Hi… Look sorry that I haven't been updating as frequently as I said I would and I really have no excuse. I've just had a lot of trouble trying to type out a chapter and stuff. Also I was put off fan fiction for a couple days because I was reading a fan fiction that kind of disturbed me because there are some things that I can't accept me favourite characters doing in a fan fiction. Anyway I'm super sorry and here have some pies, I'm also sorry for the long A/N. have some more pies.

I don't own the mortal instruments or its characters they belong to Cassandra Clare.

Magnus's POV

Magnus groaned and rolled over onto his back and pried his eyes open to look up at the plain, white ceiling. It was Sunday and Magnus didn't want to get up, He wanted to stay in bed and mope about everything bad that had happened yesterday. Most of that had centred around stupid Camille and her stupid idea.

He still couldn't remember sleeping with Camille, He had thought that after a better night's sleep he would remember at least something, but he can't! All he can remember is Alec pushing him away when he tried to kiss him.

There was a person banging their hand on his bedroom door. "Magnus! Get up!" His mother yelled, "It's almost two in the afternoon!"

Magnus groaned and rolled out of bed, hitting his head on the floor. Magnus groaned louder and rubbed his head. "Magnus are you up yet?" his mother yelled.

"Yes!" Magnus yelled loudly, staggering to his feet and grabbing his blanket and wrapping it around him. "I'm up."

"Well come on out, Ragnor has been downstairs watching cartoons and eating our ice-cream for two hours," She said.

Magnus sighed and walked to his bedroom door and opened it. He looked down at his mother who was glaring up at him, she looked annoyed which wasn't surprising because she always got annoyed whenever Ragnor ate all of their ice-cream.

"Go downstairs and talk to your friend!" she said, pointing down the stairs.

"I don't want to talk to him!" Magnus groaned, "He's fine down there he's just watching television and eating ice-cream! He's not hurting anyone!"

His mother grabbed his arm and started dragging him down the hallway towards the stairs. "You're going to talk to your friend Magnus," she said. "He said he wouldn't leave until he got to talk to you."

Magnus groaned and let his mother drag him downstairs to the lounge room. He saw Ragnor sprawled out on the couch, one leg over the couches arm rest, one arm protectively wrapped around a tub of ice-cream with a spoon of it and the other arm was dangling off the side of the couch.

Magnus moved Ragnor's legs and sat down on the couch. Ragnor sat up and put the tub of ice-cream down on the coffee table. "So are what are you going to do?" Ragnor asked.

Magnus looked at Ragnor and raised his eyebrow.

Ragnor sighed, "What are you going to do about Camille and Alec?" he asked.

"I don't know," Magnus admitted.

"Ask Alec out," Ragnor said. "There problem solved."

"But Camille's a good friend…" Magnus said. "I don't want her feelings to be hurt or something."

"Camille doesn't have feelings you can tell her you just want to be friends at school tomorrow. Plus Alec's cuter and nicer and adorable, He's just way better than Camille," Ragnor said.

"Okay I'll talk to Camille tomorrow," Magnus said. "But remember Alec pushed me away when I tried to kiss him!" Magnus said, cringing at how pathetic he sounded.

"Like I said yesterday he was probably scared or something," Ragnor said. "Just ask him out nicely and like if he says yes, take it slow or something," Ragnor nodded, "You know you could like develop a strong, happy relationship with the boy with like trust and love and stuff… but you do it slowly."

Magnus looked at his friend and thought about it. It actually sounded like a good idea. He could ask Alec out and take things slowly from there, so the boy doesn't get scared and push him away and run off.

"The only problem is that you," Ragnor pointed at Magnus, "You suck at taking things slow and you suck at strong, happy lovey-dovey relationships."

Magnus started to protest but he closed his mouth. Ragnor was right he does suck at taking things slow and he did suck at being in good, strong relationships. He could a few failed relationships stood out. Magnus sighed, "You're right I do suck a being in relationships, but that doesn't mean I won't try to try and have a good relationship with Alec."

Ragnor nodded, "Good," he said. "If you ever need any advice I can totally help you with that."

Magnus rolled his eyes. "You've got to get out of my house now," he said.

"Why?" Ragnor asked.

"Because you've been here for two hours, watching my TV and eating all my ice-cream," Magnus said, standing up and tightening the blanket around his shoulders.

"Well you were sleeping and I wasn't going to leave without speaking to you," Ragnor said, getting up off the couch. "Plus who was going to eat all your ice-cream?"

