at him confused, "What happened?"

He holds me close and says grimly, "You fainted after Kenspeckle told you what was wrong."

I nod, "Did he tell you what was wrong?"

He shakes his head and a worried expression comes onto his face, "No. What's wrong? Is it serious?" I shake my head and bite my lip nervously.

I sigh and say quickly, "I'm pregnant"

Skulduggery's POV

"I'm pregnant"

I smile widely and before I realise what I'm doing I'm off the bed taking her with me, kissing her and spinning her around.

Evetually and gently lay her back down and kiss her again. I place my hands on her stomach and kiss it. "I can't believe. I'm going to be a father!" She giggles and nods. "You're going to be a wonderful mother," I say softly and kiss her stomach again.

She smiles, "And you're going to be a wonderful daddy."

I'm gonna be a daddy...

Valkyrie's POV

Skulduggery's now asleep next to me but I can't sleep just yet. I can't help but think about the future when our baby is supposed to die. I can't let that happen. I just can't. I don't care about changing the future. I'm letting my baby die. My heart fills with pain at thought of loosing Skulduggery and our child.

Let the planning begin...