"Goodbye Rags," Magnus said. "See you at school tomorrow."

"Bye!" Ragnor said brightly, walking out of the lounge room.

Magnus waited until he heard the front door shut until he climbed up the stairs, to his bedroom, walking slowly so he didn't trip over his blanket. He walked into his bedroom and flung himself down onto his bed and cocooned himself in his blanket.

Tomorrow he'll ask Alec out on a date, tomorrow he'll sort things out with Camille and tomorrow morning, just before class, he'll do the homework that he was supposed to do yesterday and today.

o.O.o.O.o.O.o

Magnus stumbled out of his car. He had woken up at four this morning so he could do his homework. He had had about three cups of coffee to keep him going while he was completing his homework for three hours. He needed another cup of coffee to shower, get changed into something appropriate for school and drive to school. But the coffee was wearing off and he was starting to feel like crap.

Ragnor walked up to Magnus and smiled brightly. "Good morning, handsome," Ragnor said, wrapping his arm around Magnus's neck. "How are we feeling?"

"Terrible." Magnus answered.

"Really?" Ragnor asked, "I don't see how you can feel terrible, you slept forever on Saturday and Sunday."

"Well I woke up early and my body's not used to it," Magnus snapped.

"Whoa!" Ragnor said, "No need to get snappy."

"Sorry," Magnus muttered. "I need coffee."

"Well I don't have any," Ragnor said. "You're gonna have to deal with your lack of coffee."

Magnus groaned and stumbled over a raised crack on the pavement. "Ragnor, I want to go home and sleep."

"You need to suck it up," Ragnor said, pulling him into the school. "You need to crush Camille and ask out a certain blue-eyed boy."

"Right," Magnus said.

They walked to their lockers and Magnus put in his locks code, he was a bit surprised he actually knew it. He pulled at his lock to unlock it but it didn't unlock. Magnus let out a frustrated growl and started pulling his lock like a mad man. When his lock still wouldn't unlock he started to hit the lock with his heavy book bag.

"Open the frack up!" he yelled, slamming his book bag down on it again.

"Magnus," Ragnor yelled, "You're hurting the poor lock!" Ragnor grabbed Magnus's arms and pulled him away from his locker.

"That stupid lock isn't opening," Magnus growled out, straightening his shirt.

Ragnor hushed Magnus and stroked the lock, "It's okay little lock," Ragnor whispered, "Magnus didn't mean to hurt you."

Magnus rolled his eyes at his friend.

Ragnor pulled open Magnus's lock and Magnus stared at him. "How'd you do that?" he asked.

"All the lock needed was some love," Ragnor said, smiling sweetly. "Now hurry up and get your junk so we can crush Camille and you can ask out the cutie pie that is Alec Lightwood."

Magnus got his stuff out and shut his locker, "Let's go find Camille."

Ragnor grabbed his arm and pulled him down the hall. Ragnor tapped a girl on the shoulder. She turned around and Magnus recognised who the girl was, it was Isabelle Lightwood.

"Hi," Ragnor said, "Do you know where Camille is?"

"No," Isabelle said. She looked at Magnus and glared at him.

Magnus was confused why was she glaring at him? He was pretty sure he hasn't done anything to her.

Isabelle shoved past the two of them and walked down the hall. "What's got her panties in a bunch?" Ragnor asked, looking at Isabelle's retreating figure.

"I don't know," Magnus said, shrugging.

"Magnus!" A female voice yelled out.

Magnus and Ragnor turned around and they saw Camille walking towards them. Magnus sighed and looked at Ragnor who gave him an encouraging thumbs-up and mouthed "crush her."

Magnus looked back at Camille, who was now standing in front of him with a big grin on her face. "How's it going sweetie?" she asked, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.

Magnus heard a few people in the hall way gasp and mutter things like "Why do the hot people always get together" and "I knew that they would get together, it was only a matter of time."

"Look," Magnus said pulling Camille's arms away from him. "We're not together."

Camille started laughing, "Magnus you're so funny!"

"Camille, I'm not joking."

Camille laughed even harder and smacked him softly on the arm, "Stop it, sweetie."

Magnus looked at Ragnor. His friend looked just as confused as he felt. What was going on with Camille? Why is she acting all weird and in denial? Magnus thought.

Magnus sighed, "Camille, stop it."

"Stop what?" She asked, twirling a lock of blond hair around her finger.

"Stop being all weird and creepy!" Ragnor yelled. "Magnus doesn't want to be with you so deal with it!"

Camille huffed and Magnus heard a few people in the hallway laugh.

"Well it doesn't matter anyway," Camille said. "Because Alec thinks that you're with me and that's all that matters."

"Wait what?" Magnus asked.

Camille sighed, "You like Alec and that can't happen because he's poor and he's stupid and he looks like Will, it's basically a recipe for disaster."

Magnus flinched at the mention Will's name. "You don't know that!" Magnus said, "He's probably nothing like Will."

"He's probably like Will," Camille said. "So just stay away from him."

"Camille you're being stupid," Ragnor said. "Not all black haired and blue eyed boys are jerks, Alec's probably really nice, so you can stop being an idiot and let Magnus get to know Alec."

Camille huffed, "Magnus you're just going to get your heart broken. I'm just trying to help you."

"Thank you, Camille." Magnus said, "But you don't really need to help, I can look after myself."

"Fine," Camille said, "But if you get your heart broken I'm going to rub it in your face."

Magnus rolled his eyes, "Camille, I won't get my heart broken, I'm not an idiot."

The bell rung out and Ragnor grabbed Magnus's arm, "Great now we can't find Alec before school, we'll have to wait until lunch."

Magnus groaned, damn he missed his chance to find Alec.

o.O.o.O.o.O.o.

The bell rung and Magnus shot out of his seat, grabbing Ragnor's arm and pulling him out of the classroom. Ragnor stumbled after him.

"Magnus, slow down!" Ragnor said. "And let go of my arm!"

Magnus slowed down to a walk and let go of Ragnor's arm. "Sorry, I just want to find Alec and ask him out already!"

Ragnor smiled, "I haven't seen you this excited to ask someone out since…." Ragnor trailed off and Magnus stopped walking. "Sorry," Ragnor said, "I didn't mean to…"

"No it's okay," Magnus said and started to walk towards the cafeteria.

"So how are we going to find Alec?" Ragnor asked, "Because Jace said that Alec lurks and hides around school and it's hard to find him."

Magnus thought for a minute, "Maybe we could ask Jace about some of Alec's usual hiding spot or something."

Magnus made his way towards the school's cafeteria, Ragnor following behind him. Magnus walked through the doors and made his way over to Jace's table, Alec wasn't sitting there which didn't surprise Magnus at all.

"Jace," Ragnor called, when they were halfway towards Jace's table. "We need to know where Alec hides!"

Magnus sighed and slapped Ragnor in the arm, "Shut up you idiot."

"Sorry," Ragnor mumbled, rubbing his arm.

Magnus and Ragnor walked to Jace's table and Jace frowned. "What do you two want now?" he asked.

"Didn't you just hear me yell out from across the cafeteria?" Ragnor asked.

"No," Jace said, shrugging a little.

Ragnor huffed and folded his arms over his chest.

"Anyway," Magnus said, "I need to know where Alec could be lurking."

Jace raised an eyebrow, "Why?"

"Because I need to talk to him," Magnus said.

"Why do you need to talk to him?" Jace asked.

Magnus groaned, "Jace I just need to ask him something okay!"

"What do you need to ask him?" Jace asked.

"That's none of your business," Magnus said.

Jace sighed, "He usually hangs out near the abandoned bathroom, not in the bathroom but around there."

"Okay, thanks." Magnus said. He turned around and walked out of the cafeteria with Ragnor towing behind him. He walked down the halls quickly, his shoes clicking against the tiled floor.

"Weren't you tired like a few hours ago?" Ragnor asked.

"I was really?" Magnus asked, "I guess I'm just excited about seeing Alec and asking him out."

Ragnor sighed, "You're so weird."

Magnus turned down a hall and saw a familiar figure sitting down on the floor with a science text book open in his lap.

"Alec!" Magnus called out.

Alec looked up and Magnus saw a look of shock come across Alec's features.

"Hi!" Magnus said, walking over to him. He heard Ragnor walking behind him, he turned around and made shooing motions with his hands and Ragnor nodded and walked away.

Magnus turned back around and walked over to Alec and sat down next to him.

"Oh… um Hi?" Alec stuttered out, shutting his text book.

"Hi," Magnus said, smiling brightly.

"Is something wrong with the pool?" Alec asked, "Because if there is I can fix it."

"No, no there's nothing wrong with the pool," Magnus said laughing a little. "I just wanted to ask you something."

Aaaaand I'm gonna leave you guys here :P sorry.
